This study aims to determine the antioxidant activity and vitamin C content of fresh dragon fruit peel. The method used in determining the antioxidant activity is by using 1,1-diphenyl-2-picrylhydrazyl (DDPH) reagent, the absorbance of the reactan was then measured by the UV-Vis spectrophotometer to determined the IC50 value. Determining vitamin C contents was also done using a UV-Vis spectrophotometer. The results indicated that the antioxidant activity of fresh dragon fruit peel was 140.12 ± 5.76 mg / ml and vitamin C levels were 252 mg in 100 grams of dragon fruit peel. 摘要
