This study assumes that there is a correlation between the behavior of shipping couples and different dimensions of female college students’ views on love and marriage and then adopted the questionnaire to conduct quantitative research and analysis. The study found that there is a different degree of correlation between shipping couples and the views on love and marriage, which will provide a certain complement to the current understanding of female college students’ views on love and marriage, and provide a reference for guiding college students to form correct views on love and marriage.","PeriodicalId":408414,"journal":{"name":"Studies in Social Science & Humanities","volume":"13 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-04-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"116237146","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Because prejudice is a problem that affects everyone, no one is immune to it. When prejudice turns into a severe type of bigotry, it can made acts of violence, murder and even genocide. As a result, there has been increasing debate and research into whether prejudice can be avoided. Through course material, related literature, and theories, this paper examines whether prejudice may be avoided. The paper will look at the causes of prejudice, external and implicit prejudice, to see if prejudice is inevitable and suggest possible ways to reduce it.","PeriodicalId":408414,"journal":{"name":"Studies in Social Science & Humanities","volume":"18 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-04-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"115451089","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This report aims to provide a comprehensive overview of the redefined global communication order as discussed in Thussu’s article, with specific emphasis on the role of India and China. Furthermore, this report critically examines the limitations of Thussu’s work, which although paradigm-shifting, does not engage in extensive empirical research. It is hoped that this reader’s report will inspire further scholarship in the field of communication, particularly concerning the study of global media dynamics.","PeriodicalId":408414,"journal":{"name":"Studies in Social Science & Humanities","volume":"93 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-04-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"115154744","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

However, they can also affect traffic congestion and air quality. This paper examines the impact of different first-mile/last-mile solutions for ride-hailing and shared bikes on traffic congestion and air quality in urban areas. Shared bikes are considered an effective solution to reduce vehicle mileage and improve air quality. Several studies have found that shared bike systems have great potential to reduce traffic congestion and emissions. The paper also uses population density and land models to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposal, illustrating the availability of alternative modes such as public transport or walking and cycling infrastructure.","PeriodicalId":408414,"journal":{"name":"Studies in Social Science & Humanities","volume":"33 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-03-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"129153234","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

We administered a short dream theories questionnaire, the Celebrity Attitude Scale (CAS), and the Rational-Experiential Inventory (REI-40) to 122 university students. Key results indicate strong support for the Freudian perspective on dreams with individuals who support that perspective tending to operate more experientially rather than rationally. We did not discover strong relationships between the CAS and the dreams theories questionnaire nor the REI-40. Results are discussed in terms of how the current results fit in the recent empirical literature and how they forge new pathways for future research in the area of belief in pseudoscientific perspectives and parasocial relationships.","PeriodicalId":408414,"journal":{"name":"Studies in Social Science & Humanities","volume":"17 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-03-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"126794828","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Due to their intricacy, some antitrust proceedings remain ongoing, involving protracted timeframes and substantial financial resources. Nonetheless, the impetus and consequences of these cases are already affecting prevailing and forthcoming antitrust laws and policies. Given the significant role of major internet enterprises in the digital economy era, their adherence to equitable competition principles will engender an indelible impact on global economic development. Drawing on retrospective analysis, this study aims to elucidate the laws and trends undergirding antitrust regulations and practices within the digital economy milieu and to explore prospective transformations, pointing out the lack of regulation on data-monopoly and corresponding threats to the fair competition, thereby affording enlightenment for the realm of antitrust law, public policy-makers, and large technology enterprises.","PeriodicalId":408414,"journal":{"name":"Studies in Social Science & Humanities","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-03-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"129310463","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The role of SSR is particularly important in the context of the global war on terror, which brings together decision-makers from different civil and military organisations. However, SSR has been repeatedly criticised in practice as a theory that is sound in theory but problematic in practice, as SSR processes tend to ignore the reform agenda of recipient countries, have overly optimistic estimates of reform structures, and mostly focus on technocratic settings rather than on the political context of recipient countries. This paper aims to analyse the security sector reform in Afghanistan between 2002 and 2014 in terms of the dilemmas faced in reforming the military, police and justice systems and to analyse the effectiveness of this reform in terms of the criteria set by the OECD. It also verifies whether the security sector reform does have these problems. The results show that despite the billions of dollars invested in this reform, there has been limited success. The results are disappointing according to the OECD's criteria and the problems that have arisen.","PeriodicalId":408414,"journal":{"name":"Studies in Social Science & Humanities","volume":"8 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-03-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"114810644","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

As a theme of the study of legal aesthetics, law and music has always been talked about by scholars. At present, the research on the theme of law and music is mainly divided into four parts, and it is also the four-level progressive relationship between law and music. First, the copyright law on music. Second, the interaction of law and music in the process of development. Third, the similarity between law and music. Fourth, the essential connection and internal unity of law and music.
