This research a ims to determine the \"SPF\" value of the lotion containing a combination of moringa leaf extract an d bangle rhizome. The samples were extracted using the maceration method . Thereafter , a lotion was made with various concentrations of moringa leaf extract and bangle rhizome with a ratio of 0: 10, 10%: 0, 7.5: 2.5, 5% , : 5 , 2.5 , and 7.5%. Physical quality test was carried out before and after the accelerated test which includes Organoleptic, Homogeneity, pH and Viscosity. Furthermore, the SPF value was obtained using a UV-Visible Spectrophotometer with a wavelength of 290 - 320 nm. The results showed that the sunscreen lotion met the physical quality requirements with a pH value of 5.6 - 6.5, viscosity of 32.100 - 49.050 cp. Therefore, the \"SPF\" value for sunscreen lotion containing 7.5% Moringa leaf extract and 25% Bangle rhizome had the greatest activity reaching 21.86 (Ultra protection). Perkembangan tabir surya dengan bahan alam i lebih gampang di terima oleh kalangan masyarakat sehingga perlu dikembangan Lotion tabir Surya dari Bahan Alam seperti kombinasi Daun Kelor dan Rimpang Bangle . Tujuan penelitian ini m engetahui n ilai “ SPF ” sediaan Lotion y ang mengandung ekstrak daun kelor kombinasi ekstrak Rimpang bangle. Sampel daun kelor dan rimpang bangle diekstraksi dengan metode maserasi, kemudian dibuat Lotion dengan variasi pada k onsentrasi Ekstrak daun kelor dan Rimpang Bangle dengan perbandingan 0 : 10% , 10% : 0 , 7,5% : 2,5%, 5% : 5% dan 2,5% : 7,5% . P engujian mutu fisik dilakukan sebelum dan sesudah uji dipercepat meliputi Organoleptis, Homogen itas , pH dan Viskositas. Serta Pengujian Nilai SPF menggunakan Spektrofotometer UV-Vis ibel dengan panjang gelombang 290 – 320 nm. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan sediaan lotion tabir surya mem e nuhi syarat mutu fisik dengan nilai pH diperoleh 5,6 – 6,5 , Viskositas 32.100 – 49.050 cp serta Nilai “ SPF ” Sediaan lotion tabir surya yang mengandung ekstrak daun kelor 7,5% dengan Ekstrak rimpang bangle 25 % memilki aktivitas terbesar mencapai 21,86 (proteksi Ultra). Meanwhile, patients with hypertension are at high risk for potential drug interactions due to the large number and types of drugs consumed. Therefore, this research aims to determine the potential for drug interactions in hypertensive patients at one of the Makassar City General Hospitals. It also analyzed the factors with the most significant effect on the potential for drug interactions. Furthermore, this is a descriptive-analytic research with a cross-sectional approach. The sample were determined using a consecutive sampling technique and the research was conducted between March-June 2020. In addition, the potential drug interactions were identified using Micromedex 2.0 software and Handbook of Drug Interaction Fact . Analysis of the factors with the most influence on potential for drug interactions was performed using multiple logistic regression statistical tests. The results showed that the number of drugs prescribed had a significant influence on the potential for drug interactions with p = 0.023, OR = 11.676 (9% CI 1.401-97.322). Based on the results, the number of drugs prescribed is the most influential factor in the potential for drug interactions. Pasien dengan hipertensi beresiko tinggi terhadap potensi kejadian interaksi obat-obat disebabkan karena banyaknya jumlah dan jenis obat yang mereka terima. Tujuan dari penelitian adalah untuk menentukan potensi interaksi obat pada pasien hipertensi di RSU X Kota Makassar dan menganalisis faktor yang paling berpengaruh terhadap potensi interaksi obat. Penelitian merupakan deskriptik analitik dengan pendekatan cross-sectional study . Penentuan sampel menggunaan teknik consequtive sampling. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di RSU X Kota Makassar selama periode Maret-Juni 2020. Identifikasi potensi interaksi obat dilakukan dengan menggunakan Micromedex 2,0 software dan Handbook of Drug Interaction Fact . Analisis faktor yang paling berpengaruh terhadap potensi interaksi obat dilakukan dengan uji statistik regresi logistik ganda. Hasil penelitian ini menemukan faktor jumlah obat yang diresepkan memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap potensi interaksi obat dengan p=0,023,OR=11,676 (IK 9%1,401-97,322). Hasil penelitian menyimpulkan jumlah obat yang diresepkan merupakan faktor yang paling berpengaruh terhadap potensi interaksi obat. However, microemulsion increases the stability of the preparation. Meanwhile, the