In this study an observation was made on the ARMED Intersection and the Taman Sudirman Intersection, located in Cimahi City, which have experienced traffic problems. A simulation was carried out at these intersections, using the VISSIM PTV software, and taking into account the behavior of the driver. The results of this study indicate that for micro analysis, the delay and speed criteria are more suitable for use than the degree of saturation criteria. Keywords: intersection, traffic, delay, speed, degree of saturation Abstrak Simpang merupakan tempat bertemunya arus kendaraan dari beberapa ruas jalan dan sebagai tempat kendaraan melakukan perubahan arah pergerakan lalu lintas.Pada studi ini dilakukan pengamatan terhadap Simpang ARMED dan Simpang Taman Sudirman Kota Cimahi, yang telah mengalami masalah lalu lintas. Suatu simulasi dilakukan pada simpang-simpang tersebut, dengan perangkat lunak PTV VISSIM, dengan memper-timbangkan perilaku pengemudi. Hasil studi ini menunjukkan bahwa untuk analisis mikro, kriteria-kriteria tundaan dan kecepatan lebih sesuai untuk digunakan daripada kriteria derajat kejenuhan. Marshall testing was carried out on specimens using polyethylene terephthalate plastic additives, with variations in the ingredients added 2%, 4%, 6%, 8%, and 10% to the weight of asphalt on specimens with Optimum Asphalt Content. Marshall parameters of test specimens generally meet the existing specifications, except the Void In Mixture value for specimens with plastic content of 8% and 10%. The optimum plastic content obtained from this study is 7.80%. Pengujian Marshall dilakukan terhadap benda-benda uji yang menggunakan bahan tambah plastik jenis Polyethylene Terephthalate, dengan variasi bahan tambah 2%, 4%, 6%, 8%, dan 10% terhadap berat aspal pada benda uji dengan Kadar Aspal Optimum. Parameter Marshall benda-benda uji umumnya memenuhi spesifikasi yang ada, kecuali nilai Void In Mixture untuk benda-benda uji dengan kadar plastik 8% dan 10%. Kadar plastik optimum yang diperoleh dari studi ini adalah 7,80%. For example, PT INKA has used composite materials with fiber glass reinforcement. The purpose of this study is to determine the characteristics of tensile strength and bending strength of the composite material so that it can be proposed to be further developed and utilized by the manufacturing industry, especially the railroad industry. In this study, 4 types of matrix variations were examined, namely epoxy, repoxy, polyester, and bhispenol using fiber glass reinforcement. Tensile strength and bending strength tests were performed in accordance with the ASTM D-638 and the ASTM D-790 standards, respectively. The results of this study indicate that the variation of the matrix is very influential on the tensile strength and bending strength of composite materials. Sebagai contoh, PT INKA sudah menggunakan material komposit dengan penguat serat gelas. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui karakteristik kekuatan tarik dan kekuatan bending material komposit agar dapat diusulkan untuk lebih dikembangkan dan dimanfaatkan oleh industri manufaktur, khususnya industri kereta api. Many studies related to accident risk analysis have been carried out, but practical applications are still not widely found, especially for accident risk analysis at priority junctions. This study aims to determine the speed and acceleration of motorcyclist behavior entering a junction. It was conducted by measuring the speed of a motorcycle when entering the junction at 150 m, 100 m, and 50 meters before the point of the potential conflict. If the critical gap is longer than the stopping distance (a combination of the reaction time and braking time), the motorcycle will be safe. The results showed that motorcyclist decelerates the speed when entering the junction. The change in speed starts at 50 to 100 meters before the conflict. Motorcyclists will be safe if the speed is less than 65.8 km/h at 50 meters before entering the junction. Keywords: traffic safety, accident risk analysis, priority junction, speed Abstrak Keselamatan adalah faktor utama dalam perencanaan dan perancangan fasilitas jalan. Berbagai penelitian yang berhubungan dengan analisis risiko kecelakaan telah banyak dilakukan, namun aplikasi praktisnya masih belum banyak dijumpai terutama untuk analisis risiko kecelakaan pada simpang prioritas. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perilaku kecepatan dan percepatan sepeda motor saat memasuki simpang, sehingga dapat dilakukan analisis terhadap potensi risiko sepeda motor saat memasuki simpang prioritas. Penelitian dilakukan dengan mengukur kecepatan sepeda motor saat memasuki simpang pada jarak 150 m, 100 m, dan 50 m sebelum titik konflik. Apabila celah kritis lebih panjang dari jarak henti (gabungan dari pengaruh waktu reaksi dan waktu pengereman), maka sepeda motor tersebut dapat dikategorikan selamat. