The research aims to elaborate the leadership model’s contradictory of Buginesse perspective based on the characters in Animal Farm by Orwell. This research is associated the external theory to know the concept of leadership values contradictory between leadership values in Buginesse perspective and leadership values in Orwell’s Animal Farm. Then, the researchers analyzed the leadership values that reflected in the novel using Abram’s sociology literature approach and mimetic perspective that focuses on the relationship between literary works and the universe that inspires the creation of literary works, if one applies the mimetic approach. The researchers use qualitative method both for collecting and analyzing data. The results of this study indicate that there are five leadership values of Buginesse perspective. Four of them are contradictive with leadership in Orwell’s Animal Farm such as Lempu means honest and truthful, Getteng means firm, brave, and strong on the establishment, Ada Tongeng means hold fast to the truth, Sugik means rich in thought word, work, and spending. Digital storytelling as one of the innovations in the disruptive era that strengthens the culture transfer. The using of technology as a medium for sharing stories is one of the right choices. As a powerful distribution tool, it can reach various groups in all corners of the world. There are differences among western and eastern countries so, storytelling does not only share the richness of tales but also culture. Wattpad is one of the most widely accessed digital storytelling platforms in Indonesia. Moreover, as a technology that comes from western countries, Wattpad also contains western cultures in it, one of them is the LGBT movement. Usually, for some eastern countries, this culture is taboo, especially in Indonesia. However, on this platform appears the different interactions emerge about LGBT. Indonesian Wattpad users read and produce these taboo stories. There is also a virtual conversation among users about this content that can be accessed publicly through the comment’s column. This research attempts to describe the cyberculture of Indonesian users on Wattpad by using virtual ethnography methods. This study focuses on exploring the cultural resistance found in the discourse which covers the symbolic meanings reflected in the mbrokohi ritual. This aimed at describing the forms of cultural resistance and steps of anticipation used by the Sedulur Sikep society in implementing the rice harvest ritual mbrokohi towards the stigma and influence of the modern era. The data collection technically applied in-depth interviewing method, involved observations and the analysis of primary/secondary data documents. The stages of analysis were conducted based on a cycle basis which includes data collection, data reduction, data display and verification. Demonstration is a way of expressing an opinion in a democratic country and every citizen has the right to voice his opinion. Student demonstrations in front of the Parliament building on September 24, 2019 were often compared to the demonstrations of their predecessors in 1998 in terms of the purpose and manner of different demonstrations, including the use of language. This can be seen from the poster that contains messages that are called on by students as can be seen in various social media accounts and in newspapers. The poster that was brought in this demonstration was even highlighted in the media, both in print, television and social media. This study examines the posters using Jacobson's communication theory and critical discourse analysis to see how students voice their political aspirations. Through this research it was found that students associate political issues with personal problems through their messages on posters. The problem of poverty is one of the big problems in the world. It was reflected in literary works, as a result of cultural products. It is a mistake if see literary works are only a result of the imagination. This research used the descriptive qualitative method to analyze a text in the novel. Then, the researchers analyzed the novel to find out the ideas, thought and solutions from Hemingway as the author of A Farewell to Arms , and also using an additional theory to understand the concepts of poverty. This novel reflected three factors causing poverty. First is the unstable socio-political condition. Second, the in-action of some characters to meet their basic needs cause by depression. Third, the characters lack education that make them do not have the qualified ability to get jobs or set up independent production businesses. It was also revealed that there were four solutions in eradicating poverty by Hemingway reflected in this novel. The first was increasing non-agricultural production consisting of; opening a home stay business in rural areas, making villas in mountainous areas and building hotel business for people who had many capitals in urban areas. The other non-agricultural productions were to become a sculpture carver, and to open a clinic for expert doctors. The second is an increase agricultural business with quality methods. The third way is through education to improve skills in various fields of production. This research aims at elaborating (1) the forms of poverty which existing in Animal Farm, and (2) will analyze the political strategy of the seven commandements which used to alleviate the poverty. In order to analyze this research, the researcher uses the sociology of literature theory, as the main approach and the poverty theory based on Marxism as the additional approach. Furthermore, the researcher uses qualitative methodology both for collecting data and analyzing data. In collecting data, the researcher separates three data, those are Primary Data which taken from the novel itself, Secondaray Data which quoted from the previous researcher, and Suppoting Data that can support the analysis quoted from books, journal, internet, cetera. The results of research found that in shaping poverty in Animal Farm novel, Mr. Jones has committed many undemocratic ways such as monopolizing the base structure and decreasing the animal consciousness.
