The Polygala paniculata L. herbs ethanol extract were carried for the cytotoxic assay by the MTT method (3(4,5-dimethylthiazol-2il) -2,5-diphenyl tetrazolium bromide) on WiDr cells. The extract was tested with a concentration of 31.25 μg / ml; 62.5 μg / ml; and 125 μg / ml; 250 μg / ml; 500 μg / ml. The result of cytotoxic activity assay at IC50 80,52 μg / ml was less than 100 ppm. Abstract

The development of cancer treatment using natural ingredients has recently increased. This is because many of the active substances are found in nature, especially in plants, have many substances that can interrupt abnormal growth cells.
