The conducted indicative assessment of foreign and domestic experience in designing cultural and entertainment buildings and complexes showed the dynamics of the development of buildings from monofunctionality to multifunctionality. To form a new perspective on the design of concert halls, design methods have been studied from the point of view of their use in the design of buildings of this type. the considered design strategies applied to the architectural design of multifunctional cultural and entertainment complexes and the identified factors of the formation of cultural and entertainment buildings: external (urban planning, climatic and socio–economic) and internal (spatial planning, acoustic, functional) are designed to streamline and improve the design process of cultural and entertainment buildings. The selection of themes and plots, the selected language is largely determined by the process of searching for the Leningrad identity. It is this factor in the assessment with the basis of preparation that allows artists to talk about Leningrad design as an element of the “Leningrad style” style system. The article states that their connection with the formation of the cultural code of the city and inversely affects the ecological identity of the selection of means of language reproduction. The purpose of this study is to study the nature of Leningrad artists through the prism of the \"Leningrad style\", as an independent phenomenon of the decorative art of the XX century. \u0000The methodological basis of the study is an appeal to the method of art history analysis: comparative and stylistic analysis, methods of iconography and iconology. \u0000As a result of the study, the author comes to the conclusion that in the development of object design it is possible to trace all the main categorical characteristics (both identified and meaningful), properties of the \"Leningrad style\". The result of a systematic approach to the formation of the structure of the new development of Leningrad was the creation of a complex of urban ensembles, based on the principles of architecture of the early 20th century and the traditions of St. Petersburg architecture, which combined peripheral areas with the center. Therefore, it is relevant to study the architectural and spatial features of the formation of the urban environment of Leningrad in the pre-war decade, primarily in the context of the synthesis of the use of techniques in accordance with the needs of the workers of the world's first proletarian state and the preservation of the successive nature of the ensemble development of new urban planning solutions. \u0000The object of the study is the ensemble of Traktornaya Street. (architects A. Gegello, A. Nikolsky, G. Pozharsky parochial school at the Spaso–Efimiev Monastery in the city of Suzdal. The analysis was carried out during the official historical and cultural expertise to state and determine the value category of the object, define the subject of protection, justify the listening of the object in the list of regional objects of cultural heritage. \u0000The building date of the object was clarified, historical spatial and plastic elements were determined, modern distortions and losses were revealed. The specifics of the plan setting are exposed, a detailed description of the architectural features of the monument is presented. \u0000The article presents a detailed description of the architectural features of the monument, reveals the specifics of the town-planning situation. The illustrative material made by the author is presented in the form drawings of plan, major facade and individual architectural elements. A brief historical reference and analysis of existing textual and archival materials containing historical data and information about the value of the studied object are added. \u0000The object of the study is the building of the D.M. Pozharsky parochial school. Within the framework of this work various definitions of the concept of \"art design\" are analyzed. The object of the study is the communication between the observer, the consumer and the designer. The purpose of this paper is to describe the characteristics of this communication. The methods used in the work include: generalization, comparative method, interpretation of the term, tabular forms of data presentation, literature analysis. As a result of this study, the characteristic of communication between the art designer and the consumer is given. The essence of art-design as a game activity is revealed. The concept of \"art-design\" that appeared in the epoch of postmodernism, contains a certain game element - the interaction of the external form of the object and the observer's expectations concerning the form based on the utilitarian function declared by the creator. The semantic component of the art design of objects can be designed by the designer, or be the result of the observer's subjective perception of the object. In both cases, the so-called \"areas of non-identity\" are the space for filling with meanings. The usefulness of art education in art-design activity is outlined. Graphic design does not give a young designer any clear and understandable criteria, measures to assess their success. This study analyzes and defines the criteria for success of a graphic designer in today's world. The object of the study is selected and analyzed the statements of the most famous and successful designers. These discourses are related to questions of success, questions of evaluating one's own skill and personal experiences regarding the graphic designer's place in the profession. Comparative and generalization methods were used to achieve the goal. The aim of this study is to extract from the reflections of highly qualified professional’s ways to verify their own professionalism, their own success, and to formulate them for not yet recognized, young designers. In addition, an attempt is made to identify regulatory tools for aspiring professionals. As a result of the study, the authors form a new understanding of the professional and personal problems of graphic designers, comparing them with the problematization in design design. In addition, the authors arrive at a universal way of verifying professional success. The needs of citizens in general and visitors to a particular building in particular should be considered on a par with economic and functional tasks when designing. The architect is faced with the task of identifying and analyzing the needs in a certain space, limited by a specific functional content. The development of a design solution is preceded by a set of works to determine groups of rooms united by themes or logical connections, as well as taking into account the needs and behavior of potential visitors, i.e., predicting human behavior in certain conditions. \u0000Scenario design is one of those scientific methods whose algorithms, in general, are aimed at creating a number of scenarios (behavioral situations) of a person in the design space in order to identify patterns of influence of the functional environment on human behavior, determining the main trajectories of movement, forming an ergonomic space for use. The application of the scenario design method in architecture is a developing scientific field of knowledge. However, it does not yet have approved generally accepted algorithms and definitions, so the existing interpretations of the approach vary and can be conditionally divided into three groups according to the scope of application, conceptual operational definitions, as well as results.
