We assume that there is no direct path between S and the client receivers and communication occurs only through the relays. Considering a linear equalization, e.g. zero-forcing (ZF) in cooperative spatial multiplexing system, at first, we derive the exact closed-form expression for the ergodic multicast capacity. Then, we derive the closed-form expressions for the outage probability and the complementary cumulative distribution function (CCDF) of multicast capacity to analyze the outage performance of proposed model.","PeriodicalId":6490,"journal":{"name":"2015 International Conference on Electrical & Electronic Engineering (ICEEE)","volume":"72 1","pages":"57-60"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2015-11-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"88308401","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Copper oxide films were electrodeposited at different pH and different concentration of CuSO4.5H2O and the optical band gap was determined from their absorption spectrum which was obtained from UV-Vis absorption spectroscopy. It was found that copper oxide films which were deposited at low concentration of CuSO4.5H2O have higher band gap than those deposited at higher bath concentration. The band gap of copper oxide films also significantly changes with pH of the bath solution. It was also observed that with the increase of the pH of bath solution band gap of copper oxide film decreased.","PeriodicalId":6490,"journal":{"name":"2015 International Conference on Electrical & Electronic Engineering (ICEEE)","volume":"77 1","pages":"229-232"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2015-11-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"81496994","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This paper presents a fixed speed wind turbine based Induction generator (IG) including energy capacitor system (ECS) which is the combination of power electronics and electric double layer capacitor (EDLC). It is seen that ECS can significantly compensate voltage and power fluctuations of grid-connected fixed-speed wind generator. It is very important to select a proper output power reference of wind farm for smoothing the wind farm output power. This paper proposes a low cost and simple Low Pass Filter (LPF) method to generate the reference output power of a grid-connected wind farm. To stable the output power the proposed control system is designed on the basis to follow line power reference by absorbing or providing real power to or from the ECS and to keep the wind farm terminal voltage at the desired reference level necessary reactive power are also to be supplied. The performance of the proposed system is analyzed by simulation using PSCAD/EMTDC software.","PeriodicalId":6490,"journal":{"name":"2015 International Conference on Electrical & Electronic Engineering (ICEEE)","volume":"44 1","pages":"221-224"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2015-11-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"76752457","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The increase of minority carrier lifetime results in higher conversion efficiency. Minority carrier lifetime is determined and analyzed for InGaN single junction solar cell at different excess carrier concentrations by considering the effect of radiative, Auger, Shockley-Read-Hall (SRH) and surface recombination. Since InGaN is a direct bandgap material it is found that radiative recombination is the dominating mechanism for determining the minority carrier lifetime.","PeriodicalId":6490,"journal":{"name":"2015 International Conference on Electrical & Electronic Engineering (ICEEE)","volume":"24 1","pages":"257-260"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2015-11-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"74297145","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

These networks are characterized by opportunistic connectivity, long and variable delay, asymmetric data rate and high error rate. Hence, they can be appropriately modeled as Delay-Tolerant Networks (DTNs). In this paper, the performance of replication-based DTN routing protocols, namely Epidemic, PRoPHET, MaxProp, RAPID, Binary Spray-and-Wait, and Spray-and-Focus has been investigated in an ICMN scenario against varying message generation rates and number of mobile nodes, respectively. The performance is analyzed on the basis of three metrics: Delivery Probability, Average Latency, and Overhead Ratio. Opportunistic Network Environment (ONE) simulator is used as the simulation tool for evaluating these performance metrics. The outcome of this work shows that for the ICMN scenario and given simulation setting, the best DTN routing technique is Spray-and-Focus, whereas Epidemic routing exhibits the worst performance in terms of all the metrics considered here.","PeriodicalId":6490,"journal":{"name":"2015 International Conference on Electrical & Electronic Engineering (ICEEE)","volume":"22 1","pages":"101-104"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2015-11-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"74912131","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The overall performance of an automated apnea detection scheme greatly depends of the choice of classifier. Most of the existing works focus on the feature extraction part. The effect of various classification models is poorly studied. In the present work, we employ statistical moment based features and Empirical Mode Decomposition to devise a feature extraction scheme. Furthermore, we study the performance of nine well-know classifiers for this feature extraction scheme- naive bayes, kNN, neural network, AdaBoost, Bagging, random forest, extreme learning machine (ELM), discriminant analysis and restricted boltzmann machine. The optimal choice of parameters of each of the classifiers is also studied. This study suggests that ELM is a promising classification model for automated sleep apnea detection.","PeriodicalId":6490,"journal":{"name":"2015 International Conference on Electrical & Electronic Engineering (ICEEE)","volume":"65 1","pages":"45-48"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2015-11-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"76521304","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Highly aligned TiO2 NTs have been fabricated by using a self organized anodic oxidation method with ammonia fluorinated and ethylene glycol based electrolyte. The surface morphology has been confirmed by scanning electron microscopy (SEM). The NTs are grown uniformly on Ti susbtrate with inner diameter of 100 nm, outer diameter of 150 nm, and wall thickness of 25 nm. The chemical purity is investigated by photo luminance spectrophotometer. The structural property can be measured by X-ray diffractometer (XRD). As-deposited TiO2 NTs shows very high crystallinity with less oxygen vacancy, which can be suitable for the application of photodegradation of textile azo dye. The structural, optical and surface morphological properties of TiO2 NTs have been correlated and discussed with the applications of photodegradation of textile dyes.","PeriodicalId":6490,"journal":{"name":"2015 International Conference on Electrical & Electronic Engineering (ICEEE)","volume":"11 1","pages":"281-284"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2015-11-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"81073254","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Calculation of the secrecy multicast capacity of each group shows the impact of co-channel interferences (CCI) on it. Application of zero-forcing (ZF) or selective precoding at a relay enhances the secrecy multicast capacity of each group where former one eliminates the total interferences whether the latter uses constructive interferences energy as source of additional energy while cancels the destructive ones. The goal of this paper to apply phase-alignment relay precoding (PARP) scheme to use both the constructive and destructive elements of the interference to improve the secrecy multicast capacity at each group without the need to increase the transmitted power. Our results show that exploiting free interference power, the performance of co-existing wireless multicasting can be improved without affecting the performance of each other.","PeriodicalId":6490,"journal":{"name":"2015 International Conference on Electrical & Electronic Engineering (ICEEE)","volume":"127 1","pages":"189-192"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2015-11-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"78424376","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
