{"title":"Smarter Mobility for Better Urban Development: An Exploration of Urban Smart Transportation Governance Based on International Comparison","authors":"Hongze Tan","doi":"10.56397/sssh.2023.05.01","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.56397/sssh.2023.05.01","url":null,"abstract":"Smart mobility is essential in achieving sustainable urban development during the (upcoming) digital era. This study focuses on exploring an integrated governance approach for the development of smart mobility through the comparison of international cases. Specifically, we examine six cities—Amsterdam, Singapore, New York, Beijing, Shanghai, and Shenzhen—through text collection and analysis. This study reveals three key findings. First, the urban features of each city, especially the relationship between the land and population, significantly impact the direction and design of smart mobility development. Second, while the development of smart mobility systems in various cities shows similarities, specific differences still exist. Third, the contrast in governance patterns between Chinese and non-Chinese cities lies in the government’s role. This kind of difference also differs from one Chinese city to another, especially in the relationship between the local government and relevant businesses. By examining existing social science research and utilizing data from TikTok, this study seeks to understand how young users engage with the platform and the role it plays in shaping their activities. To develop profit maximization strategy, it must follow scientific methods in every step of production and distribution. Only proper decisions can propel the industry smoothly in sustainable way. This study attempts to discuss economic effects of Lagrange multiplier when per unit costs of various inputs increase. In this paper the method of Lagrange multiplier is applied to represent higher dimensional unconstrained problem from the lower dimensional constrained problem. Cobb-Douglas production function, 6×6 bordered Hessian matrix, and 6×6 Jacobian are operated here to provide economic predictions appropriately. The crypto-asset market is currently one of the markets that the Financial Conduct Authority regulates to a lesser extent, so this paper uses this as an example to analyse the various risks that the crypto-asset market may pose in terms of consumer protection, financial crime, and systemic risk, and then explores a series of regulatory measures that the Financial Conduct Authority is currently taking to address these risks, such as consumer protection guidance, anti-money laundering directives, regulatory The discussion then explores the range of regulatory measures currently being taken by the FCA to address these risks, such as consumer protection guidance, anti-money laundering directives, regulatory sandboxes, etc. Finally, the need for effective regulation of financial markets is analysed in terms of enhancing consumer confidence, promoting financial innovation, and protecting good financial competition. Why do bullies act the way they do? Some researchers have hypothesised that bullies seek to establish themselves as the most popular and influential members of their peer group. Aiming to improve one’s social standing is intrinsically linked to being part of a group, despite being an individual motivation.
