It has attracted a great deal of attention in the field of education with its potential for delivering economical, securable, reliable, and sharable education services. Based on the analysis of requirements of joint training programs, limitations of traditional e-learning platforms and advantages brought by cloud computing technology, we propose a novel education cloud architecture and give an overview of the function provided by the education cloud model. The study consisted of several stages: identify problems and needs, determine the service model and design the cloud architecture. This paper gives specific directions for education cloud applications. We believe that the proposed education cloud will provide a new and innovative solution to break the traditional education constraints of time and place, provide high-quality education services, and promote the development of joint training programs in colleges and universities.","PeriodicalId":127299,"journal":{"name":"2015 International Symposium on Educational Technology (ISET)","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2015-07-27","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"115802452","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Detecting abnormal learning behavior in time is valuable for the adjustment of teaching strategies. Because of the individual differences in learning behavior, it is difficult to measure with a unified standard. First, this thesis expounds its theoretical research, and constructs the model based on it. Second, this research adopts the action research method conducts the \"Multimedia Technology and Application\" course three times, develops the online courses with Blackboard learning platform, and uses a questionnaire survey, in-depth interview, and group community growth reflection logs to collect the data. From the perspectives of the instructor, collaborative learners and resources, it eventually forms an instructional design process and learning model. This hybrid model has four main stages: community knowledge-based individual CKB, improvable ideas-based CKB within the community, rising above-based CKB between distributed communities and symmetric knowledge advance -- based public CKB. Finally, it is proved that the model played an active role in improving student's learning interest, professional performance and high-level abilities, especially social skills, practical skills, research abilities and real-world problem solving.","PeriodicalId":127299,"journal":{"name":"2015 International Symposium on Educational Technology (ISET)","volume":"192 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2015-07-27","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"124258134","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

It has a great influence on methods of teaching, learning, organizing and business pattern of the education in China. The success of this revolution is very important for the research of online teaching process and teaching pattern of MOOC. Being centered on the characteristics of online teaching, this paper analyzes the structure and learning process of the courses. In addition, we find the following researches of MOOC focus on online learning, personalized learning and teaching, interaction and teaching method according to the literature review. We hypothesize that the number of study partners, frequency of changing study partners and the amount of interaction between study partners can influence pair learning enjoyment, which in turn affects the effectiveness of pair learning. In our study, we also explored the effects of perceived usefulness of pair learning on enjoyment. Despite a lack of statistically significant evidence, our observation suggests that it is imperative for educators to consider, when designing and planning pair learning activities, giving students some degree of autonomy (freedom) in determining the number of study partners and frequency of changing partners.","PeriodicalId":127299,"journal":{"name":"2015 International Symposium on Educational Technology (ISET)","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2015-07-27","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"128743957","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The research involved the participation of more than six thousands first-year students in the years of 2012-2014. The aim of the survey was to prove that the FSAF project is useful and students are satisfied with it. The methods of a quantitative questionnaire survey and qualitative SWOT analysis were used here. The results from the questionnaire imply that almost all of university students consider the induction course and introductory lecture to be useful. It has been confirmed that the students who are not familiar with the course have less knowledge than those who have attended the course. Less than three quarters of the assigned questions were answered correctly by the course sympathizers. Those not knowing about the course had only more than twothirds of the answers correct. Out of the total number, more than four-fifths of students use the course, which proves that the course is useful and popular with most students. The SWOT analysis from 2014 shows that the students are satisfied with the information provided in the course. They appreciate instructive articles complemented by multimedia content, up-to-date video records, pleasant graphic design and the search engine function. The results will be used for the timely provision of information and a quick adaptation of students when entering to our faculty.","PeriodicalId":127299,"journal":{"name":"2015 International Symposium on Educational Technology (ISET)","volume":"38 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2015-07-27","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"130843096","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
