PEMERTAHANAN BAHASA MADURA DI KELURAHAN BANSIR DARAT KECAMATAN PONTIANAK TENGGARA KOTA PONTIANAK

This article is entitled "Maintenance of the Madurese language in Bansir Darat Village, Southeast Pontianak District, Pontianak City". This article was conducted to determine the preservation of the Madurese language in Bansir Darat Village. The method used in this study is a mixed method.The data sources in this study are the Madurese ethnic community and prominent people. The techniques used in this research are interview, survey, and listening techniques. The tools used in the study were a list of questions, notebooks, writing instruments, devices as recording and documentation devices. The results of this study indicate that the Madurese language is still used to surviv in several domains, especially in the family realm, this is also supported by the positive attitude factor towards the Madurese language by the Madurese ethnic community in Bansir Darat Village Southeast Pontianak District, Pontianak City. Thus, it can be said that the preservation of the Madurese language in Bansir Darat Village is still maintained.
