Vitamin C and beta carotene were shown to be good sources of antioxidants that fight free radicals. This study used the DPPH (2,2-Dipheny-1-Picrylh Hydrazyl) technique to determine the antioxidant process of Pepino (Solanum muricatum) ethanol extract and created a peel-off gel mask as cosmetics with concentrations of 2 %, 4 %, and 6 %. Plastics are obtained by mixing starch with cellulose derived from banana stems (Musa paradisiaca) and other biopolymers. This study aims to utilize kepok banana stems as raw material for the manufacture of biodegradable plastics with varying concentrations of cellulose. This experimental research was carried out by formulating the content of biodegradable plastic in three variations of cellulose concentration, F1 (100,000 ppm), F2 (150,000 ppm), and F3 (200,000 ppm) and then carried out characteristic tests including organoleptic tests, morphological tests, cluster testsfunction and mechanical properties of plastics which include tensile tests, swelling tests, and biodegradation tests using appropriate tools and methods. Results are processed based on qualitative and quantitative data with certain formulas. The result is that kepok banana stems can be made as raw material for making biodegradable plastic. biodegradable plastics from cellulose and starch of banana stems kepok have different organoleptic characteristics in terms of color, namely plastic F1 is whiter, smoother, and flexible than F2 and F3, morphological characteristics with SEM show that the density of cellulose in F1 is rare and doesnot accumulate compared F2 and F3 and the functional group test of the compounds looked the same results of the plastic mechanical test showed that all plastics not eligible the SNI requirements for the tensile test, 24.7-302 MPa, but F1 and F2 eligible for the elongation percentage, 21-220%, F2 and F3 plastics eligible swelling test requirements, maximum of 99%, and biodegradability test showsThe three plastic formulas can decompose in a fast time, starting from the 5th day to the 32nd day. Merr. & L.M. Perry) is quite high and has the potential to be used as an antibacterial. The purpose of this study was to analyze the antibacterial effectiveness of guava leaf extract against the growth of Escherichia Coli and Streptococcus Mutans. White guava leaves (Syzygium malaccense(L.) Merr. & L.M. Perry) were macerated with 96% ethanol. The test method used agar diffusion with 5 groups, namely negative control Na.CMC, concentrations of 2%, 4%, and 6%, and positive control Ciprofloxacin. The samples used were Escherichia Coli and Streptococcus Mutans. The inhibition obtained against Escherichia Coli at a concentration of 2% was 12.3 mm, the concentration of 4% was 14.3 mm, the concentration of 6% was 18.67 mm, while the positive control was 23 mm and the negative control was with Na.CMC no visible obstacle zone. While the results obtained by Streptococcus Mutans at a concentration of 2% was 8.67 mm, the concentration of 4% was 11.67 mm, the concentration of 6% was 16.3 mm, while the positive control was 31 mm and the negative control did not show any inhibition areas. so it can be concluded that Guava Leaf Extract (Syzygium malaccense(L.) Merr. & LM Perry) at concentrations of 2%, 4%, 6% had activity against the growth of Escherichia Coli and Streptococcus Mutans (p < 0.005) but its effectiveness was still below Ciprofloxacin. This combination is necessary because the nature of the collagen can regenerate cells and the active substance in bidara leaf extract is also efficacious as an anti-inflammatory so that the combination of Both are able to accelerate the healing of burns. The research was carried out using an experimental method by making 3 formulations of gel preparations with different concentrations of 0.3%, 0.6%, and 0.9% dry collagen, while the concentration of the dried Chinese bidara leaf extract was the same 5% for each formula, with hydroxyl variations. ethyl cellulose 1%, 1.25%, and 1.5%. Furthermore, the physical stability test of the gel before and after accelerated storage was carried out including organoleptic tests, homogeneity, pH, viscosity, and syneresis tests were then carried out in vitro tests to see the activity of milkfish scale collagen (Chanos chanos) combined with ethanol extract of bidara leaves (Ziziphus jujuba) on the healing of burns in rabbits. From the research, it was found that the three gel formulas had good gel physical stability before and after storage. In the homogeneity and organoleptic test, it looks homogeneous, transparent brownish yellow with a characteristic odor. pH value already according to the SNI standard (4.57.8), the viscosity is in the range (2000-50.000 cps). The highest syneresis test was 9.35% in formula 1. Various studies on the pharmacological activity of dragon fruit have been widely done. The pharmacological activity of dragon fruit certainly can't be apart from its bioactive contents. Some studies show that bioactive compounds such as vitamin C are higher in the peel than in the flesh of the fruit, as well as the antioxidant activity in the peel is better than in the flesh. This study aims to determine the antioxidant activity and vitamin C content of fresh dragon fruit peel. The method used in determining the antioxidant activity is by using 1,1-diphenyl-2-picrylhydrazyl (DDPH) reagent, the absorbance of the reactan was then measured by the UV-Vis spectrophotometer to determined the IC50 value. Determining vitamin C contents was also done using a UV-Vis spectrophotometer. The results indicated that the antioxidant activity of fresh dragon fruit peel was 140.12 ± 5.76 mg / ml and vitamin C levels were 252 mg in 100 grams of dragon fruit peel. One of the diseases that disrupt liver function with a high prevalence is NAFLD (Non Alcoholic Fatty Liver Disease). NAFLD is characterized by increased intracellular triglyceride accumulation. Increased lipid peroxidation can lead to Non Alcoholic Steato Hepatitis (NASH) and cirrhosis which induces proinflammatory cytokines. Alpha lipoic acid (ALA) is an antioxidant that has been widely used in treating metabolic syndrome. Based on several previous studies. ALA may be useful for the treatment of NAFLD by targeting various pathways in the development of NAFLD. The study divided animals into five groups as standard feed; high fat diet (HFD); HFD and ALA 100 mg/kg BW i.p .; HFD and ALA 100 mg/kg BW i.p also repaired fed; HFD and repaired – fed.
