However, due to some natural or human intervention behavior, the system state will be subjected to some relatively short time interference, so that the system state changes in an instant. This sudden change of state makes the system not simply described by continuous or discrete dynamical systems, but by means of impulse dynamical systems. In this paper, the multi-point boundary value problem of a class of second-order nonlinear impulsive integral differential equations is studied on the basis of impulsive differential equation theory. The main results of this kind of equation are obtained by using the fixed point theorem of strict set contraction operator. Under certain assumptions, the existence of the solution of the equation is proved by constructing the operator on the special cone. Finally, combined with the practical application, the theory was applied to the stability prediction of biological ecosystem, and the correctness of the conclusion was verified.","PeriodicalId":43667,"journal":{"name":"Muenster Journal of Mathematics","volume":null,"pages":null},"PeriodicalIF":0.5,"publicationDate":"2023-06-19","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"84234085","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Using a traveling wave transformation, the GKE is transformed into a nonlinear second order ordinary differential equation (ODE). Using Lie point symmetry analysis, the nonlinear second-order ODE is reduced to a first-order ODE. However, it fails to obtain information with greyness. The grey fuzzy set (GFS) can improve this problem but studies on it have lost the advantages of IVHFS. In order to improve the accuracy of decision-making and obtain more reasonable results, it is important to enhance the description of real-life information. We combined IVHFS and GFS and defined a novel fuzzy set named interval grey hesitant fuzzy set (IGHFS), in which possible degrees of grey numbers are designed to indicate the upper and lower limits of the interval number. Meanwhile, its basic operational laws, score function, entropy method, and distance measures are proposed. And then, a multicriteria decision-making (MCDM) model IGHFS-TOPSIS is developed based on them. Finally, an example of MOOC platform selection issues for teaching courses illustrates the effectiveness and feasibility of the decision model under the IGHFS.","PeriodicalId":43667,"journal":{"name":"Muenster Journal of Mathematics","volume":null,"pages":null},"PeriodicalIF":0.5,"publicationDate":"2023-06-14","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"78634220","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

We state a necessary definition and theorem in terms of consistency for convergence, and finally, we compare the obtained numerical results of two different methods with analytical solution using two different numerical examples. In addition to that, we generalize the solutions obtained by RK-6 Huta and RK-6 Butcher methods (same order different stage methods) for both the problems we handled. We are proposing these two methods in order to reduce the error in accuracy and to establish these two methods are better than any other existing numerical methods. The best of two sixth-order methods are found by the error analysis study for both the problems. Also, we show whether the change in number of stages of same order methods affects the accuracy of the approximation or not.","PeriodicalId":43667,"journal":{"name":"Muenster Journal of Mathematics","volume":null,"pages":null},"PeriodicalIF":0.5,"publicationDate":"2023-06-12","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"75636775","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