combination of surfactant tween 80 and PEG 400 is known to improve the stability of the microemulsion. Therefore, this research aims to examine the physical stability and antioxidants of nutmeg oil microemulsion with variations of tween 80 and PEG 400 as surfactants and cosurfactants. The nutmeg oil microemulsion was prepared with a oil concentration of 5% with variations of surfactants and cosurfactants Tween 80 and PEG 400, namely F1 (7: 6), F2 (8: 6), F3 (9: 6), F4 (10: 6). ) and F5 (12: 6). Furthermore, the physical stability test was performed using the cycling test method for 6 cycles at temperatures of 40 ± 2 oC and 4 ± 2 oC while the parameters observed included organoleptic and homogeneity, phase separation, droplet size, viscosity, and pH. Meanwhile, the major antioxidant parameter observed was the percentage of inhibition. The physical stability and antioxidant results were analyzed using the t-dependent test to compare the data before and after the cycling test. The results showed that all the microemulsion formulas were clear, pale yellow in color, oily and watery in texture and there was no phase separation after the cycle test was carried out. In addition, the droplet sizes of all formulas were between 33 to 125 nm, while the viscosity ranged from 68 to 73 cps and the pH is suitable for topical preparations. All physical parameters did not change significantly after the cycling test (p> 0.05), meanwhile, the antioxidant stability test showed that there was no significant difference in percent inhibition (p> 0.05) which ranged from 64 to 68%. Therefore, based on the results, the nutmeg oil microemulsion has strong antioxidant activity. Mikroemulsi dapat meningkatkan stabilitas sediaan. Kombinasi surfaktan tween 80 dan PEG 400 dapat meningkatkan stabilitas mikroemulsi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melakukan formulasi dan uji stabilitas fisik serta antioksidan mikroemulsi minyak biji pala dengan variasi tween 80 dan PEG 400 sebagai surfaktan dan kosurfaktan. Mikroemulsi minyak biji pala dibuat dengan konsentrasi minyak biji pala sebesar 5% dengan variasi surfaktan dan kosurfaktan tween 80 dan PEG 400 yaitu F1 (7:6), F2 (8:6), F3 (9:6), F4 (10:6) dan F5 (12:6). Meanwhile, cocoa contains a higher total phenolic content compared to wine or tea. Based on the chemical content on the pods, it is assumed that cocoa plant has antioxidant activity. Therefore, this research aims to determine the antioxidant compounds and total phenolic levels among the various parts of cocoa plant. The antioxidant compounds were tested using 1,1diphenyl-2-picrylhydrazyl (DPPH) method, while the total Phenolic test was performed on the barks, leaves, seeds, pulps, and fresh yellow cocoa pods using UV-vis spectrophotometry ( modified Makkar et.al method). The results showed that the total phenolic levels were as follows; seeds (5.20 mg / g), leaves (1.22 mg / g), bark (1.16 mg / g), fruit skins (0.25 mg / g). ), pulp (0.15 mg / g). Meanwhile, the antioxidant levels were as follows; fruit flesh (35.48%), seeds (12.58%), fruit skins (9.60%), leaves (5.74%), bark (0.39%). Based onthe results, the highest total phenolic content was in seeds (5.20 mg / g), while the highest level of antioxidant activity was 35.48%, namely in the fruit flesh. Berdasarkan kandungan senyawa kimia pada kulit buah kakao, maka dapat diduga bahwa tanaman kakao memiliki aktivitas antioksidan. Metode yang digunakan untuk uji senyawa antioksidan dengan menggunakan 1,1diphenyl-2-picrylhydrazyl (DPPH) dan uji Total Phenolik pada kulit batang, daun, biji, daging buah, dan kulit buah kakao berwarna kuning segar dengan menggunakan spektrofotometri uv-vis (metode Makkar et.al yang telah dimodifikasi). Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk melihat kadar senyawa antioksidan serta kadar Total Phenolik yang tertinggi pada antar bagian dari tanaman kakao. Hasil dari penelitian untuk kadar total phenolik sebagai berikut pada biji (5,20 mg/g), daun (1,22 mg/g), kulit batang (1,16 mg/g), kulit buah (0,25 mg/g), daging buah (0,15 mg/g); dan untuk kadar antioksidan sebagai berikut pada daging buah (35,48 %), biji (12,58 %), kulit buah (9,60 %), daun (5,74 %), kulit batang (0,39 %). Kesimpulan kadar total phenolik yang tertinggi adalah pada biji (5,20 mg/g), dan kadar aktivitas antioksidan tertinggi adalah sebesar 35,48% yaitu pada daging buah. Ethanol Extract And Secang Wood (Caesalpinia sappan Linn.). Extract standardization is a parameter used to ensure the safety and quality of extracts before