The general problem in this study, \"what is the meaning and symbolic value of marriage customs in the Dayak Uud Danum ethnic group, Buntut Village, the Head of the Ambalau District, Sintang Regency?\". The general objective of this research is to \"know and describe the meaning and symbolic value of marriage customs in the Uud Danum Dayak ethnic group, Buntut Pimpin Village, Ambalau District, Sintang Regency\". The approach used in this research is a qualitative approach with a descriptive method. Data collection techniques used are observation techniques, interview guides and documentation. Informants in this study were the Elders and Traditional Management of Buntut Pimpin Village. The results of this study indicate that there are three stages of traditional ceremonies/rituals in the marriage customs of the Uud Danum Dayak ethnicity, namely the customary application / engagement (Nyepohtin and Kisok), the customary marriage (Hosahki'), and the closing custom (Posarak Adat). In every series of implementation of the traditional wedding ceremony activities, symbols are used in the form of traditional activities/rituals and symbols in the form of objects. Tenun ikat is used in traditional activities, weddings, and so on. This study aims to examine the philosophy of Tiang Belumbah motifs and Pelangka motifs, ethnomathematical activities, and mathematical concepts contained in tenun ikat in the Sintang district. The research method used in this study is a qualitative method with an ethnographic approach. Data was obtained by using interview and documentation methods. The subjects in this study were the women of the village Dayak tribe who made ikat in Ensaid Panjang Village, Kelam Permai District, Sintang Regency. Based on data analysis, it was found that the philosophy of the Tiang Belumbah motif symbolizes security and the Pelangka motif symbolizes prosperity, the ethnomathematical activities identified in Sintang district tenun ikat are explaining, counting, measuring, and designing. Data collection techniques in this study were observation, interviews and documentation. The data source of this research is Sheikh Husin Bahtib. The data collection tool is the writer as the main instrument. Checking the validity of the data from this study triangulation of sources and techniques of adding observations. Data analysis in this study is to find, compile and conclude. The results of this study on the organology of the Kecapak musical instrument, showed that the Kecapak musical instrument had a skin and Tawang study structure. Shows materials such as wood, leather, rope and iron as well as tools used by carpentry tools. The process of making Kecapak musical instruments is made in the traditional way assisted by machines for smoothing so that the process of making Kecapak musical instruments in Belitang 1 Village, Belitang District, Sekadau Regency is quite complicated, such as forming holes in wood to make Tawang which must be installed and attached to a membrane using iron rings and ropes. The methodology used in this research was descriptive study in the form of qualitative research. Subjects of this research were the vice principal of students affairs, PPKn teacher, BK teacher, and students. These data subjects were selected based on certain considerations. The techniques data collection were observation, interview, and documentation. The techniques of data analysis consisted data reduction analysis, data presentation, and conclusion. The findings showed that the formation civic disposition in PPKn learning was done through lesson plan which was adapted from character building, implementing the PPKn learning which was integrated with character building and attitude assessment done by PPKn teacher. In addition, the formation civic disposition was also done outside the learning process through routine activities, spontaneity, conditioning, and exemplary. The civic disposition of the students was said to be good. It was marked by the emergence private and public characters. Private characters included self discipline, respecting the worth and dignity every human being from every individual, and being morally responsible. There were 32 participants of this research. The data collecting method that the researcher used was qualitative data. As for the instruments used were spoken test (oral performance test). There were three phases that the researcher underwent to collect the data for the research. The first phase was the pre-test, which then was followed by the treatments, and then as the last phase post-test was given. The treatments were given in three consecutive days. Each treatment was given in 35-minute duration. From the data calculation and analysis, the mean score for the pre-test was 3.98 meanwhile the post-test was 7.85. Thus, the students’ pronunciation was improved by 3.87 points or 32.71%. Based on the result, it can be concluded that teaching pronunciation using Tongue Twister was well-accepted by the students and has significantly improved their pronunciation of digraph sound ‘sh’ /∫/.
