This result was because the Chinese government effectively implemented a cotton production increase policy through the planned economic system. \u0000In addition, few imports were made because cotton products were produced enough to meet domestic demand. Rather, by exporting cotton products that exceed domestic demand, food and facilities could be imported as export price. \u0000As a result, the China’s cotton textile industry has become a leading export industry. It contributed to economic growth by acquiring foreign currency through the export of cotton products and helping to solve the problem of foreign currency shortage in the early stages of economic development. \u0000Compared to the case of Korea, Korea and China showed different patterns in the external trade of raw cotton and cotton products, but their roles in the economy were similar. \u0000In conclusion, the China’s cotton textile industry increased production by importing raw cotton, which was insufficient through external transactions, and it can be said that it contributed to the development of the cotton textile industry and the development of the Chinese economy by exporting cotton products.","PeriodicalId":194082,"journal":{"name":"Korea Association for International Commerce and Information","volume":"8 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-12-31","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"123148119","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

It is because participating nations to this free trade system strive themselves to industrialize while relatively neglecting animal protection. As a matter of fact, not a few trade dispute cases under the GATT and WTO are criticized as their outcomes are considered to show the inclination in favors of economic than animal well-being. Entering into the 21st century, the EU begins leading the voices on enhancing interest in animal welfare from the international trade system. Failing its attempts in the multilateral stage, it turns its strategy into the regional trade system. Recently, mega-FTAs like the CPTPP and USMCA also make similar steps forward, and combining with the aforementioned EU FTA regulations, international trade system gradually but finally pays meaningful attention to the animal welfare, and ultimately the issues of sustainable development.","PeriodicalId":194082,"journal":{"name":"Korea Association for International Commerce and Information","volume":"26 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-12-31","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"125757009","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In particular, through the development of information and communication technology, all industries are attempting digital transformation and establishing a new economic system. Recently, the agricultural sector is facing the challenge of strengthening export competitiveness beyond food security in each country. Amid these changes, the emergence of digital agriculture has emerged as an alternative to creating new opportunities in the global market through agriculture. \u0000This study analyzed the impact of determinants for domestic digital agriculture transition on agricultural exports and presented implications. The analysis model was set as the export supply function, and the actual economic growth rate, including the relative price of export products, and the public R&D intensity, including public R&D expenses, and the number of professional researchers were selected as determinants for the digital transformation of the agricultural sector. Looking at the analysis results, the export relative price index generally used in the export supply function was analyzed to have a positive (+) effect, but the real economic growth rate, a substitute variable for domestic demand pressure, did not show statistically significant results. In addition, among the determinants of digital agriculture, R&D costs and intensity were analyzed to have a positive effect on agricultural exports, but the number of professionals did not produce statistically significant results. Summarizing the analysis results, it is understood that the expansion of R&D and investment for digital agriculture has a direct impact on agricultural exports, and the need for active investment and development in creating a digital agricultural foundation in the domestic agricultural sector in the future.","PeriodicalId":194082,"journal":{"name":"Korea Association for International Commerce and Information","volume":"59 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-12-31","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"121694182","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The four major entertainment companies listed in Korea are SM, JYP, YG, and HYBE, and they have achieved great growth in the stock market due to their great popularity on the international stage. However, the stock price of entertainment carries a risk that is very sensitive to the private actions of the entertainers belonging to it. In this study, a case study was conducted to investigate how the actions of entertainers belonging to major entertainment companies listed on the domestic stock market affect the stock price of the company. The results of the study show that major events of a celebrity not only have an immediate impact on the stock price of the company, but also have a partial impact on the industry. These results are consistent with the efficient market hypothesis, and at the same time, it can be seen that the transfer effect within the industry is also partially exhibited. This study is meaningful in that it shows that the risks posed by the private actions of the affiliated entertainers must be accurately reflected in evaluating the stock prices of domestic entertainment companies.","PeriodicalId":194082,"journal":{"name":"Korea Association for International Commerce and Information","volume":"9 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-12-31","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"123191509","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The purpose of this study is to analyze cooperative innovation cases and present implications for overseas companies that have succeeded in innovation based on Ron Adner's wide lens theory (2012). Through this study, we present insights that companies should think deeply about not only their own innovations, but also joint innovations with innovation ecosystem partners, and make integrated joint efforts. Through the case of overseas companies, it can be confirmed that not only the innovation efforts and development of the company itself, but also the importance of the value chain and innovation partners and the formation of a joint front are important factors. It is presented by dividing it into three areas of wide lens theory. The implications are as follows. First, for a company's own innovation, it is necessary to structure the company culture and organization that are not afraid of failure. Second, to strengthen joint innovation, building positive and cooperative relationships with partner research institutes is of paramount importance, such as Pfizer's vaccine development case. Third, it is necessary to find partnership opportunities and establish strategic convergence that develops in order to strengthen value chain innovation.","PeriodicalId":194082,"journal":{"name":"Korea Association for International Commerce and Information","volume":"14 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-12-31","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"117328468","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
