One of the risk intravenous drug administration is incompatibility between the drugs given. In connection with the safe use of intravenous drugs, health workers in hospitals are required to have more skills and knowledge. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between age, education and length of work on the knowledge of health workers about the incompatibility of intravenous preparations. The research was conducted in the form of analytic observation with a cross-sectional approach. The location of the research is located at Hospital X Malang. The data collection instrument was in the form of a questionnaire through the google form media. Spearman correlation test used for data analysis. There are 79 respondents according to the inclusion criteria of the study. The results of the analysis of the relationship between age and knowledge level showed a significance value of 0.777 and r = -0.32. The results of the analysis of the relationship between education level and knowledge level showed a significance value of 0.530 and r = -0.72. The results of the analysis of the relationship between length of work and knowledge level showed a significance value of 0.639 and r = -0.54. The results of this study concluded that there was no correlation between age, education and length of work with the knowledge of health workers about the incompatibility of intravenous preparations at Hospital X Malang.Keywords : Age, education, length of work, knowledge, intravenous incompatibilitiesPemberian obat intravena di Rumah Sakit X Malang umum dilakukan. Salah satu risiko dari pemberian obat intravena adalah inkompatibilitas antara obat yang diberikan. Sehubungan dengan penggunaan obat intravena yang aman, tenaga kesehatan di Rumah Sakit dituntut mempunyai keterampilan dan pengetahuan yang lebih. Tujuan penelitian yang dilakukan guna mengetahui hubungan usia, pendidikan dan lama bekerja dengan pengetahuan tenaga kesehatan tentang inkompatibilitas sediaan intravena. Penelitian yang dilakukan berupa observasi analitik dengan pendekatan cross-sectional. Lokasi penelitian yang dilakukan bertempat di Rumah Sakit X Malang. Instrumen pengumpulan data berupa kuisioner melalui media google form. Pengujian korelasi Spearman yang digunakan untuk analisis data. Terdapat 79 responden yang sesuai dengan kriteria inklusi penelitian. Hasil analisis hubungan usia dengan tingkat pengetahuan menunjukkan nilai signifikansi sebesar 0,777 dan r = -0,32. Hasil analisis hubungan tingkat pendidikan dengan tingkat pengetahuan menunjukkan nilai signifikansi sebesar 0,530 dan r = -0,72. This study aims to formulate facial gel preparations from African leaf extracts to determine the stability of the physical quality of the preparations. African leaves are extracted using the maceratio method and then formulated into a facial gel made in three variations of the formula. Three gel formulas made with different carbopol concentrations are 0.5%, 1%, 2%. Physical quality testing of facial gel preparations is performed before and after the accelerated stability test (freeze thaw), including organoleptics, homogeneity tests, syneresis tests, pH tests, scatterpower tests and viscosity tests. Tarakan is one of the cities in the province of North Kalimantan. Based on the results of the 2018 Riskesdas, the highest prevalence of coronary heart disease (CHD) is in the province of North Kalimantan. Cardiac catheterization laboratory facilities are not yet available, so fibrinolytic therapy is still the first line of reperfusion therapy for STEMI. This research is aimed at analyzing fibrinolytics administration at “X” Hospital in Tarakan. This is descriptive retrospective research to examine fibrinolytics administration in 39 in-patients with STEMI at “X” Hospital in Tarakan, on January 2017-December 2018. The fibrinolytic agents used were fibrin-specific and non-fibrin-specific. Alteplase was administered to 13 patients (33.33%). Alteplase was administered in three dosages, i.e., 15 mg administered in a bolus in the early stage, 50 mg administered by an intravenous infusion for 30 minutes, and 35 mg administered for 60 minutes. 26 patients (66.66%) were administered Streptokinase. Streptokinase was intravenously administered at 1.5 million IU in 100 mL of salt solution for 30-60 minutes. Rusli","doi":"10.32382/mf.v17i2.2305","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.32382/mf.v17i2.2305","url":null,"abstract":"Arabica coffee (Coffea arabica L.) is a type of coffee that is very popular with the public, usually consumed in the form of a drink by brewing coffee grounds where the content of saponins, phenols, chlorogenic acid, mangiferin and flavonoids shows the presence of antioxidant activity that is needed to fight free radicals. Coffee connoisseurs can choose coffee processing methods to obtain high antioxidants. This study aims to determine the antioxidant