The purpose of this study was to determine the use of Fort Cempaka as a primary learning resource in South Lampung. The method used in this research is qualitative with descriptive data analysis. The number of informants in this study amounted to 11 people, including 1 managing officer from Fort Cempaka and 10 history teachers at State Senior High Schools in Penegahan and Kalianda Districts. Research Results That history teachers in South Lampung have optimized Fort Cempaka as the main primary learning source in history learning. The teacher's strategy in optimizing Cempaka Fort as a primary learning resource is through visits to Cempaka Fort primary learning resources, giving assignments, and introducing and linking Cempaka Fort into learning material units. Obstacles faced by teachers in optimizing Cempaka Fort as a primary learning source are the limited material in the curriculum, limited data sources and the affordability of objects. The solution to the problems faced when Cempaka Fort was used as a learning resource was to link certain materials, look for other data sources and support from the school.","PeriodicalId":53487,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Social Science Education","volume":"53 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-06-29","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"80674839","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The research was conducted at SMK in Ciracas District, East Jakarta with a population of 362 teachers. Using the Slovin formula with an error rate of 0.05, a simple random sample of 191 teachers was taken. Test the hypothesis using a correlation test. For the measurement of job satisfaction variables, five dimensions are used: namely interest in work done with indicators (1) diligent work and (2) increasing competence. The dimensions of awards received with indicators (1) compensation and (2) promotion. The supervisor's ability dimension provides technical assistance with indicators: (1) academic supervision and (2) clinical supervision. In general, the results of the study prove that the job satisfaction of teachers working at SMK Ciracas District can be influenced by organizational climate variables and commitment variables. As for suggestions for research related to the integration model of the influence of organizational climate variables and organizational commitment to job satisfaction, it can be done in the scope of work of private organizations.","PeriodicalId":53487,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Social Science Education","volume":"19 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-06-17","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"78112187","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Focuses on how the strategy of the Ekoleta rice farming community maintains the existence of Bengawan rice, using the theory of Community Empowerment according to Robert Chambers. This study aims to determine the strategy of Ekoleta rice farmers in maintaining the existence of Bengawan Ekoleta rice. In accelerating these goals, the researchers used descriptive qualitative research methods, and for data collection using interviews, observation, and documentation techniques. Researchers found several strategies of Ekoleta rice farmers in maintaining the existence of Bengawan Ekoleta rice, namely through the selection of seeds and nurseries, rice casings, and rice care. The findings above are very relevant when linked to the theoretical basis of community empowerment according to Robert Chambers, namely Ekoleta rice farmers empower themselves through Bengawan rice farming activities in new ways that keep them cultivating Bengawan Ekoleta rice. In the end, the researcher recommends a number of suggestions: for the Ekoleta rice farming community to continue to maintain the existence of bengawan rice so that this bengawan rice will continue to exist at any time.","PeriodicalId":53487,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Social Science Education","volume":"1 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-06-12","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"90612212","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

It is even more interesting when the village as a socio-cultural community is drawn into a socio-political community unit and made into a government unit. Organizing villages as one of the units of government in the Indonesian government system has experienced a long and increasingly interesting historical journey. Understanding the village as a legal community unit in its socio-cultural ties as a base for the formation of the village as one of the units of government in the Indonesian government system is absolute. The customs that live, attached to the journey of civilization of indigenous peoples actually contain many values that are expected to be a preference in arranging them into a village government unit. The right way and method will become a model and approach in organizing village governance based on the values of customs that apply in the indigenous community, of course, depending on how to give a role or customs play a role in its own socio-cultural position in village governance. In the end, customs that live in the hearts of indigenous peoples, have always been a way of life, lived diligently, have turned out to be a resource and potential, which contributes effectively in various aspects of the lives of indigenous peoples and is not easily eroded by the invasion of other systems outside it.","PeriodicalId":53487,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Social Science Education","volume":"37 1 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-06-12","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"86707827","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Specifically, this research is aimed at describing the development planning process at the research location and identifying and explaining the supporting and inhibiting factors. Through qualitative descriptive research, it is described more accurately from observations made in full about a symptom or social situation including through observation and interviews. Some of the selected informants are government officials, community organizations and community members. The analysis was carried out by examining the data obtained from various sources and informants. The results obtained from this study indicate that (1) the application of participatory principles in the process of planning development programs in the village of Kekasewa can be said to be running even though it does not fully follow the principles of, by and for the community, (2) the process of planning development programs in the village Kekasewa has carried out a participatory development program planning process, the steps of which include: reviewing the situation or reviewing the situation, identifying future needs, identifying available resources and agreeing on a plan. In addition, the results that can be recorded from the field show that of the four main factors that influence the participatory planning process at the research location, two of these factors (the existence of mutual trust and democratic agreement) are proven to be supporting factors in the planning process of development programs/activities. As for the other two factors (professionalism of human resources and understanding of development issues themselves) in general they have not shown their role in supporting the \"smooth\" process of development program planning and have instead become obstacles to the planning process. Regarding the results of the research above, several important things that are recommended in this study are (1) maintaining the existing planning process because it essentially fulfills the principles of the community by the community and for the community. Even if there must be corrective steps, it is recommended to sharpen and reinforce the function and role of the Musbangdus and Musbangdes forums as a vehicle for screening/selection by applying a priority scale, (2) considering the function of the Musbangdus and Musbangdes as a means or medium of dissemination for existing proposed plans, whether those proposed by residents or sectoral plan proposals, (3) utilizing customary institutions through a joint agreement with the village government to instill relevant values to all members of the community to pay more attention to time issues, for example through \"wora nau\" (meaningful messages) conveyed by the mosalaki the day before the meeting, and (4) raising awareness through training regarding self-help surv","PeriodicalId":53487,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Social Science Education","volume":"1 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-06-12","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"83585806","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The data technique used a questionnaire with data analysis using the product moment display formula, interval formula, proportion, and Chi squared. The results show that: The use of ICT-based learning media in PPKn learning in this study is very influential in improving the citizenship skills of students at SMP Tri Sukses Natar. This is evidenced by the results of the calculation which show that x ^ 2 count = 37.09 then consulted with Chi Square at a significant level of 5% (0.05) and degrees of freedom = 4, then the x ^ 2 table = 9.49 is obtained. Thus x ^ 2 count is smaller than x ^ 2 table (x ^ 2 count ≥ x ^ 2 table), which is 37.09 ≥ 9.49.
