The main activity components of this type of project consist of feasibility assessment, engineering design, procurement and construction. In construction projects very often delays occur where the realization in the field does not match the schedule of the implementation plan, due to several factors that occur, even though a careful plan has been prepared but in practice in the field there are still many problems in implementation. The purpose of this study was to determine the cost and time performance in the implementation that took place from week -1 to week 17 on the Subali Bridge Construction project, Sutojayan Kec. (D.G.008), Blitar Regency using Earned Value. From the results of the analysis it can be seen that the costs incurred are lower than the planned costs, this can be seen in the CPI value of 1.28 while the implementation time is slower than the planned schedule indicated by the SPI value of 0.71. The results of the calculation of the estimated project cost of Rp. 8,214,904,015.36 with a budget plan of Rp. 10,502,000,000.00 there is an efficiency of Rp. 2,287,095.64 (21.78%). with an estimated completion time of 19.43 weeks, indicating that the project is delayed for 2.43 weeks from the planned 17 weeks.","PeriodicalId":475177,"journal":{"name":"INTERNATIONAL JOURNAL ON ADVANCED TECHNOLOGY ENGINEERING AND INFORMATION SYSTEM (IJATEIS)","volume":"25 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-01-18","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"140504176","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Delays in project completion that exceed the time limit specified in the contract cause losses both from the contractor as the executor and the assignor. Project implementers pay more attention to the cost aspects incurred and often ignore the time control of project implementation so that project implementation often experiences delays in work. The purpose of this study is to analyze the time efficiency carried out by the provider from the beginning of the work, during monitoring, to the end of the project implementation. And estimate how much it costs from the start of work, when monitoring until the project is completed using the Earned Value Method. From the analysis, results and discussion of the Bondowoso Polije Campus Administration Building project, it can be concluded that the project work time exceeds 2,543 weeks for the total work and will experience a loss of Rp 393,323,318.10 from the reduction of the total contract minus the total financing. Therefore, the construction management proposes to shift the work schedule to work that does not require the achievement of the main construction. In addition, the contractor should communicate to the assignor of the Administration Building project to increase the duration of the administrative building construction project work. And participate in finding alternative suppliers of the main material without having to wait for the vendor to get the material needed.","PeriodicalId":475177,"journal":{"name":"INTERNATIONAL JOURNAL ON ADVANCED TECHNOLOGY ENGINEERING AND INFORMATION SYSTEM (IJATEIS)","volume":"17 6","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-01-18","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"140503915","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Construction activities can be declared successful in their management if they produce work products with the quality criteria that have been determined, on time, and according to the agreed costs. Using EVM (Earned Value Method) in project management can be used to determine cost performance and implementation time during the project and the indicators used for analysis include: BCWP (Budget Cost of Work Performance), BCWS (Budget Cost of Work Schedule), ACWP (Actual Cost of Work Performance), SV (Schedule Variance), CV (Cost Variance), SPI (Schedule Performance Index), CPI (Cost Performance Index), EAS (Estimated At Schedule) and ETS (Estimated Temporary Schedule). By using this method in the Sports Facilities Construction Project, Kecamatan Kedewan, Kabupaten Bojonegoro, the ACWP (Actual Cost of Work Performed), BCWP (Budgeted Cost of Work Performed), and BCWS (Budgeted Cost of Scheduled) values were obtained. The CV value obtained <0 in weeks 1 to 7 indicates that the costs incurred were greater than the plan, but in weeks 8 to 15 the CV value >0 means that in that week the costs incurred were less than the plan. Meanwhile, meaning the project is experiencing a delay from plan. So it is necessary to use one method in the implementation of its control. This study aims to analyze the time and cost of the Raci OPD Office Building Construction project. The benefit of this research is to anticipate potential delays that occur in the project. The problem limitation is focused on work that has not been completed in the remaining time of the contract period. To analyze time and cost, this research uses Critical Path Method (CPM) and Time-Cost Trade- Off (TCTO) which begins with determining the work network and critical path. TCTO analysis is carried out by shortening the duration of work by adding 3 hours of overtime and calculating the Crash Slope of each job on the critical path. Rescheduling is done by accelerating the work that has the lowest cost The results showed that the most effective rescheduling was carried out on the Lt.3 Installation and Plastering work with the acquisition of an acceleration duration of 8 days. The location of toll exits has a significant effect in absorbing labor and creating new business activities. Projects are dynamic, so contractors must be responsive to changes in situations and conditions on the project, if they want to succeed in reaping optimum profits. Aspects of planning a highly competitive construction at this time are very demanding on accuracy, effectiveness, efficiency, and economy in analyzing a project. In the world of construction projects, there are many things that can be done, one of which is cost control. In controlling costs, efforts can be made so that the realization of costs that occur is in accordance with the needs of implementation and is not excessive, such as cost suppression efforts, namely making savings without reducing quantity or quality. The Earned Value Method is used to determine project performance in terms of costs at one time, determine project performance in terms of schedule/time at one time, estimate costs to complete the project after the evaluation time and estimate the time to complete the project after the evaluation.