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa saat memasuki simpang sebagian besar sepeda motor melakukan perlambatan. Perubahan kecepatan mulai terjadi pada jarak antara 50 sampai 100 meter sebelum titik konflik. Sepeda motor akan aman apabila pada kecepatan sebelum simpang tidak melebihi 65,8 km/jam. According to its status, road is classified into national road, province road, city road, district road, and village road. The status of a road significantly affects the process of financing, planning, construction, and maintenance of that road. Therefore, a comprehensive study is needed before the status of a road is determined or changed. This paper discusses several aspects that are needed to be considered before the status of a road is determined or changed, with a case study of Gorontalo Outer Ring Road. These aspects are centre-of-activity hierarchy, road geometry, and the traffic volume. After all those aspects were discussed, the recommended status of Gorontalo Outer Ring Road is concluded. Menurut statusnya, jalan dikelompokkan menjadi jalan nasional, jalan provinsi, jalan kota, jalan kabupaten, dan jalan desa. Penetapan status suatu jalan berdampak besar pada kegiatan pembiayaan, perencanaan, pembangunan, dan pemeliharaan jalan tersebut. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan kajian yang mendalam sebelum suatu jalan ditetapkan atau diubah statusnya. Pada studi ini dikaji aspek-aspek yang perlu diperhatikan ketika suatu ruas jalan akan ditetapkan atau diubah statusnya, dengan studi kasus Jalan Lingkar Luar Gorontalo. Aspek-aspek yang dibahas pada penelitian ini adalah aspek hierarki pusat kegiatan, aspek geometri jalan, dan aspek lalu lintas. Setelah semua aspek tersebut dibahas, dapat disimpulkan status jalan yang sesuai untuk Jalan Lingkar Luar Gorontalo. One of the parameters used is the International Roughness Index or IRI. Currently, technological developments encourage the use of smartphone applications as a tool to determine the value of IRI. Comparisons between IRIs obtained using tools, such as roughometers, and IRIs obtained from software applications have not been made. The purpose of this study was to analyze the relationship between the results of the measurement of the roughometer and the results of the Android application Roadbump Pro. This research was carried out on the Sam Ratulangi Road in Palu City, with a segment length of 600 meters and analyzed per 100 meters. The results of this study indicate that smartphone applications provide good IRI measurement results, so they can be used in road stability assessments. In addition, the type of survey vehicle did not have a significant effect on IRI measurements. Salah satu parameter yang digunakan adalah International Roughness Index atau IRI. Saat ini, perkembangan teknologi mendorong penggunaan aplikasi smartphone sebagai alat bantu untuk menentukan nilai IRI. Perbandingan antara IRI yang diperoleh dengan menggunakan alat bantu, seperti roughometer, dan IRI yang diperoleh dari aplikasi perangkat lunak belum dilakukan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menganalisis hubungan antara hasil pengukuran alat roughometer dan hasil aplikasi android Roadbump Pro. Penelitian ini dilakukan di ruas Jalan Sam Ratulangi di Kota Palu, dengan panjang segmen 600 meter dan dianalisis per 100 meter. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa aplikasi smartphone memberikan hasil pengukuran IRI yang baik, sehingga dapat digunakan dalam penilaian kemantapan jalan. Selain itu, jenis kendaraan survei tidak memberikan pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap pengukuran IRI. This Supeltas is present on the road to help organize the movement of traffic, as happened at the Surakarta Ganesha Unsignalized Intersection. This study aims to determine the influence of the existence of Supeltas on capacity, degree of saturation, delay, and queuing opportunities that occur at the intersection. The analysis was carried out using the 1997 Indonesian Highway Capacity Manual. The results showed that the intersection without Supeltas had a capacity of 3,114.03 pcu/hour and a degree of saturation of 1.47, while the same intersection but with Supeltas had a capacity of 3,136.81 pcu/hour and a degree of saturation of 1.51. These results indicate that Supeltas has a positive influence on the performance of the intersection. Nevertheless, the degree of saturation in the location increased due to the increase in traffic volume as well as increased capacity. Keywords: unsignalized intersection, intersection performance, intersection capacity, degree of saturation Abstrak Kemacetan lalu lintas di Kota Surakarta memunculkan sosok fenomenal di kalangan pengendara kendaraan bermotor, yang disebut Sukarelawan Pengatur Lalu Lintas atau disingkat Supeltas. Supeltas ini hadir di jalan untuk membantu mengatur pergerakan lalu lintas, seperti yang terjadi di Simpang Tak Bersinyal Ganesha Surakarta. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menentukan pengaruh keberadaan Supeltas terhadap kapasitas, derajat kejenuhan, tundaan, dan peluang antrian yang terjadi di simpang tersebut. Analisis dilakukan dengan menggu-nakan Manual Kapasitas Jalan Indonesia 1997. