The study determines the importance of development of the tourism industry in the world, analyzes the economic impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on the international tourism industry, and examines the current trends in the sector. It was noted that the regions most vulnerable to changes in the tourism market are Asia and the Pacific (Macau (China), Fiji) and Europe (Spain, Croatia, Montenegro). It was emphasized that the measures taken by many States to support tourism during the pandemic period, such as the introduction of job protection programs, the development of training and retraining schemes aimed at developing new skills important in post-pandemic reality; payments to small and medium-sized enterprises in the tourism industry, their exemption from taxes and fees, etc. It was concluded that the main trends in the tourist market at present are digitalization, individualization of travel, the predominance of local tourism. Priority tasks formulated by the World Tourism Organization are revealed, which should contribute to the restoration of the industry.","PeriodicalId":255412,"journal":{"name":"Scientific Review. Particular attention is paid to the situation that has developed as a result of the restrictions imposed due to the coronavirus pandemic. It is shown that, in general, Russians living in the countries of Southeast Asia showed good adaptability to the changed situation. The most difficult period was in the first few months after the announcement of the quarantine. In the future, after the lifting of part of the restrictions on internal movements, as well as due to the presence of remote employment among the majority of Russians living in the countries of Southeast Asia, the situation began to improve. A number of countries have made it possible for foreign nationals to get vaccinated. A characteristic feature of the migration of Russians to the countries of Southeast Asia is that in most cases the main migration trajectories lie in the plane of tourism, that is, \"from a tourist to a permanent resident.\" The largest Russian-speaking communities are currently concentrated in Vietnam and Thailand. Up until the start of the pandemic, there was also an increase in the interest of Russians in such countries of the region as Cambodia, Myanmar, and Singapore. A combination of attractive factors, including a relatively loyal visa regime in most countries of the region, a warm climate throughout the year, and a low cost of living, attract Russians from different regions of Russia. At the same time, in the vast majority of cases, Russians retain their citizenship, as well as real estate and close ties with Russia. Many of them continue to work remotely in their companies and organizations, and additional income is provided by renting out apartments in Russia. The paper concludes that after the end of the pandemic and the lifting of the main restrictions on international travel, the attractiveness of the countries of Southeast Asia for Russians will be quickly restored.","PeriodicalId":255412,"journal":{"name":"Scientific Review. The purpose of the work: to describe the current socio-economic situation in the EAEU countries, taking into account its dynamics and the impact of recent events related to restrictive measures to combat the pandemic, as well as to conduct a comparative analysis of the living standard of the population and the main indicators of the labor market. To do this, indicators of socio-economic development were first identified, according to which the features of the socio-economic development of countries were assessed. Then there were assessed the current level of socio-economic development of countries and its dynamics, as well as individual cross-country comparisons were considered. There are some shortcomings in the completeness of statistical data on the socio-economic development of the EAEU countries, which do not allow the cross-country comparisons. First of all, this concerns differences in the methodology for assessing the level of poverty. The new rules introduce concessions for foreign citizens in obtaining permanent residence, which is part of the PRC's policy of attracting highly qualified specialists. Attracting African students to the PRC is part of the “Go abroad” economic strategy. Through educational exchanges, Beijing also participates in the formation of African political and business elites, oriented not towards China. Further, the author examines the popular anti-immigrant theses of a professor at Beijing Normal University, according to whom the relaxation of immigration control will lead China to Islamization. The professor's article received a wide response in the Chinese segment of the Internet, as many Chinese people are unhappy that foreign citizens will receive more rights and privileges. Under the new Regulation, foreigners, for example, are not subject to forced family planning. A new wave of Africanophobia has risen during the COVID-19 pandemic. African migrants were discriminated against. All this is related to the problem of adaptation of African migrants, since China does not provide for institutional mechanisms to facilitate the successful integration of African migrants. The fact of the growing importance of rating companies in the financial and non-financial sectors of the economy, as a tool for assessing the achievements of organizations, is noted. The general structure of the stages of preparing a company for rating in the field of achieving sustainable development goals with an emphasis on non-financial ratings, taking into account ESG factors, is considered. The main rating companies were named and a comparison of a number of parameters of the Methodologies and Assessment Methods proposed by them was carried out. The main directions of the rating assessment are formulated, as well as the content of sections, groups, subgroups, target criteria, indicators. The performed analysis allows, on the one hand, to group, and, on the other hand, to detail the stages of preparation for rating, mainly for organizations of the higher education system. Particular attention is paid to the ESG section of block G- “Corporate governance”. Within this section, the main requirements for the formation of criteria and indicators of the ESG rating in the field of relations with stakeholders and non-financial reporting on sustainable development are deciphered. The composition of the information disclosed by universities in the sustainability report has been systematized. A general conclusion is made about the need for a systematic approach to the preparation, implementation and monitoring of a strategy and step-by-step actions developed by an individually developed organization in the direction of progressive movement towards the achievement of sustainable development goals with a focus on ESG. In this regard, a new direction has appeared in the field of agriculture and food industry — the production of bio-products. In contrast to Russia, the governments of developed foreign countries care primarily about the small farmer, on whose shoulders agriculture has been and will continue to be supported. The West has long implemented a system of assistance in the form of grants and bonuses. In addition, there is a system of state orders for farm products, and if a farmer supplies products to schools and kindergartens, he is paid extra money for this. This is a very good example for our country. According to research company Ecovia Intelligence, 57.8 million hectares of arable land in the world were allocated for organic farming in the manufacturing sector. 2.7 million Working farmers in 178 countries.
