The foundation of reading and writing teaching is to grasp reading first, and then promote writing by reading. However, the current situation is that students are not able to read effectively. At the same time, teachers have a lot of confusion about the current reading teaching. However, the traditional paper-and-pencil test, which focuses on memory, still dominates the evaluation in actual English classroom in senior high school. Students always stay in a superficial and passive learning stage, and the cultivation of higher-order thinking ability is still in a vague state. The evaluation of higher-order thinking ability based on performance assessment has become an urgent need for high school English learning. Under the premise of pointing out the significance and dilemma of higher-order thinking ability, this paper analyzes the applicableness of performance assessment to evaluate and develop students’ higher-order thinking ability. However, the existing research has not provided a practical evaluation framework or norms for teaching. Therefore, this study is devoted to establishing a specific performance assessment framework. The results show that digital economy development can significantly reduce regional carbon emission intensity. Among them, factors such as digital industry development and digital technology innovation play a major role. The digital economy can effectively reduce carbon emissions by optimizing industrial structure. The strong driving force of the digital economy has become a catalyst for carbon reduction. In early literature work, English subjunctive mood was widely used. However, nowadays the frequency of English subjunctive mood has declined, far from that in the past. There are several reasons accountable for its decline: (1) English users tend to use easier declarative mood to replace English subjunctive mood. (2) English users ignore some commonly used structures. (3) English users understand its pragmatic functions incomprehensively. Firstly, it briefly introduces English subjunctive mood, covering the definition, classification, and development. Next, it puts much emphasis on the analysis of pragmatic functions of English subjunctive mood, euphemism function and emphasis function. At last, it offers some suggestions on the teaching of English subjunctive mood. The focus was on analyzing the data situation and emission rates of different mountain scenes, and analyzing the carbon emission characteristics of road traffic in Chongqing. Through the analysis and comparison of data, it is shown that in terms of the carbon emissions characteristics of road traffic in Chongqing, through long-term measurement data analysis of comprehensive road conditions in the central urban area of Chongqing, it is found that compared with the general emissions of common small vehicles (100-150 kg/km), the comprehensive carbon emissions of road traffic in Chongqing are significantly higher.
