Abstract

The article concerns the experience of some Asian and European countries which achieved during historically short period (20-25 years) a great progress in the field of school education and became the world leaders in the matter. On the conclusions of serious specialists these achievements are the results of strong selection, it good preparation of future teachers. In this context the authors of the article tried to evaluate the lessons of developments of Russian system of teachers training and to give some recommendations and proposals in order to improve the actual situation.
