This article illustrates the key characteristics that clearly reflect semantic shifts in vocabulary caused by rethinking axiological components: the frequent use of the green lexeme as part of neologisms; the creation of a new system of values with the help of neologisms with a positive connotation; the emergence of terms naming a person by the professional activity; a significant increase in the group of neologisms associated with economic and environmental discourses; the use of words related to gastronomic culture; interest in the problems of the impact of modern technologies on human life. The study of neologisms as a means of representing values and forming an assessment expands the range of research in the field of axiology and neology.","PeriodicalId":228573,"journal":{"name":"Proceedings of Southern Federal University. Both of the writers had interest in the synthesis of arts. We can find Derzhavin's allusions in «And Quiet Flows the Don». The work of a teacher with a class in which there are students with mental delay requires knowledge of the psychological characteristics of such students, and when compiling assignments, one should take into account their ability to master the necessary amount of information. All of the above requires special preparation for the lessons from the teacher.","PeriodicalId":228573,"journal":{"name":"Proceedings of Southern Federal University. The author focuses on the analysis of the axiological approach created by A.D.Deikina. The purpose of the article is to determine the potential of axiological linguometrics, to clarify its philosophical, psychological, didactic and methodological foundations. The use of theoretical methods in the study allowed us to establish the following: 1) the axiological approach is the basic category of the methodology – the meta-approach; 2) \"Russian (native) language is value\" is the essence of an axiological constant; 3) axiological linguometrics, being a strategic direction, a meta–approach, has a significant impact on the development of various vectors of scientific knowledge based on the axiological constant. The article proves the dominant position of the axiological approach in a number of existing approaches, on the basis of which a personality develops and its value orientation, meta-subject and subject skills are formed.","PeriodicalId":228573,"journal":{"name":"Proceedings of Southern Federal University. Chekhov and \"The Two Captains\" by V. Kaverin whose protagonists both go by the same symbolic name Montigomo the Hawk Pounce. Similar treaits in the images of Chechevitsyn and Sanya Grigoriyev are singled out, similar for the two works motifs of escaping and reading are highlighted, quotational allusions are located. Despite the fact that the appearance of Montigomo in Chekhov's text is traditionally attributed to the historical realia (the writer's contemporary had a quite similar nickname), the article suggests to look for possible prototypes of that name's in the classical adventure literature. The author suggests that the typological similarities between the texts are rooted not only in the reception of the Native American novels in the 19th-century Russia but also by the style of A. Chekhov influencing the formation of V. Kaverin's artistic principles that are emphatically oriented to the literary tradition.","PeriodicalId":228573,"journal":{"name":"Proceedings of Southern Federal University. The manifestations of theatricality in the novel chronotope, the organization of artistic discourse, and the system of images are studied. The fragmentary nature of the novel composition realizes the author's perception of history as a trauma, which is opposed by the search for integrity that arises at the level of the artistic image. The action of the novel implicates the image of history as a theater of shadows. The action of the novel is considered as an allegory of the creative process, the conclusion about the polygenre nature of Timm's novel as a historical novel and a metanovel is substantiated.","PeriodicalId":228573,"journal":{"name":"Proceedings of Southern Federal University. The solution of the issue of organising guided dialogic communication of learners is directly linked to the task of taking into account the communicative needs underlying the implementation of the different principles of foreign language teaching. The sequence and way in which the tasks and exercises of teaching foreign-language dialogue are carried out are close to the process of real communication, which is facilitated by the use of speech situations and role-play elements. Elements of role-playing become factors of additional optimization of the process of impact on the participants of communication. The order of practicing dialogical structures containing the studied grammatical phenomena in the system of exercises differs by the sequence of deployment of situations in which they function and are presented in macrodialogues corresponding to the needs of real communication. The aim of the article is to show the possibilities of speech exercises used in teaching dialogues in the target language (Russian), to describe the principles of linguodidactics and to reveal the specifics of the initial stage of teaching foreign-language dialogical speech.","PeriodicalId":228573,"journal":{"name":"Proceedings of Southern Federal University. Chekhov “I want to Sleep” (1988), reveals his biographical and folklore-ethnographic contexts, shows his connection with the social institute of nanny girls and autobiographical memoirs about this experience. Special attention is paid to the deep connection of the story with the tradition of a lullaby, common motifs and images of the author's work and folklore songs are revealed, the so-called “mortal” lullabies – songs with a wish for the imminent death of the baby, the image of his funeral. If in the “mortal” lullabies death was replaced by sleep, then in the story “I want to sleep” the young nurse replaced the baby's sleep with his death, setting such an incredibly high price for the opportunity to sleep soundly. It is suggested that the “mortal” lullabies, having arisen as a magical act of deceiving death, were distributed, supported among hired nannies, responding to their soulful requests. On the other hand, it is concluded that the descriptions of funerals and commemorations are smoothly logically and poetically summed up by adult threats addressed to a child, including deadly ones. A modern parody version of the “scary” lullaby is presented. The analysis once again confirms the special, implicit folklorism as a property of the poetics of the writer's creativity. Chekhov's story is presented as an artistic imitation of an unsuccessful lullaby.","PeriodicalId":228573,"journal":{"name":"Proceedings of Southern Federal University. Today it seems relevant to consider the sounds, noises, musical fragments of the drama, recorded by the author in the remarks and text, constituting an integral part with the semantic field of the drama. This article shows that the sound concept of the play was carefully thought out by Chekhov in relation to the images he created and the events unfolding in the play – for each act and the play as a whole, and therefore the sound palette of the drama is its integral part and should be read by the directors as part of the author's intention. Examples of sound design of several significant performances in the history of the world theater of different years staged by K.S. Stanislavsky, Vl.I. Nemirovich-Danchenko, A.V. supplementing the article, actualize attention to the sound palette of the play and expand the possibilities of interpreting the Chekhov’s play.","PeriodicalId":228573,"journal":{"name":"Proceedings of Southern Federal University.