activity of Arabica coffee processed with an espresso machine and manual brew pour over V60. The design of this study was a laboratory observation study using the DPPH (1,1-diphenyl-2-picrylhydrazyl) method. Antioxidant activity was determined by comparing the IC50 values. The results showed that the highest % inhibition of each filtrate based on espresso machine processing and manual brew pour over v60 was 73.750% and 77.632%, respectively. The IC50 values for espresso and manual brew filtrates were 324,289 ppm and 447.352 ppm, respectively. As for ascorbic acid as a comparison, the inhibition percentage was 79.585% with an IC50 value of 6.185 ppm. With this it can be concluded that the highest antioxidant activity is found in coffee filtrate processed with an espresso machine, but both coffee bean filtrates have very weak antioxidant activity because they are in the range > 200 ppm.Keywords: Antioxidant, arabica coffeeKopi arabika (Coffea arabica L.) merupakan jenis kopi yang sangat digemari masyarakat, biasanya dikonsumsi dalam bentuk minuman dengan menyeduh bubuk kopidimana kandungan senyawa saponin, fenol, asam klorogenat, mangiferin dan flavonoid menunjukan adanya aktivitas antioksidan yang sangat diperlukan untuk melawan radikal bebas. Penikmat kopi bisa memilih metode pengolahan kopi untuk memperoleh antioksidan yang tinggi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui aktivitas antioksidan kopi arabika yang diolah dengan mesin espresso dan manual brew pour over V60. Desain penelitian ini adalah penelitian observasi laboratorium menggunakan metode DPPH (1,1-diphenyl-2-picrylhydrazyl). Aktivitas antioksidan ditentukan dengan membandingkan nilai IC50nya. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan %inhibisi tertinggi masing-masing filtrat berdasarkan pengolahan mesin espresso dan manual brew pour over v60 yaitu sebesar 73,750% dan 77,632%. Nilai IC50 filtrat espresso dan manual brew adalah 324,289 ppm dan 447,352 ppm. Sedangkan untuk asam askorbat sebagai pembanding %inhibisinya yaitu 79,585% dengan nilai IC50 6,185 ppm. Therefore, a study was conducted to determine the decrease in blood glucose and the increase in the number of pancreatic beta cells. Modeling diabetes mellitus using alloxan-induced wistar rats. Rats were divided into 3 treatment groups, namely negative control group (Aquades), treatment group (Pleurotus ostreatus ethanol extract 1000 mg/kgbw) and positive control (glibenclamide 5 mg/kgbbw). Blood glucose levels were taken on day 0 and 15 and pancreatic beta cells were observed. The results showed that the average blood glucose level when induced by alloxan and after the 15th day, the ethanol extract of Pleurotus ostreatus decreased significantly (p˂0.05) compared to the negative control. This is because many of the active substances are found in nature, especially in plants, have many substances that can interrupt abnormal growth cells. The Polygala paniculata herbs have become a concern to be developed into potential anticancer candidates originating from nature. This study aims to take measurements of the Polygala paniculata L. ethanolic extract cytotoxic activity on WiDr cancer cells based on IC50 values. Absolute ethanol was used as a solvent to extracting it by maceration method. The Polygala paniculata L. herbs ethanol extract were carried for the cytotoxic assay by the MTT method (3(4,5-dimethylthiazol-2il) -2,5-diphenyl tetrazolium bromide) on WiDr cells. The extract was tested with a concentration of 31.25 μg / ml; 62.5 μg / ml; and 125 μg / ml; 250 μg / ml; 500 μg / ml. The result of cytotoxic activity assay at IC50 80,52 μg / ml was less than 100 ppm. Flavonoid di dalam buah leunca sebagian besar berupa kuersetin dan turunan glikosidanya. Kuersetin bersifat polar dan dapat dianalisis menggunakan kromatografi cair kinerja tinggi (KCKT). Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengembangkan metode penetapan kadar kuersetin menggunakan KCKT dan mengaplikasikan metode pada ekstrak etanol buah leunca. Buah leunca diekstraksi dengan pelarut etanol 96% secara metode maserasi dan dipekatkan menggunakan evaporator putar. Sistem KCKT yang digunakan adalah tipe Jazco dengan detektor UV-Vis pada panjang gelombang 370 nm. Fase diam yang digunakan adalah C18, fase gerak berupa campuran akuabides: metanol (41 : 59, v/v) dengan laju alir 1 mL/menit. Validasi metode penetapan kadar meliputi parameter linearitas, sensitivitas, selektivitas, presisi dan akurasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa metode penetapan kadar kuersetin tervalidasi dengan semua parameter memenuhi persyaratan. Uji linieritas menghasilkan nilai korelasi (r) = 0,99954, batas deteksi sebesar 0,355 μg/mL dan batas kuantitasi sebesar 1,185 μg/mL, selektivitas baik, presisi menghasilkan RSD kurang dari 2% dan akurasi menghasilkan perolehan kembali pada rentang 100,102-100,150%.