being developed into pharmaceutical preparations. Meanwhile, Buas buas leaves ( Premna serrativeolia Linn.) are useful for treating gastric disorders, carminatives, hemorrhoids, diuretics, fever, constipation, shortness of breath, and also as anti-inflammatory expectorants, antioxidants, antimicrobials, and anticoagulants. Furthermore,secang wood ( Caesalpinia sappan Linn.) is widely known as a nutritious herbal drink. This research aims to determine extracts standardization including specific parameters (organoleptic and phytochemical screening) and non-specific (drying losses). The multilevel maceration with n-hexane and ethanol solvents extraction method was used. The results showed that the percentage of drying shrinkage in the ethanol extract of buas-buas leaves and secang wood was 18.99% ± 0.60 and 15.27% ± 1.46 respectively. Moreover, the ethanol extract of buas-buas leaves has a thick shape, blackish-brown in color, has a distinctive aromatic odor, while secang wood has a thick, brownish-red color, as well as a distinctive aromatic odor. The Buas buas leaves extract contains flavonoids, phenolics, tannins, saponins, and terpenoids, while secang wood contains only flavonoids, tannins, and terpenoids. Standarisasi ekstrak merupakan parameter untuk menjamin keamanan dan kualitas ekstrak sebelum dikembangkan menjadi sediaan farmasi. Daun buas-buas ( Premna serratifolia Linn.) berkhasiat sebagai mengobati gangguan lambung, karminatif, diuretik, demam, sesak nafas, ekspektoran antiinflamasi, antioksidan, antimikroba, sembelit, ambeien, dan antikoagulan. Kayu secang ( Caesalpinia sappan Linn.) dikenal sebagai minuman herbal yang berkhasiat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui standarisasi ekstrak meliputi parameter spesifik (organoleptis dan skrining fitokimia) dan non-spesifik (susut pengeringan). Metode ekstraksi pada penelitian ini menggunakan maserasi bertingkat dengan pelarut n-heksan dan etanol. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa persentase susut pengeringan ekstrak etanol daun buas-buas sebesar 18,99% ± 0,60 dan ekstrak etanol kayu secang sebesar 15,27% ± 1,46. Ekstrak etanol daun buas-buas memiliki bentuk yang kental, berwarna coklat kehitaman, berbau aromatik khas, sedangkan ekstrak etanol kayu secang memiliki bentuk yang kental, berwarna merah kecoklatan, berbau aromatik khas. Ekstrak etanol daun buas-buas mengandung senyawa flavonoid, fenolik, tanin, saponin, terpenoid. Sementara itu, ekstrak etanol kayu secang mengandung flavonoid, tanin, dan terpenoid. Its primary utilization is still limited to the fruit as a food ingredient, such as dodol, though leaves and barks are often used as medicine. According to Santi Sinala et al. (2019), dengen leaves and bark contain large polyphenols. This study determines the sunscreen activity of the Dengen plant, specifically leaves and bark obtained from Malangke City in Luwu Regency. Also, the study aims to establish the part of the plant with great potential for sunscreen. The leaves and bark of the tree are extracted by maceration using 70% ethanol solvent. The determination of the SPF value was carried out in vitro based on the principle of measuring extraction absorption with a certain concentration at wavelengths of 290-320 nm. The ethanol extract of the bark is made with a concentration series of 100, 200, 300, 400, and 500 ppm, where 100 ppm produced an SPF value of 4,611. Furthermore, the ethanol extracts of the leaves were made in series 50, 100, 150, 200, 250 ppm, where 100 ppm produced an SPF value of 2. This study concluded that the ethanol extract of dengen bark has maximum sunscreen activity with a low concentration compared to ethanol leaves. Keywords: Dengen, Ethanol Extract, Bark, Leaves, Sunscreen Activity, SPF Value. Dengen ( Dillenia serrata ) merupakan salah tanaman endemic Indonesia yang dapat ditemukan di Kabupaten Luwu. Pemanfaatan tanaman ini masih sebatas pada bagian buahnya, yang dijadikan bahan masakan dan telah dikembangkan menjadi dodol.. Selain buah, daun dan kulit batang dengen telah digunakan masyarakat sebagai obat. Penelitian dari Santi Sinala dkk (2019) daun dan kulit batang dengen memiliki kandungan polifenol yang besar. