This article aims to find out whether identity styles vary according to age and sex, and to analyze the relation between these identity styles and the strength of commitment with variables of well-being and psychological distress. In addition, it investigates whether commitment mediates between identity styles, well-being and psychological distress. Method: 278 participants (M = 22.03; DT = 2.65), recruited through a non-probabilistic snowball sampling, completed the questionnaires. Results: Women scored higher in strength of commitment and men adopted a more diffusive-avoidant style. Age did not relate to identity style. The informational style correlated positively with well-being variables (flourishing and optimism); the normative style with depression and anxiety and the diffuse-avoidant style correlated positively with psychological distress (depression, anxiety and stress) and negatively with well-being. Finally, the greater the strength of commitment found, the more flourishing and optimism and the less psychological distress there was. The strength of commitment partially or totally mediated the relationship between identity styles and the variables of well-being / psychological distress. Conclusions: The importance of the strength of commitment in personal well-being and the necessity to favour the development of young people´s identity is observed / deduced.\u0000 Antecedentes: Los estilos de identidad buscan conocer cómo las personas se manejan diariamente en las situaciones buscando un compromiso identitario. En este trabajo se propone conocer si los estilos de identidad varían según la edad y el sexo, y analizar la relación entre estos y la fuerza del compromiso con variables de bienestar y malestar psicológico. Método: 278 participantes (M = 22.03; DT = 2.65) reclutados a través de un muestreo no probabilístico por bola de nieve cumplimentaron los cuestionarios. Resultados: Las mujeres puntuaron más alto en fuerza del compromiso y ellos adoptaron más un estilo difuso-evitativo. El estilo informacional correlacionó positivamente con las variables de bienestar (optimismo y florecimiento); el estilo normativo con depresión y ansiedad y el estilo difuso-evitativo correlacionó positivamente con las variables de malestar (depresión, ansiedad y estrés) y negativamente con las de bienestar. Finalmente, a mayor fuerza del compromiso más bienestar y menos malestar. La fuerza del compromiso media parcial o totalmente la relación entre estilos identitarios y las variables de bienestar/malestar. Sex differences in the CRT have been found in multiple studies. In this research, the influence of the mathematical component on sex differences is studied by using two different instruments to measure cognitive reflection: the original CRT and one extended version of the original one, both with a high arithmetic component and, on the other hand, a set of five classic heuristic tasks, called CHT, with a lower numeracy content. The results show that these sex differences disappear when the mathematical nature of the tasks is reduced. Finally, in this work a more elaborate way of scoring the intuitive responses is addressed in relation to the meaning of these differences.\u0000 La prueba de reflexión cognitiva o CRT (Cognitive Reflection Test) es una medida popular diseñada para distinguir el procesamiento del pensamiento intuitivo del analítico. Se han encontrado diferencias de sexo en el CRT en múltiples estudios. En esta investigación se estudia la influencia del componente matemático en las diferencias de sexo utilizando dos instrumentos diferentes para medir la reflexión cognitiva: el CRT original y una versión ampliada del original, ambos con un alto componente aritmético y, por otro lado, un conjunto de cinco tareas heurísticas clásicas, denominadas CHT, con un contenido numérico más bajo. Los resultados muestran que estas diferencias de sexo desaparecen cuando se reduce el carácter matemático de las tareas. The sample includes 748 adolescents, aged 9-16 (M = 11.93, SD = 1.42), coming from contexts with different levels of social risk. The results show that FE decrease as age increases, with few differences found based on sex. More positive self-perceptions and perceived social support are associated with better FE. Concerning the level of risk, more vulnerable contexts have a higher negative effect on FE. The regression analysis reveals the predictive capacity of the studied variables. The structural equation model confirms the positive causal effect of psychological adjustment and perceived social support, as well as the negative influence of contexts with greater social disadvantages on adolescent FE. The results suggest the need to establish preventive programs aimed at promoting personal resources of children, especially those who come from vulnerable contexts.\u0000 Este trabajo analiza las expectativas futuras durante la adolescencia y su relación con variables personales (edad, sexo, autoestima y satisfacción vital) y contextuales (apoyo social percibido y nivel de riesgo). La muestra está formada por 748 adolescentes, con edades comprendidas entre los 9 y 16 años (M = 11.93, SD = 1.42) procedentes de contextos con distinto nivel de riesgo social. Los resultados muestran que las expectativas futuras disminuyen a medida que aumenta la edad, con pocas diferencias encontradas en función del sexo. Autopercepciones y sentimientos de apoyo social más positivos se asocian a mejores expectativas futuras. En relación al nivel de riesgo, contextos más vulnerables tienen un efecto negativo en las expectativas futuras. Los análisis de regresión muestran la capacidad predictiva de las variables estudiadas. Finalmente, el modelo de ecuaciones estructurales confirma el efecto causal positivo del ajuste psicológico y del apoyo social percibido, así como la influencia negativa de los contextos con mayores desventajas sociales, sobre las expectativas de futuro. A search for relevant publications was conducted in the PsycInfo, Pubmed, and ProQuest databases, ranging from January 2009 to December 2019. The search terms included variables related to Ryff's psychological well-being model (2018) (e.g., resilience, maturity, wisdom, autonomy, etc.). 