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa simpang tanpa Supeltas memiliki kapasitas sebesar 3.114,03 smp/jam dan derajat kejenuhan 1,47, sedangkan simpang yang sama tetapi dengan Supeltas memiliki kapasitas sebesar 3.136,81 smp/jam dan derajat kejenuhan 1,51. Hasil tersebut menunjukkan bahwa Supeltas mempunyai pengaruh positif terhadap kinerja simpang. Meskipun demikian, derajat kejenuhan di lokasi tersebut meningkat karena bertambahnya volume lalu lintas di samping kapasitas yang juga meningkat. In this study, an analysis of the ability to pay and the willingness to pay of toll road users and financial analysis were performed to determine the feasibility of this toll road project. The analysis shows that the ability to pay and the willingness to pay of the toll road users reach the same value for a tariff of Rp600.00 per km. By using the current tariff, which is Rp1,000.00 per km, the project's capital return is estimated to occur in 2027. Meanwhile, if a tariff of Rp600.00 per km is applied, the toll road project is still financially viable, with a return on capital expected to occur in 2019. Pada studi ini dilakukan analisis kemampuan membayar dan kerelaan membayar pengguna jalan tol tersebut serta analisis finansial untuk menentukan kelayakan proyek jalan tol ini. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan membayar dan kerelaan membayar pengguna jalan tol mencapai nilai yang sama untuk tarif sebesar Rp600,00 per km. Dengan menggunakan tarif yang berlaku saat ini, yaitu Rp1.000,00 per km, pengembalian modal proyek ini diperkirakan terjadi pada tahun 2027. Sementara itu, bila digunakan tarif sebesar Rp600,00 per km, proyek jalan tol ini masih layak secara finansial, dengan pengembalian modal diperkirakan terjadi pada tahun 2019. The focus of the study was accidents involving buses, as a public transportation mode. In this study, a descriptive approach is used, and for the cost of traffic accidents, the Gross Output Method is used. The results obtained show that the proportion of traffic accidents involving buses in the Regency of Garus is 3.5%, with humans being is the dominant factor causing the traffic accidents. In addition, the cost of traffic accidents involving these buses reaches 0.15% of the Gross Regional Domestic Product of Garut Regency. Keywords: traffic accidents, accident costs, public transportation, accident characteristics Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi karakteristik dan biaya kecelakaan lalu lintas yang terjadi di Kabupaten Garut pada tahun 2012 hingga tahun 2017. Fokus penelitian adalah kecelakaan yang melibatkan bus, sebagai moda transportasi publik. Pada studi ini digunakan pendekatan deskriptif dan untuk biaya kecelakaan lalu lintas digunakan metode Gross Output. Hasil yang didapat menunjukkan bahwa proporsi kecelakaan lalu lintas yang melibatkan bus di Kabupaten Garut adalah 3,5%, dengan manusia merupakan faktor penyebab yang dominan. Selain itu, biaya kecelakaan lalu lintas yang melibatkan bus ini mencapai 0,15% terhadap Produk Domestik Regional Bruto Kabupaten Garut. This new airport requires an intermodal passenger transport, which is a mode of transportation that needs to be prepared to connect the airport with the supporting cities served. In this study, a questionnaire survey involving 1,000 respondents was conducted. The survey was conducted at Adisutjipto Airport to find out the origin and destination of passengers in using the mode of transportation to and from Yogyakarta International Airport. Based on the origin and destination data, a map of the airport service area is made. The proportion of the choice of transportation mode was used as the basis of the potential passenger demand for a route. The route of intermodal transportation is found to be from and goes to 10 points, namely Borobudur, Kebumen, Magelang, Purwokerto, Purworejo, Temanggung, Wates/Sentolo, Wonosari, Wonosobo, and Yog-yakarta. The operational costs of intermodal passenger transport are Rp9,570.53 per kilometer. The average passenger fare per kilometer is Rp1,042.07. The tariff for various routes is more realistic in describing the distance, with an average deviation of Rp38.24 and a range of Rp141.55. Bandar udara baru ini membutuhkan angkutan pemadu moda, yaitu suatu moda transportasi yang perlu dipersiapkan untuk menghubungkan bandar udara tersebut dengan kota-kota pendukung yang dilayani. Pada kajian ini dilakukan survei kuesioner yang melibatkan 1.000 responden. Survei dilakukan di Bandar Udara Adisutjipto untuk mengetahui asal tujuan dan keinginan penumpang dalam meng-gunakan moda transportasi untuk menuju dan dari Yogyakarta International Airport. Berdasarkan data asal dan tujuan dibuat peta daerah pelayanan bandar udara. Proporsi kemauan pemilihan moda transportasi menjadi dasar demand potensi penumpang untuk rute trayek. Rute trayek pemadu moda yang diperoleh berasal dan menuju ke-10 titik, yaitu Borobudur, Kebumen, Magelang, Purwokerto, Purworejo, Temanggung, Wates/Sentolo, Wono-sari, Wonosobo, dan Yogyakarta. Biaya Operasional Pemadu Moda adalah sebesar Rp9.570,53 per kilometer. Rata-rata tarif penumpang per kilometer adalah Rp1.042,07. Besaran tarif untuk berbagai rute trayek lebih realistis dalam menggambarkan jarak tempuhnya, dengan simpangan rata-rata Rp38,24 dan rentang sebesar Rp141,55.
