This paper discusses the local wisdom in Japanese society through a myth of Yamagami in Japanese novel namely Kamusari Na Na Nichijou written by Miura Shion. The story tells about Yuki Hirano a young boy from Yokohama, one of the major cities in Japan who decided to be a forest worker and live in a countryside of Kamusari Mountain for one year. During staying in that village, he was extremely surprised by the tradition of that community. The people in the village believe a myth about the existence of a Goddess of Mountain ( Yamagami ) is called Ooyamazomi who controls that place. By using ecofeminism theory, this paper aim to show that the local wisdom of community in Kamusari village related closely to the myth of Yamagami which is considered by cultural ecofeminists as the 'Goddess Earth Mother' which gives life through its natural resources. Japan's Government made the Japan Foundation as a cultural diplomacy agent to introduces their all culture to other countries. As its duties, the Japan Foundation has created programs that are to attracting people in the world (especially Asian people) to respect Japan. One example of JF is the Japanese Film Festival. As a result, several Indonesian people who work in Japan rapidly increased. The new media Era of communication can be characterizing by the so-called media convergence. The existence of authority in building text and utilizing digital media makes new media users more freely to spread the information. One of the new media that is in the span of seven years is still often used is, WhatsApp. This American-based application presents the ease of usage in a straightforward, unacquainted and user-background basis. Yet, among a number of advantages and disadvantages, this one social media can cause an effect beyond verbal communication in general. One of the triggers of the effect is sporadic false information dissemination patterns in cyberspace or more commonly known as hoax that then become cyber culture and become the trigger post-war in the real world. In this paper will be described how the nature of WhatsApp, the classification of active users, the difference in response between digital natives and Gen Alfa and its effects, and what causes the user to easily disseminate information that has not been Certainly the reference. This research method is descriptive statistics of Slovin Equation. The case study will be used by WhatsApp Group (WAG), which consists of lecturers, college students, and families. The results found are narcissistic personality disorder (NPD) posed among the social media users. As a cultural expression of an agrarian Buginese society, the massurek tradition occupied a central point in the implementation of the Maddoja Bine ritual. The main problem focused on how the ideology of an agrarian Buginese society reflected through the figure of Sangiang Serri in the “Meong Palo Karellae”. It presented in the massurek oral tradition. The data analyzed was surek “Meong Palo Karellae” text which told about Sangiang Serri. The analysis showed that the figure of Sangiang Serri was a metaphor that represented gender ideology in Buginese people. The Bugis-Makassar women imagery in domestic and public that was reflected through the Lontaraq manuscript. The background of this review is how the imagery and the role of Bugis-Makassar Women in Lontaraq Manuscript. The method of descriptive-qualitative. This review collected data from the manuscript which have been transliterated and translated including Lontaraq Bugis-Makassar as well as manuscript related to Bugis-Makassar women. In the Lontaraq manuscript, we found that the position of the women as Goddess of Life ( Dewi Sang Hyang Seri), the most respected figure who maintain the welfare of the human on earth. Moreover, Bugis-Makassar women, uphold religion values, are imaged as loyal, and submissive women, like the figures called. On the other hand, women are imaged as religion experts and guardians. Along with the economic development in the Industrial Revolution 4.0 era, the ability to speak Mandarin is a necessity both in the world of business and education. In the Chinese language field, obtaining HSK Certification as a stimulant for students to improve their academic qualifications. Similarly, it is not uncommon for workers or prospective employees to seek certification to improve their professionalism. Various high school or university with mandarin language competency requires students to pass the HSK certification exam at a certain level. The emergence of a combination of innovative products in the field of Electronics and Information Technology has been the driving force behind the development of an application of the Hanyu Shuiping Kaoshi (HSK) as a supporting medium to support the preparation of the HSK exam. The local application created is expected to complement the media available at the Google Play digital store. Specifically, this media was tested as an exam simulation application for Nurul Jadid Probolinggo high school students and Mandarin study program students at Widya Kartika University, which required students and students to pass HSK levels 4 and 5. The historical novel Hanaoka Seishu no Tsuma by Ariyoshi Sawako selected as the object of this study shows the use of historical person, Hanaoka Seishu, a surgeon and inventor of anesthesia in Japan as secondary character, and the doctor’s wife as the main character. This novel shows simple form and tends to be realistic in its narration. It shows ideological colors around the oppression of the Edo era women, while emphasizing psychological problems regarding the inner upheaval of the main female characters, with a simple plot. This novel flows progressively in a speedy rhythm, narrating the life journey of Kae as Hanaoka Seishu's wife. The most compositions are small and personal events interspersed with many descriptions. By analyzing data collected from the comment section in University of Indonesia’s Japanese Study Program event namely Gelar Jepang's Instagram Feed, we found that the visitor’s responses can be categorized into “pre-event excitement”, “wishes for future experience” and “reviews of the event”. In the digital era of industry 4.0 with the demand of environment-friendly business due to the world’s alarming natural condition, natural-cultural-historical tourism using digital promotion becomes a very reasonable way to gain profit for the people involved in the business and to get benefit for the tourism sites. As most of those kinds of tourism involving folklore as the tourism attraction, the business also serves as a potential local language and culture preservation. This research shows how local people were empowered as local guide by integrating the folklore behind the tourism sites and introducing local language as a part of culture preservation through a simple English speaking teaching material, shared through the digital media, particularly social media, managed by the local community.