9006 studies were reviewed following the PRISMA guidelines, of which 16 were included. Nine psychological variables related to eudaimonia were identified. The studies differed in the type of MBI, duration of the intervention, time of practice and eudaimonic variables evaluated. MBIs are effective, with medium effect sizes, to improve self-acceptance, positive relationships, and personal growth. However, high-quality studies are needed.\u0000 El objetivo de este estudio es analizar los efectos de las intervenciones basadas en mindfulness (IBMs) sobre variables relacionadas con el bienestar eudaimónico en contextos laborales. Para ello, se realizó una revisión sistemática de ensayos controlados aleatorizados, efectuándose una búsqueda de publicaciones relevantes en las bases de datos PsycInfo, Pubmed y ProQuest (acotando desde enero de 2009 a diciembre de 2019). Los términos de búsqueda incluyeron variables relacionadas con la eudaimonia (p. ej. resilience, maturity, wisdom, etc.). 9006 estudios fueron revisados, de los que 16 fueron incluidos finalmente. Se identificaron 9 variables psicológicas relacionadas con el modelo de bienestar eudaimónico de Ryff (2018). Los estudios diferían en el tipo de IBM, duración de la intervención, tiempo de práctica y variables eudaimónicas evaluadas. En general, las IBMs son eficaces, con tamaños de efecto medios, para mejorar autoaceptación, relaciones positivas y crecimiento personal. In the present study, the relationship between psychological distress, meaning in life, and life satisfaction was explored among individuals who were infected and not infected with COVID-19 during the pandemic. The present study is the first to examine these variables simultaneously. The sample comprised 687 adult individuals over the age of 18 years (mean=30.51 years). Results indicated that adult individuals with high life satisfaction had lower levels of psychological distress, find life more meaningful, and seek meaning less. Psychological distress was positively related with the search for meaning in life and negatively related with the existence of meaning in life. Moreover, depressive symptoms and the existence of meaning in life were significant predictors of life satisfaction.\u0000 Durante la pandemia de COVID-19, el miedo a infectarse, perder a familiares y las medidas tomadas para prevenir la contaminación (por ejemplo, cierres, cuarentenas, distanciamiento espacial, etc.) han aumentado el riesgo de depresión, ansiedad y estrés. En el presente estudio, se exploró la relación entre la angustia psicológica, el significado de la vida y la satisfacción con la vida entre personas infectadas y no infectadas con COVID-19 durante la pandemia. El presente estudio es el primero en examinar estas variables simultáneamente. La muestra estuvo compuesta por 687 adultos mayores de 18 años (media = 30,51 años). Los resultados indicaron que las personas adultas con una alta satisfacción con la vida tenían niveles más bajos de angustia psicológica, encontraban la vida más significativa y buscaban menos el significado. El malestar psicológico se relacionó positivamente con la búsqueda de sentido en la vida y negativamente con la existencia de sentido en la vida. It has a good level of protocolization and is open access. The main objective of this study was to evaluate the effect of the EI-YPA program on adolescents in the medium term, as well as the level of satisfaction and acceptability with respect to the subprogram aimed at adolescents.\u0000Methods: Among the participants who successfully completed the program, 22 adolescents (between 12 and 17 years old) and 49 parents participated in the study in Spain. A single-case experimental design was applied, allowing the monitoring of change within adolescents through comparison between phases (pre-, post-intervention, and follow-up at 6 months).\u0000Results: Empirical evidence favourable to the program was observed, showing reductions in youth-to-parent aggression, clinical symptoms (depressive symptoms, irrational beliefs, a lack of empathy, and emotional instability), and the perception of family conflict in the medium term after the intervention, alongside improved life satisfaction.\u0000Conclusions: This study improves the quality of the evidence of this pioneering program, having a positive impact on adolescents in the medium term and good acceptability by adolescents; it can thus be considered a very promising program for the clinical and family protection context.\u0000 Introducción: El Programa de Intervención Precoz en Situaciones de Violencia Filio-Parental (IP-VFP) tiene un buen nivel de protocolización y es de acceso abierto. El objetivo principal de este estudio es evaluar el efecto del programa IP-VFP en los/as adolescentes a medio plazo. Métodos: Los/as participantes fueron 22 adolescentes (entre 12 y 17 años) y 49 padres-madres de familias españolas, que habían completado el programa. Se aplicó un diseño experimental de caso único, permitiendo realizar el seguimiento del cambio en los/as adolescentes mediante la comparación entre fases (pre, post-intervención y seguimiento a los 6 meses). Resultados. A medio plazo tras la intervención, se observó una disminución de la violencia filio-parental, de los síntomas clínicos (síntomas depresivos, creencias irracionales, inestabilidad emocional y falta de empatía), y de la percepción del conflicto familiar, así como un aumento de la satisfacción vital. The aim of this study is to test the psychometric properties of the Turkish form of the Self-Silencing Scale and to enable the scale to be used in the field of mental health. Method: 560 women, aged from 18 to 59, enrolled in the study. Results: First and higher order confirmatory factor analyzes (CFA) revealed sufficient goodness of fit values for the four-factor structure of the scale. It was observed that the values obtained from the Cronbach's Alpha and test-retest reliability studies of the scale were also within acceptable limits. Discussion: Evidence was reached that the scale which adapted to Turkish within the scope of the study is a valid and reliable measurement tool. These results show that the scale has a counterpart in Turkish culture and indicates a similar structure and can be used in future studies.