Data were collected through an online questionnaire containing sociodemographic, clinical, and reproductive data, as well as the Reproductive Autonomy Scale. The Mann-Whitney and Student's t tests were used to compare variables.</p><p><strong>Results: </strong>significant differences were found between the average scores of \"decision-making\" and marital status (p = <0.001); and \"absence of coercion\" and \"communication\" with age group (p = 0.03 e <0.001), residence (p = <0.001 and <0.01), schooling level (p = 0.02 e 0.02), pregnancy (p = <0.001 e 0.04) and contraception (p = 0.02 e <0.001).</p><p><strong>Conclusion: </strong>not having a sexual partner positively influenced autonomy in reproductive decision-making during the COVID-19 pandemic. Women of younger age, living in the capital, with higher education levels, who had never been pregnant, and who used contraceptives during the pandemic showed greater autonomy in the absence of coercion and communication. It was possible to identify the groups that require greater attention and interventions to support their sexual health and reproductive choices.</p><p><strong>Background: </strong>(1) A high reproductive autonomy score was observed even during the pandemic. (2) Not having a stable partner positively influenced reproductive decision-making. (3) Women living in the capital, of younger age, and with lower education levels experienced less coercion. (4) Being nulligravida and using contraception were associated with less coercion and better communication. Data was collected using three instruments: the sample characterization form, the Brazilian version of the Advanced Practice Nurse Competency Assessment Instrument and the Therapeutic Interventions category of the Nurse Competency Scale. Construct validity was verified using confirmatory factor analysis and Spearman's correlation coefficient. Reliability was assessed using Cronbach's alpha and composite reliability.</p><p><strong>Results: </strong>in the factor analysis, the model converged on a satisfactory result, with six items excluded, resulting in an instrument with 38 items distributed over eight dimensions. In convergent construct validity, positive, significant correlations were observed (p<0.0001) and ranged from weak to moderate in magnitude (r=0.2701 and r=0.397). Satisfactory evidence was found through the Composite Reliability analysis (0.78-0.89).</p><p><strong>Conclusion: </strong>the instrument showed evidence of construct validity and internal consistency. It could be used to help implement strategies for developing advanced practice in nursing.</p><p><strong>Background: </strong>(1) Encourage discussion on Advanced Practice Nursing (APN) in Brazil. (2) To provide an instrument for evaluating APN in Primary Health Care. (3) To help implement APN in Brazil in Primary Health Care. (4) The Brazilian version of the instrument can be applied in different contexts. The data analysis was guided by French discourse analysis, interpreted through the lens of Urie Bronfenbrenner's theory.</p><p><strong>Results: </strong>three categories emerged from the participants' perceptions: innovation and utility; theory applicability in practice; reinterpreting attitudes of austerity and impatience towards children; disciplining rather than punishing children: dilemmas and challenges. {"title":"Coordination of care in health systems for users with diabetes and hypertension: a scoping review.","authors":"Virgílio Luiz Marques de Macedo, Naira Pereira de Sousa, Ana Cristina Dos Santos, Walterlânia Santos, Marina Morato Stival, Tânia Cristina Morais Santa Barbara Rehem","doi":"10.1590/1518-8345.7198.4428","DOIUrl":"10.1590/1518-8345.7198.4428","url":null,"abstract":"<p><strong>Objective: </strong>to map the available evidence on the characteristics of care coordination between Primary Health Care and Specialized Outpatient Care for users with diabetes and hypertension.</p><p><strong>Method: </strong>this is a scoping review with 40 articles as the final sample, evaluated by means of Content Analysis, of the thematic-categorical type, with the aid of a technological tool.</p><p><strong>Results: </strong>care coordination was defined by means of eight categories: information and communication, integration of care, improvement and quality, care management, care sharing, fundamental attribute, health professionals and health service users, with the results of the articles concentrating mainly on four categories, with information and communication standing out, followed by the category of care management and the category of care sharing, in parallel with improvement and quality.</p><p><strong>Conclusion: </strong>technological tools are a first step in ensuring the coordination of care, proving to be a significant feature, with emphasis on studies on the sharing of information between health services through electronic medical records. Two calculations were used to size the nursing staff. In addition to other components, calculation I converted the Nursing Activities Score into minutes and hours; and calculation II used this score on a denominator corresponding to one nursing professional/day, considering two types of work shifts. In both equations, the proportion of 52% of nurses was respected.</p><p><strong>Results: </strong>in the 9,610 evaluations, the mean of Nursing Activities Score was 85.9% (80.8% to 96.4%). While calculation I estimated 164 professionals, calculation II projected 176 and 140 workers for five and four shifts, respectively. The difference in nurses between the methods was 18 professionals.</p><p><strong>Conclusion: </strong>the choice of the calculation and the number of work shifts substantially interfere in the estimation of intensive care nursing staff. The data collection was conducted by means of depth- interviews to 20 general nurses from the emergency and clinical medicine departments from the Atlántida General Hospital. Data analysis was by thematic technique.</p><p><strong>Results: </strong>the research found three key themes, and 10 subthemes, which illustrated the quality of stroke patients care in a general hospital from Honduras. The finding points up the theme \"negative outcomes regarding the structure dimension of the patient care units\", which means the failure to improve or maintain the quality of healthcare. Likewise, \"positive outcomes regarding the nursing process\", defined as pleasant and helpful among the care of stroke patients, such as ethical and humanized caring, and activities on promoting patient self-care with involvement of the relatives.</p><p><strong>Conclusion: </strong>the results indicate that Honduran nurses do not have qualified graduate training in critical care, which is a limitation that compromises the quality of care. We established the \"quality of home visits\" and its association with the characteristics of the municipalities, teams and individuals, estimated by the prevalence ratio and 95% confidence intervals.</p><p><p>139,362 (99.2%) users said the health team had community workers. The prevalence of quality was 51.9%. The following was calculated: Concordance Index and Usability Score.</p><p><p>in the validation process, the app achieved a Concordance Index of 0.97; ranging from 0.82 to 1.0 across the items analyzed. In the evaluation, the index was 0.99, varying from 0.95 to 1.0. In usability of the first version, the Concordance Index was 0.92 and the Usability Score was 93. Ten databases and four platforms referring to gray literature were included. Studies were selected after duplicates were removed and individual and peer reviews were carried out. Similarity analysis was used to identify competition between words and their results.</p><p><p>20 studies on VR for the elderly were mapped, the majority of which used non-immersive devices. The main purpose of using VR with the elderly is to improve and/or rehabilitate functions that decline with aging, either physiologically or as a result of illness or injury. VR devices are a potential tool for the prevention of falls and cognitive decline and favor the performance of instrumental activities of daily living.
