Abstract

The article considers the relevance of interdisciplinary integration in the school’s educational activities in Russia and abroad; the requirements of Russian educational standards and programs for teaching on an interdisciplinary basis are described; the data of a survey showing the inability of the teacher’s majority for the regular use of interdisciplinary connections are given; outlines the conclusions of scientists from Brazil, Spain, the USA about problems of interdisciplinarity implementation are given; the importance of studying the existing negative factors is substantiated; the possible consequences of risks are projected.
