This law is then used as a reference in order to legalize all forms of revenge. This study aims to look at the Lex Talionis law from the perspective of the book of Exodus 21:22-25. The method used in this research uses literature review, which results in an understanding that the Lex Talionis law has a practical implication, especially regarding the value of legal justice that can be submitted to perpetrators of injustice through the courts so that justice will be realized as expected. The main element in the Lex Talionis law does not refer to maximum revenge efforts but instead refers to aspects of God's justice in responding to every legal case that applies to mankind. Thus the Lex Talionis law is no longer seen as a law of revenge but becomes a law of justice that allows it to be implemented in today's society. AbstrakHukum Lex Talionis umumnya dipahami sebagai sebuah bentuk hukum yang menuntut tinda-kan balas dendam secara maksimal. Melalui hukum ini kemudian dijadikan rujukan agar bisa mele-galkan semua bentuk pembalasan dendam. Kajian ini hendak melihat hukum Lex Talionis dari sudut pandang kitab Keluaran 21:22-25. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini menggunakan kajian pustaka, yang menghasilkan sebuah pemahaman bahwa hukum Lex Talionis memiliki sebuah implikasi praktis, khususnya perihal nilai keadilan hukum yang bisa diajukan kepada pelaku ketidakadilan melalui pengadilan, sehingga akan terwujud keadilan seperti yang diharapkan. Unsur utama dalam hukum Lex Talionis justru tidak menunjuk pada upaya pembalasan dendam secara maksimal, tetapi justru menunjuk pada aspek keadilan Allah dalam menanggapi setiap kasus hukum yang berlaku atas umat manusia. As an alternative concept, Ekonomi Gotong Royong offers a system based on relational and communal values where the people play roles both as the buyers and the producers, or managers, and share-holders This writing is an exploration on the possibility to apply such an alternative system by analyzing its principles, needed capitals (economic, moral, and social), main components, and example in microeconomic settings. The result shows that the system can work if the stakeholders meet three prerequisites: continuous education for mindset and skillset development, moral values awareness, and spiritual foundation.  AbstrakDalam ilmu ekonomi modern manusia seringkali menjadi homo ekonomikus, saat konsumen menjadi objek dari sistem ekonomi dan mereka berperan sebagai pembelanja saja. Pilihan lain adalah menerapkan sistem Ekonomi Gotong Royong yang berlandaskan nilai-nilai relasional dan komunitas sehingga orang banyak berperan baik sebagai pembelanja atau konsumen, produsen, dan pengelola dana serta pemegang saham.  Tulisan ini menelusuri kemungkinan mewujudkan sistem tersebut dengan meneliti prinsip-prinsip dasarnya, modal yang diperlukan baik modal moral atau nilai dan ekonomis, komponen-komponennya, dan bagaimana contoh prosesnya di dalam skala ekonomi mikro. Two methods of teaching use technology, namely asynchronous and synchronous. Asynchronous is independent learning that is not limited by time and the platform used includes YouTube, email, WhatsApp, etc., where there is no direct interaction between educators and students. While synchronous is learning that allows direct interaction at the same time between educators and students, the platforms used include google meet, zoom, video calls, etc. The composition of the use of asynchronous and synchronous use in teaching in Sunday School needs to pay attention to several things to achieve effective learning, including the content to be taught, the ability of teachers to use technology, children's learning style, and goals to be achieved, to be right on target. AbstrakAdanya pandemi Covid 19 membuat kegiatan Sekolah Minggu perlu mengadaptasi penggunaan teknologi, agar Sekolah Minggu tetap dapat melakukan pengajaran Firman Tuhan kepada anak-anak walau mereka tidak dapat pergi ke gereja. Dua cara pengajaran yang menggunakan teknologi yaitu asynchronous dan synchronous. Asynchronous merupakan pembelajaran mandiri yang tidak dibatasi waktu dan platform yang digunakan antara lain YouTube, email, Whatsapp, di mana tidak ada interaksi secara langsung antra pendidik dan peserta didik. Sedangkan synchronous merupakan pembelajaran yang memungkinkan adanya interaksi langsung antara pendidik dan peserta didik pada waktu yang sama, platform yang dipakai antara lain, google meet, zoom, video call. The conclusion of this study resulted in the idea that reading of the Old Testament texts, especially those related to messianic themes, does not always have to be understood through reading the New Testament because the discovery of rich meaning occurs when the Old Testament text is read in its own context.AbstrakMakalah ini bertujuan untuk mengajukan sebuah rekontekstualisasi ide mesianik dalam bingkai kehidupan bersama di Indonesia. The church has a central role in the life of Christians. One important element in church ministry that is neglected is the social role of the church. In addition to being a place for believers to struggle, the church is also a place to do three basic things which are conceptualized as the Tri Duty of the Church, namely fellowship, witness, and serve. This study uses a qualitative approach where the author tries to describe an object. The method used is a literature study where the author tries to collect data from literature sources that are correlated with the research problem. The church does not only focus on increasing the faith of the people, but the church also has other duties and responsibilities, namely social roles and responsibilities, especially in realizing the practice of the fifth precept of Pancasila. The church exists to side with the weak, the powerless, the poor, and the marginalized.  