Considering the implications of such decisions for organizations and society, in this paper, we identify the seven most frequently used criteria in dismissal decisions and examine their importance for managers. We collected data through a survey among 385 managers and used the rational ranking and the multicriteria Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) to analyze them. The results show that commitment, performance records, and trust have the greatest impact on the dismissal decision, whereas interpersonal relationship, growth potential, and professional experience are considered secondary criteria. There are 43 barriers in the literature of which 13 were validated: support and involvement (five), operational per­formance (three), economic performance (two), environmental performance (two), and knowledge and information (one). The validation occurred through the perception of technical and academic specialists familiar with environmental management and supply chains in several sectors. The hierarchy of barriers priorities was obtained through the application of the Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP), with decision makers representing an industry in the automotive sector. Online social network sites (SNS) grew as a common platform for online social interaction. SNS firms generate revenue from the advertising appearing on SNS. Their survival depends on users’ approval of such social network advertising (SNA). Marketing literature indicates that users accept advertising if it is consistent with their motivations for using social media. Information seeking is the most recognized SNS motivation. Yet, research on evaluating the influence of SNS information motivation on users’ approval of SNA is scarce. We adopted the case study approach and collected data through interviews, document analysis, and observation. The results showed that the processes of implementation of lean healthcare in the hospitals shared many similarities in terms of the flow of patients, materials, or information. Its fans, called potterheads, relate in a social space known as fandom. Their practices are based on the appropriation of the cultural text in a productive consumption process within a context of participa­tory culture. Assuming desire from the perspective of Deleuzian assemblage theory, which presents this concept as a flow of productive energy that is articulated through a collective force, this study aimed to understand how potterheads’ productive consumption is assemblaged by desire. We therefore explored multifocal data concerning practices of potterheads available on digital platforms using Foucauldian Discourse Analysis. Our results revealed that potterheads’ desire assemblage maintains their bond with the canonical universe of the saga, as a way of maintaining identity and security in the transition to adult life, through relationships in the fandom and in pursuit of broader social legitimacy. This paper analyzed a socio-centric network composed of 32 cultural organizations in Andalusia to measure this increase. Multiple Regression Quadratic Assignment Proce­dure (MR-QAP) at the dyadic level, showed that perceptions of affinity (i.e., homophily) and the possibility of establishing contacts in the future, can exert influence on the establishment of informal contacts. At the internal level, an organization’s brokerage position in collaboration project networks is related to the volume of business and the old in the sector. However, one of the most important authors in the area of business administration in Brazil stated that about 20 years ago—when I was a newcomer to the academy—I expressed my frustration with the imperfections I identified in the management of the school. The following line never ceased to echo in my mind: “We are famous for teaching business administration, not for managing.” Unfortunately, I found that this phrase was not a criticism, but a fact.The motivation for this text comes from the idea expressed by the phrase above. However, it is necessary to emphasize that this is a partial vision and that forums in which Brazilian graduate programs in business administration participate tend to focus on concise discussions instead of deepening discussions on topics that affect the management of these programs.First, the most relevant stakeholders were listed, and their pressing interests were identified (subject to confirmation).
