The fact is that in schools, there are still many educators who still need to achieve learning goals, especially learning maharah kalam. Therefore, the problem in schools is the low value of students in learning maharah kalam. This is due to an educator's need for more initiative in using several components that support the achievement of learning goals. One of these components is the learning method. Thus, the researchers used the picture-and-picture Learning method to develop students' Maharah Kalam. This study aimed to determine how the picture and picture method has influenced the development of Arabic speaking skills among students in MAN 2 Situbondo. In this study, researchers used quantitative approaches and types of experiments. This study's experiments and data collection methods use tests, questionnaires, observation, and documentary. Analysis of the data using the formula of the product of moments: r = nΣxy – (Σx)(Σy) /√{nΣx² – (Σx)²} {nΣy2 – (Σy)2}. The results of this study showed that the effect of the picture-and-picture method on the development of students ' speaking skills at an error rate of 5% is powerful. The average test result in the experimental class was 86.7, and in the observation class, 69.9. This study used a quantitative research approach with a correlational method. Data was collected through questionnaires with a sample of 25% of the total population, namely 33 people. The results showed that PBA IAIN Madura students often use colloquial in Indonesian, especially to their friends, and the morals of PBA IAIN Madura students are excellent, which is shown by a score of 88.26%. The results of the analysis obtained also stated that rXY = -0.464 with N of 33 and a significance level of 5%, then r-table = 0.344. From this data, it can be concluded that recalculate < r-table. For example translating Arabic into Indonesian. Studying this translation method, students are able to broaden their knowledge, be able to master foreign languages and have the ability to translate them. In addition, students can easily, without hesitation, and dare to say words or speak Arabic to their teachers, friends and the people around them. So accustomed to speaking Arabic in everyday life without fear of being wrong. This research approach is quantitative, while this type of research is descriptive quantitative. The population in this study were 127 students of Arabic language education semester VI Batch 19, while the sample taken from some classes was 38 students. The techniques used to collect data in this study include: observation, interviews, questionnaires, and documentation. Then the data analysis technique uses quantitative descriptive statistics, validity test, reliability test, normality test, homogeneity test, simple linear regression analysis test, coefficient of determination test and t test. Conclusion This study is based on test results, the coefficient of determination (R Square) = 0.533 or 53.3%. This means that the translation fauriyah learning variable from Indonesian to Arabic (x) affects the speaking skill variable (y) = 53.3%. While the rest (100% - 53.3% = 46.7%) is influenced by other variables, namely variables that are not examined. Thus the value of the coefficient or calculation of r is 0.533 greater than the value of r table, which means the null hypothesis (Ho) is rejected and (Ha) is accepted. Meanwhile, based on the results of the midterm and final semester exams, around 80% students experienced an increase. The average student scores 88. The research method used by the researcher is ADDIE's RND (research and Development), and this model includes five steps: analysis, design, Development, implementation, and evaluation. Researchers used data collection methods: interviews, observations, documentation, and questionnaires. This study has two types of data analysis: qualitative data and quantitative data. The teaching materials used in grade 5 are not by the objectives of learning Arabic because Arabic teaching materials must include four skills, and these teaching materials do not have material related to speaking skills except evaluation-based, making it difficult for students to learn. Based on these problems, the researchers raised the focus of research on 1) the design of teaching materials, 2) the Validity of teaching materials, and 3) how effective the use of teaching materials. This study aims to produce teaching materials entitled “Al Muhawarah Lil Mubadiin” based on local culture so that the learning process runs effectively and becomes a solution to the problems above. This research includes Research and Development (R&D) with the ADDIE model for data collection using observation techniques, interviews, questionnaires, and documentation. The data sample is all students of class V. The product trial uses qualitative and quantitative. In qualitative, researchers have obtained data on the effectiveness of students, which were then tested with the Cronbach Alpha formula, Product Moment, questionnaire data analysis, and the coefficient of determination. The researcher conducted trials using qualitative and quantitative methods. The researcher obtained data on the effectiveness of students on the product using a qualitative approach. In the movie, the phenomenon of code-switching and code-mixing in communication between students in the boarding school environment is found. This study aims to discover the types of code-switching and code-mixing in the Bajra film and the causes of their occurrence in the movie. This type of research is qualitative descriptive. At the same time, the data collection method uses listening/listening techniques in the Bajra film and notes essential points about the types of code-switching and code-mixing as well as the causes of what happened in the movie. The results showed that there were 3 types of code-switching in Bajra film: Metaphorical code-switching, Conversational code-switching, and situational code-switching. Meanwhile, code-mixing occurs in words, phrases, and clauses.
