The results show that digital economy development can significantly reduce regional carbon emission intensity. Among them, factors such as digital industry development and digital technology innovation play a major role. The digital economy can effectively reduce carbon emissions by optimizing industrial structure. The strong driving force of the digital economy has become a catalyst for carbon reduction.
