By exploiting the concept of the time-interleaving techniques and time domain equations, a conventional 3<sup>rd</sup>-order Discrete-Time (DT) ΔΣ modulator is converted to a corresponding 3<sup>rd</sup>-order two-path DTTI counterpart. For the sake of saving power and silicon area, the integrators between the two paths of the DTTI ΔΣ modulator are shared. Using one set of integrators makes the DTTI ΔΣ modulator robust to path mismatch effects compared to the typical DTTI ΔΣ modulator which has individual integrators in all paths. A problem arises out of sharing integrators between paths which we call the delayless feedback problem. A solution for this problem is proposed in this paper and for an OverSampling Ratio (OSR) of 16 and a clock frequency of 320MHz, a maximum SNR of 76.5dB is obtained.","PeriodicalId":161929,"journal":{"name":"2017 Iranian Conference on Electrical Engineering (ICEE)","volume":"49 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2017-07-20","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"127153050","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The volume, variety and velocity of such data requires an opinion mining model to be also adopted with the ever growing and huge volume of opinions and obtaining the probabilistic generative model advantages. In this paper we propose a parallel implementation of joint sentiment and topic (JST) model for simultaneously discovering topics and sentiments from reviews on Spark. Spark is an open source and fast cluster computing framework for large-scale data processing. Here we discuss the implementation of JST on Spark and also discuss the benefit of using Spark while exploring the challenges encountered. We used different Amazon opinion datasets with different volume such as (reviews of electronic devices, book, restaurants, DVD and kitchen). The results present significant speedup and high efficiency on larger scale dataset in our experiments.","PeriodicalId":161929,"journal":{"name":"2017 Iranian Conference on Electrical Engineering (ICEE)","volume":"25 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2017-07-20","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"131493627","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The localization formula is derived from the weighted least squares minimization of the equation error. A weighting matrix is employed in each of the two steps of the proposed method, which leads to an approximate maximum likelihood (ML) estimator, to generate a substantial improvement in the performance of the method. Simulation studies show that the proposed joint TDOA/AOA location scheme outperforms the conventional AOA-only and TDOA-only methods.","PeriodicalId":161929,"journal":{"name":"2017 Iranian Conference on Electrical Engineering (ICEE)","volume":"26 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2017-05-02","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"123437089","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The method utilizes the Generalized Adler's equation to describe the locking dynamics and assumes the noise as a small signal perturbation applied to steady-state solution. An accurate analysis of the performance of a hybrid electric vehicle, as well as of its consumption and pollution level, requires a dynamic analysis of its behavior. Two kinds of simulation tools for electric and hybrid electric vehicles exist: steady state and dynamic tools. An accurate analysis of the vehicle performance requires a dynamic model that includes many components such as its electric motor, its batteries and its motor controller. The central controller of this sedan consists of I/O Board, Adapter and Microcontroller of motor drive. In a first step, the vehicle components are sized, using a power flow analysis, to meet the requirements of energy and power of a typical “Sedan vehicle”. In a second step, simulation results are presented and discussed to analysis complexity and performance.","PeriodicalId":161929,"journal":{"name":"2017 Iranian Conference on Electrical Engineering (ICEE)","volume":"67 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2017-05-02","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"114908485","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Single proof mass is employed to detect acceleration in three directions and acceleration could be measured in each axis independently. The new fully symmetrical configuration of the structure enables it to measure in plane and out plane directions by employing capacitive transduction method on a proof mass which leads to high reliable, less temperature sensitive, low drift and power accelerometer. So, it is more compatible with CMOS technology. The new comb drive configuration of electrodes eliminate the cross-axis sensitivity thoroughly. Thus, it is suitable for multi axis acceleration detection systems. The total sensing area, proof mass weight and detectable acceleration in all directions are 1.58 mm2, 12.1 µgr and 1 g, respectively. The acceleration measuring range in in plane direction (X and Y) is ±100 g and for out plane direction (Z) is ±30 g and surface micromachining method is proposed for fabrication process.","PeriodicalId":161929,"journal":{"name":"2017 Iranian Conference on Electrical Engineering (ICEE)","volume":"909 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2017-05-02","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"123268771","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In order for graphene to fulfill this promise and become a material for the large-scale manufacture of high-performance electronics, large-area, high-quality graphene on substrates amenable to electrical device operation and sensors fabrication is needed. So the purpose of this paper is to provide in detail how reduced graphene oxide suspension (100 µ g RGO/ 1ml NMP) was developed, and functionalized the back gate FETs. Following an introduction, we report a solution-based method that allows uniform and controllable deposition of reduced graphene oxide thin films ranging from a single monolayer to several layers in thicknesses between the electrodes in FET. The Raman spectrum of graphene consists of a number of peaks which are well characterized and understood. Electrical transfer property tests revealed that both of the two FETs exhibit V-shaped ambipolar field effect behavior from p-type region to n-type region. This research investigared the preparation of back gate field effect transistor with reduced graphene oxide via a low-cost manufacturing method. The reasults suggest that our method is fast, facile, and substrate independent.","PeriodicalId":161929,"journal":{"name":"2017 Iranian Conference on Electrical Engineering (ICEE)","volume":"84 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2017-05-02","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"126221817","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Efficient, high throughput and low overhead transfer of data between sub-modules in an FPGA based embedded system can be a challenging problem. Availability of soft and hard CPU cores, their related infrastructure and development tools for FPGAs, provide us with the possibility of creating a complete system on a single FPGA. Different DMA transfer techniques provide sub-modules with the possibility of high performance data transfer without CPU intervention. Focusing on Xilinx FPGA devices which contain PowerPC hard CPU core, we have performed a detailed study of a DMA transfer technique based on central management of data movements. Data transfer performance of the system is evaluated carefully in different scenarios, thus proving the effectiveness of exploiting central DMA controller in practical applications. Linux is the dominant OS in most of FPGA based embedded systems. Simplified management and utilization of central DMA transfers can become feasible by the means of suitable kernel mode drivers. We have developed required building elements of such low level driver.","PeriodicalId":161929,"journal":{"name":"2017 Iranian Conference on Electrical Engineering (ICEE)","volume":"6 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2017-05-02","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"117299621","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