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menentukan aktivitas tabir surya dari dua bagian tanaman Dengen yaitu daun dan kulit batang yang diperoleh dari Kota Malangke, Kab. Luwu, Sul-Sel. Dari penelitian ini nantinya akan ditentukan bagian tanaman yang memiliki potensi besar sebagai tabir surya. Daun dan kulit batang pohon dengen diekstraksi secara maserasi dengan menggunakan pelarut etanol 70%. Penentuan nilai SPF dilakukan secara in vitro dengan prinsip pengukuran serapan ekstrak dengan konsentrasi tertentu pada panjang gelombang 290 – 320 nm. Untuk ekstrak etanol kulit batang dibuat dengan seri konsentrasi 100, 200, 300, 400, 500 ppm, dimana dengan konsentrasi 100 ppm sudah menghasilkan nilai SPF 4,611. Untuk ekstrak etanol daun dibuat seri 50, 100, 150, 200, 250 ppm dimana konsentrasi 100 ppm sudah menghasilkan nilai SPF 2. This plant has been used traditionally to treat several diseases. Therefore, this study aims to provide a comprehensive overview of the phytochemical content, pharmacological effects and traditional uses of O. aristatus . The study was carried out through literature review of secondary data sources in the form of national and international scientific journals. Meanwhile, based on several studies, about 45 phytochemicals have been isolated from this plant.Pharmacological studies of extracts, fractions, essential oils, and pure compounds isolated showed the presence of gastroprotective, antioxidant, cytotoxic, diuretic, antidiabetic, antihypertensive, anti-inflammatory, antipyretic, antiobesity, antibacterial, antifungal and hepatoprotective activity. Furthermore, sinensetin, eupatorin, and rosmarinic acid are the main ingredients with significant pharmacological effects. The results showed that O. aristatus has various phytochemical compositions and pharmacological activities which potentially improve the degree of health and human life. Keywords : Orthosiphon aristatus, Sinensetin, Eupatorin, Rosmarinic Acid Orthosiphon aristatus merupakan tanaman yang banyak tumbuh di wilayah Asia Tenggara yang seperti Indonesia, Vietnam, Thailand, Malaysia, dan Australia. Khasiat tumbuhan ini telah banyak digunakan secara tradisional untuk mengobati beberapa penyakit. Tujuan dari review ini adalah memberikan tinjauan yang komprehensif tentang kandungan fitokimia, efek farmakologi, dan penggunaan O. aristatus secara tradisional. Metode penyusunan review melalui studi pustaka pada sumber data sekunder berupa jurnal ilmiah nasional dan internasional. Beberapa penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat 45 kandungan fitokimia yang diisolasi dari tanaman ini. Studi farmakologi terhadap ekstrak, fraksi, minyak esensial, dan senyawa murni yang diisolasi menunjukkan adanya aktivitas farmakologi gastroprotektif, antioksidan, sitotoksik, diuretik, antidiabetes, antihipertensi, antiinflamasi, antipiretik, antiobesitas, antibakteri, antifungi, dan hepatoprotektif. Sinensetin, eupatorin, dan asam rosmarinik merupakan kandungan utama yang memiliki banyak efek farmakologis . Meanwhile, ginger oil is used to prevent motion sickness and as an anti-vomiting agent. Therefore, this research aims to formulate roll on aromatherapy preparations from ginger oil and to determine the stability and physical quality of these preparations. Aromatherapy was formulated using ginger oil, menthol, camphor, sunflower oil, and Butyl Hydroxy Toluene (BHT) with various concentrations of 0.05, 0.1, 0.2%, and without BHT. Furthermore, physical quality evaluation was carried out before and after the accelerated stability test which includes organoleptic and peroxide numbers tests. The organoleptic test showed that the preparation was pale yellow, smelled like ginger, warm to the skin, and was homogeneous. Meanwhile, the peroxide number test showed an increase in the peroxide number after the accelerated stability test, but met the specified standards. The lowest peroxide value was found in the preparation with a concentration of 0.2% butyl hydroxy toluene, namely 6.6724 meq / kg and 7.4505 meq / kg before and after accelerated stability test respectively. The results showed that ginger essential oil can be formulated into roll on aromatherapy preparations with varying concentrations of butyl hydroxy toluene and has physical quality stability that meets the requirements. Minyak jahe digunakan untuk mencegah motion sickness dan sebagai anti muntah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memformulasikan sediaan roll on aromaterapi dari minyak jahe dan untuk mengetahui stabilitas dan mutu fisik sediaan tersebut. Aromaterapi diformulasikan dengan bahan minyak jahe, mentol, kamfer, sunflower oil, dan Butil Hidroksi Toluen (BHT) dengan variasi konsentrasi 0,05%, 0,1%,0,2%, dan tanpa BHT. Evaluasi mutu fisik dilakukan sebelum dan setelah uji stabilitas dipercepat yang meliputi pengujian organoleptis