It is obvious that the choice of one or another onym as a nomination of a character is always determined directly by the author's associations associated with this or that name. It was revealed that the name is one of the ways to recognize the hero, since it indicates belonging to a specific time, historical events, and society. The anthroponymicon of A. Represented by verbs and verbal word combinations they are divided into simple and complex units. Besides, they can interact with other signs in the utterance, namely, with the sings, indicating the participants of the situation with the pandemic and the resources, used to fight against it. The results of the research show that in the pandemic discourse these signs name activities, which relate to diagnosing and registering the cases of infection and death, developing new methods of treatment, detection and prevention, controlling the epidemiological situation and imposing security measures, as well as people’s existence during the pandemic, self-isolation and social distancing, the spreading of epidemic and its impact on human health and economy. The semantic variability and functional potential enable these signs not only to inform the readership, but also influence the recipients of the information and shape their opinion on the situation which makes these signs the powerful means of persuasion. Thus, the language signs, which denote actions and processes, play the significant role in the pandemic discourse of English media, being one of its main constituent features.","PeriodicalId":228573,"journal":{"name":"Proceedings of Southern Federal University. The thesis about the vanguard role of the local Bolshevik press in the political arena in these crisis conditions, prevalent in the overwhelming majority of historical and journalistic studies of the Soviet period, does not correspond to reality. The concept that sheds light on the fact that during the February and October revolutions the Bolsheviks used local liberal and enlightenment publications more pragmatically to promote their ideas and established a monopoly over the press in the post-October period is relevant at the present stage. In the story \"Forgot!!\" the experience of representing the pathological state of memory is implemented. The story was written by a medical student under the influence of university courses in psychiatry. Artistic amnesia is a conditional image of the disease to create a humorous mood. In the story \"At Acquaintances\", the ability to remember, to live in the past or in the present becomes one of the markers of the characters, a characteristic of their various axiologies. The story \"Bishop\" is the creative testament of the writer in prose. The problem of memory is interpreted as a space created by the poles of binary oppositions. The end of the life of the title character is associated with the fading of his memory. The conceptual-figurative concept is one of the units that fill the figurative-semantic system of the author. Its function in an autobiographical work is considered as a way of transmitting the author's consciousness, which is an organizing center that has a multi-level structure and a complex content of an artistic work. The role of the conceptual and figurative concept in the formation of the semantic center of the work is determined. The conceptual-figurative concept in an artistic autobiographical text is understood as a verbalized value-significant mental unit of an individual author's picture of the world. This article analyzes the representations of linguistic and cultural identity and collective memory within the framework of the Spanish-language song discourse of different periods of time, which allows us to trace and comprehend whether the symbolic load and the national-cultural specifics of the products of song discourse have changed over time. The thinking and perception of meanings, especially by the younger generation, also begin to change noticeably. In this regard, the communication of an individual with a literary text presented in digital format deserves more attention. The purpose of the study is to create a model of learning to read this type of text, taking into account the features of a literary hypertext, which will optimize the process of learning to read a literary text in a foreign language. As an example of methodical processing of an autonomous educational hypertext, an excerpt from the story \"Scar\" by E. Grishkovets was used. In the process of developing a model for teaching foreigners to read literary hypertext, the following methods were used: analytical (linguocultural and linguocognitive analysis), interpretation method and modeling. In the study were compared such concepts as “literary text”, “hypertext”, “electronic hypertext” and “educational fiction text”. Literary hypertext is a traditional text, but it is organized in a different way than a linear text, so when it is perceived, specific perception mechanisms operate. The definition of educational literary hypertext in the aspect of teaching Russian as a foreign language is given; the linguodidactic potential of hypertext in relation to the teaching of Russian as a foreign language is revealed, the algorithm for working with Russian-language literary hypertext in a foreign audience is substantiated. It is assumed that educational hypertext as a new way of artistic communication can exist in two forms: network hypertext and autonomous hypertext. It is concluded that a methodically processed literary text, presented as a hypertext, makes it possible to optimize the process of teaching foreign students to read literary works in Russian.