\u0000 Objetivo: El auto-silenciamiento es una variable asociada a trastornos psicológicos en mujeres, especialmente a la depresión. El objetivo de este estudio es probar las propiedades psicométricas de la forma turca de la Escala de Auto-silenciamiento y permitir que la escala se utilice en el campo de la salud mental. Método: 560 mujeres, con edades entre 18 y 59 años, inscritas en el estudio. Resultados: Los análisis factoriales confirmatorios (AFC) de primer y orden superior revelaron valores de bondad de ajuste suficientes para la estructura de cuatro factores de la escala. Se observó que los valores obtenidos del Alfa de Cronbach y de los estudios de confiabilidad test-retest de la escala también se encontraban dentro de límites aceptables. Discusión: Se evidenció que la escala que se adaptó al turco dentro del ámbito del estudio es una herramienta de medición válida y confiable. The aim of this study was to explore coping strategies and relational dynamics in conflict situa-tions involving people convicted of intimate partner violence with their partners. Focus groups were conducted with convicted intimate partner violence offenders (12 participants) and with psychology professionals (4 participants). The data were explored through thematic analysis following the Nested Ecological Model. The group of convicted perpetrators showed roles of authority and superiority over the woman, a feeling of vulnerability and rejection of the existing legal framework, fear of being arrested for wanting to continue the relationship, the need to control the partner driven by jealousy, justification or denial of responsibility in violent situations or instrumentalization of the children in common. The professionals point out cultural aspects that facilitate violent patterns and roles in the couple's dynamics, communication problems, denial or low awareness of the crime, among other issues. The results are of special interest both for profession-als who wish to learn or deepen their knowledge on the subject, as well as for those who work in intervention and/or prevention of intimate partner violence.\u0000 La violencia de género es un proceso complejo en el cual intervienen variables individuales, relacionales y contextuales. El presente estudio tiene como objetivo explorar las estrategias de afrontamiento y dinámicas relacionales en situaciones conflictivas en condenados por violencia de género con sus parejas. Se realizaron grupos focales con condenados por violencia de género (12 participantes) y con profesionales de la psicología (4 participantes). Los datos se exploraron mediante análisis temático siguiendo el Modelo Ecológico Anidado. El grupo de condenados muestra roles de autoridad y superioridad sobre la mujer, sensación de vulnerabilidad y rechazo ante el marco jurídico existente, miedo a sufrir arrestos por querer continuar con la relación, la necesidad de control de la pareja impulsada por lo celos, la justificación o negación de responsabilidad en las situaciones violentas o instrumentalización de los hijos/as en común. Los profesionales señalan aspectos culturales que facilitan esquemas y roles violentos en la dinámica de pareja, problemas de comunicación, negación o baja conciencia del delito, entre otros temas. Previous studies pose doubts about their capacity to recognize and communicate these problems, but that is an issue that, although relevant, has not yet been systematically revised. Method: A meta-analysis on 32 studies (1422 pairs of participants) was carried out to assess to what extent self-reports provided by people with ASD-noID match those provided by their parents. The articles were categorized according to the domains assessed and method. Results: Significant differences between self- and hetero-reports were found in the domains of Depression, QoL and Social skills (d= 0.406; -0.399 and -0.683, respectively), but not in Anxiety and Social anxiety. The average degree of agreement between both groups of reports was r = .40. Conclusions: Self- and hetero-reports do not provide interchangeable results on the problems of people with ASD-noID. However, a general inability to validate self-reporting cannot be attributed to them. Deeper analysis is necessary to allow to optimize the use of self-reports in this population with both clinical and research purposes.\u0000 Antecedentes: La literatura recoge que en las personas con Trastorno del Espectro del Autismo sin discapacidad intelectual (TEA-noDI) concurren frecuentemente problemas clínicos que predicen peor ajuste en su vida adulta y reducen su calidad de vida (CdV). Estudios previos plantean dudas sobre la capacidad de estas personas para reconocer y comunicar estos problemas, pero esta cuestión, aunque relevante, no se ha revisado sistemáticamente. Método: Se realizó un meta-análisis sobre 32 estudios (1422 pares de participantes) para evaluar hasta qué punto los autoinformes aportados por personas con TEA-noDI coinciden con los aportados por sus padres. Conclusiones: Los autoinformes y los hetero-informes no proporcionan resultados intercambiables, pero no se puede atribuir a estas personas una incapacidad general para aportar autoinformes válidos.