dan pengujian bilangan peroksida.Pengujian organoleptis sebelum dan setelah uji stabilitas dipercepat menunjukkan sediaan berwarna kuning pucat, berbau khas jahe, terasa hangat pada kulit, dan homogen.Pengujian bilangan peroksida menunjukkan peningkatan bilangan peroksida setelah uji stabilitas dipercepat, tetapi masih memenuhi standar yang ditentukan. Moreover, it is also used in the field of medicine due to its curcumin bioactive compounds which are useful as anti-oxidants, anti-inflammatory and neuroprotectors for dementia. Therefore, this research aims to formulate turmeric extract tablets that meets physical test standards using the wet granulation method. The extract tablet formulation was made into three formulas, namely F1, F2 and F3, where the composition of aerosol, lactose, gelatin and distilled water of the three formulas was designed based on the results of the parameters in sequence. The printed tablets were then tested using a disintegration, dual friability and hardness tester to determine the disintegration time, brittleness, hardness, as well as uniformity of weight and size. The F3 formulation with the composition of turmeric extract (15 g), aerosol (35 g), lactose (12.8 g), gelatin (0.5 g), magnesium stearate (1%) and aquadest (200 ml) fulfilled the standard physical tablet requirements. Furthermore, the results of repeated tablets (three times) obtained values namely weight (0.616 ± 0.355 mg), diameter (1.334 ± 0.280 cm), thickness (0.518 ± 0.039), friability (0.065 ± 0.074%), hardness (4.635 ± 0.234 kg)) and time destroyed (9,918 ± 4,386). Therefore, based on the results, the F3 turmeric extract tablet formulation shows the quality which meets the tablet physical test standards. Selain itu, kunyit juga dapat dimanfaatkan dalam bidang obat-obatan karena ia mengandung senyawa bioaktiv kurkumin yang bermanfaat sebagai anti oksidan, anti peradangan dan neuroprotektor untuk demensia. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memformulasikan tablet ekstrak kunyit yang memenuhi standar uji fisik dengan menggunakan metode granulasi basah. Formulasi tablet ekstrak kunyit dibuat ke dalam tiga formula yaitu F1, F2 dan F3, dimana komposisi aerosol, laktosa, gelatin dan aquades dari ketiga formula tersebut dirancang dengan mempertimbangkan hasil dari pengujian parameter tablet ekstrak kunyit secara urut. Tablet ekstrak kunyit yang telah dicetak kemudian diuji menggunakan alat disintegration tester , dual friability tester dan hardness tester untuk menentukan waktu hancur, kerapuhan, kekerasan, keseragaman bobot dan keseragaman ukuran. Tablet ekstrak kunyit pada formulasi F3 dengan komposisi ekstrak kunyit (15 g), aerosol (35 g), laktosa (12,8 g), gelatin (0.5 g), magnesium stearate (1%) dan aquadest (200 ml) memenuhi persyaratan uji fisik standar tablet. This disease requires a large cost in the management process. Therefore, this research aims to analyze the cost-effectiveness in the use of azithromycin and levofloxacin antibiotics in the treatment of COVID-19 at a General hospital in Makassar City. This is an observational cross-sectional research with a prospective data collection method (January-March 2021) and a total sampling technique. Furthermore, data were taken from medical records and part of the financial information system, including patients' characteristics data (medical record number, patient initials, age, gender), clinical data (diagnosis, swab-test results), drug use data (dosage, rules of use, and duration of drug administration), and total medical costs (healthcare perspective: drug, treatment, laboratory, and radiology costs). Moreover, the effectiveness of this study was measured by the number of patients that were declared cured (negative swab-test). The results showed that the ACER value of the levofloxacin and azithromycin antibiotic were Rp. 191,705 and Rp. 157,359 respectively. These results indicate that the azithromycin antibiotic therapy group is more cost-effective compared to the levofloxacin group. Keywords : Cost Effectiveness, COVID-19, Antibiotics . Penyakit ini membutuhkan biaya besar dalam proses penatalaksanaannya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis nilai cost-effectiveness penggunaan antibiotik azitromisin dan levofloksasin pada pengobatan COVID-19 pada salah satu Rumah Sakit Umum di Kota Makassar. Desain penelitian ini adalah observasional cross-sectional dengan pengambilan data secara prospektif (Januari-Maret 2021). Teknik pengambilan sampel pada penelitian ini adalah total sampling .
