Various types of electronic catalogs and databases are presented in detail. The author analyzes the problems and outlines the technological ways for using information library resources by masters under the supervision of the library staff. The article presents the author’s model of technology of individual use of information library resources under the guidance of a library employee in the educational space of a new type. It provides for a set of interrelated modules that provide step-by-step access to masters for searching, processing, exchanging and storing individual scientific information. For the intensive functioning of the proposed technology, library staff individually provides various types of educational, consulting and research services to masters, acting as a partner of the teacher, co-author of training courses and administrator of Internet resources. Technologically organized individual application of information library resources provides for the integration of traditional and on-line forms of education, creating a virtual educational space. A series of lectures on Earth sciences for students of secondary schools was developed. The lectures are based on the use of innovative equipment, which has no equivalents in Russia and an interactive software and hardware complex with a spherical projection screen, developed at GC RAS. The use of this equipment significantly enhances the perception of the educational material, increases its visibility and informativeness, bringing the educational process to a qualitatively new level. In addition, the lectures are held in an interactive form with full contact and feedback from the students. The reasons of the rare usage by professors of the interactive methods and forms of education are shown, the factors determining intensity of application of the interactive methods at the higher school are presented either as and reception of these methods by students. The article discovers the interactive methods of training, whose evaluation of intensity of application have the more grade of discordance between students and professors. The results of exploration of connection of intensity of application of the methods of training with age and the length of service of professor, with professional and scientific activity, with presence (absence) degree, and also with the profile of the higher school, in which the methods are realized.