AbstrakPancasila selain sebagai ideologi, juga sebagai pandangan hidup dimana nilai-nilai yang terkandung dalam Pancasila dijadikan norma-norma yang mengatur kehidupan bersama bangsa Indonesia dalam berbagai bidang kehidupan. Gereja memiliki peran yang sentral dalam kehidupan umat Kristen. Salah satu unsur penting dalam pelayanan gereja yang terabaikan adalah peran sosial gereja. Gereja selain menjadi tempat pergumulan orang percaya, gereja juga menjadi rumah untuk melakukan tiga hal dasar yang dikonsepkan Tri Tugas Gereja yakni bersekutu, bersaksi dan melayani. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dimana penulis berusaha mendeskripsikan suatu objek. Metode yang digunakan adalah studi literatur dimana penulis berusaha mengumpulkan data dari sumber-sumber literatur yang berkorelasi dengan masalah penelitian. Gereja tidak hanya berfokus pada peningkatan iman umat, tetapi gereja juga memiliki tugas dan tanggung jawab yang lain yaitu peran dan tanggung jawab sosial terutama dalam mewujudkan pengamalan sila kelima dari Pancasila. The family is an example that can have a big influence on their teenagers. Parents educate their children to remember traditions that can be trusted and bring happiness. The tradition of Zifon circumcision is the custom of cutting the foreskin carried out on children aged 18 years. The healing process of the wound after cutting the fore- skin becomes a unique thing, namely having sex with other women after the wound heals. Researchers used qualitative research with descriptive methods and data collection using observation, interviews, and document review. This study can provide an explanation of Family Education for 18-year-old Children as a Solution to the Zifon Circumcision Tradition in Batakte Village. The existence of family education for children from the age of teenagers in order to maintain or preserve the culture or customs.AbstrakKeluarga sebagai tempat di mana anak pertama kali mendapatkan pendidikan. Keluarga merupakan contoh yang dapat memberikan pengaruh besar kepada anak remajanya. Orang tua mendidik anaknya untuk mengingat tradisi-tradisi yang dapat di percaya dan mendatangkan kebahagian. Tradisi sunat zifon adalah adat pemotongan kulup yang dilakukan pada anak yang berumur 18 tahun. Proses penyembuhan dari luka setelah pemotongan kulup manjadi hal yang unik yaitu melakukan hubungan seks dengan perempuan lain setelah luka tersebut sembu. Peneliti mengunakan penelitian kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif dan pengambilan data dengan menggunakan observasi, wawancara, dan telaah dokumen. Penelitian ini dapat memberikan penjelasan tentang Pendidikan Keluarga Pada Anak Usia 18 tahun Sebagai Solusi Terhadap Tradisi Sunat Zifon yang ada di Kelurahan Batakte. Building the nation's next generation of character should be the responsibility of all parties, be it, families, schools, and churches. This certainly requires a responsibility that is not easy, so a strong commitment is needed to build it. The church is an important forum for character building in the life of the nation and state. Character development in particular is closely related to the affirmation of identity. This character building is closely related to Christian values as an instrument to achieve this goal. From this point of view, this study was developed to provide a reference for how the church is involved and plays an active role in building the nation through character building in accordance with the truth of God. AbstrakTujuan pembangunan karakter pada dasarnya adalah untuk membentuk generasi bangsa yang tumbuh dan berkembang dengan nilai-nilai pancasila, nilai luhur, adat, dan agama. Membangun generasi penerus bangsa yang berkarakter seyogianya merupakan tanggung jawab semua pihak baik itu keluarga, sekolah maupun gereja. Hal ini tentu membutuhkan tanggung jawab yang tidak mudah, sehingga diperlukan komitmen yang kuat untuk membangunnya. Gereja menjadi wadah penting dalam pembangunan karakter di tengah kehidupan berbangsa dan bernegara. Pembangunan karakter secara khusus berhubungan erat dengan peneguhan jati diri. Pembangunan karakter ini berhubungan erat dengan nilai-nilai kekristenan sebagai instrumen untuk mencapai tujuan tersebut. The rise of religious fundamentalist understanding on social media and the lack of content and discussion of religious moderation on social media make this understanding more mushrooming which then has a bad impact on religious tolerance. Through descriptive qualitative methods, the author explained that every Indonesian must participate in echoing religious moderation on social media as much as possible because social media is effectively used in eroding conservative understanding and developing moderate religious understanding.AbstrakDewasa ini pola pikir seseorang yang kemudian terimplementasi dipengaruhi oleh apa yang dilihat di media sosial. Maraknya paham fundamentalis agama di media sosial dan minimnya konten dan pembahasan moderasi beragama di media sosial membuat paham ini semakin menjamur yang kemudian memberikan dampak buruk terhadap toleransi beragama.
