The results of this study indicate thatfostering the application of politeness norms through the role ofPPKn teachers at SMPN 3 Sanggau is carried out by: (1) The role ofPPKn teachers in fostering the application of politeness norms atSMPN 3 Sanggau is carried out in the classroom and outside theclassroom. In class, it is done through introduction, core and closing.While outside the classroom, it is carried out through routine,spontaneous and exemplary activities. (2) PPKn teachers inmotivating students in applying politeness norms at SMPN 3Sanggau, in the classroom the teacher acts as a facilitator, role modeland advisor, and outside the classroom the PPKn teacher cooperateswith the BK teacher.
