Mulyadi, Ferry Herdianto","doi":"10.24114/gr.v11i2.39274","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.24114/gr.v11i2.39274","url":null,"abstract":"This research is motivated by the culture of the people of Central Bengkulu which has begun to show symptoms of a shift towards extinction, for this reason efforts to map and develop traditional cultural arts in Central Bengkulu Regency as a whole are needed. This study aims to describe the mapping and development of Central Bengkulu arts and culture. This research method uses qualitative research with data collection techniques in the form of observation, documentation and interviews. The data analysis technique uses an interactive model consisting of three principles, namely: data reduction components, data presentation, and drawing and testing conclusions. The results of the study show that preserving cultural arts in Central Bengkulu is quite concerning because the people of Central Bengkulu adhere to traditional art forms which are really attached to the traditional ceremonies of the Malay people. Ways of cultural development that are seen as strategic include; 1) Re-vitalization, namely by reviving or organizing culture as the embodiment of or reviving a culture that has been destroyed. 2) Re-construction, namely in the form of compiling or rearranging old cultural points that still exist. 3) Re-event, namely creating and building events for cultural performances and exhibitions.Keywords: mapping, development, art, culture. AbstrakPenelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh kebudayaan masyarakat Bengkulu Tengah sudah mulai menunjukan gejala pergeseran kearah kepunahan, untuk itu diperlukan upaya pemetaan dan pengembangan seni budaya tradsional Kabupaten Bengkulu Tengah secara menyeluruh. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan pemetaan dan pengembangan seni budaya Bengkulu Tengah. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data berupa observasi, dokumentasi dan wawancara. Teknik analisis data menggunakan model interaktif yang terdiri tiga prinsip yaitu: komponen reduksi data (data reduction), penyajian data (data display) dan penarikan serta pengujian kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dalam melestarikan seni budaya di Bengkulu Tengah cukup memprihatinkan karena masyarakat Bengkulu Tengah berpegang teguh pada bentuk kesenian tradisional yang betul melekat dengan upacara tradisional rakyat Melayu. Cara pengembangan kebudayaan yang dipandang strategis diantaranya; 1) Re-vitalisasi, yaitu dengan cara menghidupkan atau menata kebudayan sebagai penubuhan atau menghidupkan kembali kebudayaan yang sudah musnah. 2) Re-konstruksi, yaitu dalam bentuk menyusun atau menata kembali poin-poin kebudayaan lama yang masih ada. 3) Re-evented yaitu menciptakan dan membangun event untuk wadah pertunjukan dan pameran kebudayan.Kata Kunci: pemetaan, pengembangan, seni, budaya. However, its existence is near from extinction nowadays. This research aims to analyze the existence and the development of Paninggahan pandanus webbing and also the symbol meaning of webbing for the women of Paninggahan. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative. Data collection techniques in the form of observation, interviews, and documentation studies. Data analysis techniques that are in accordance with this research are data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions.The result of this research showed that the existence of Paninggahan pandanus webbing is near from extinction, in the process of pandanus becomes staple, colouring process at mansiang, and the tools used in producing the webbing is still traditional. The early product of pandanus webbing is mat/ lapiak. The basic technique of webbing is crossed technique in which one move up and presses other, two move up and press other and so on based on the pattern. The webbing of pandanus is a symbol of Paninggahan women that has occurred since Paninggahan ancestors. Long ago, if men wanted to find a partner, they looked for women who could weave pandanus.Keywords: existence, development, webbing symbol. AbstrakPenelitian ini mengenai kesenian anyaman pandan yang menjadi seni tradisi daerah Paninggahan di Kecamatan Junjung Sirih Kabupaten Solok yang telah ada sejak nenek moyang orang Paninggahan. Namun keberadaannya saat sekarang ini diambang kepunahan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis keberadaan, perkembangan anyaman pandan Paninggahan, dan makna filosofis simbol menganyam pandan bagi perempuan Paninggahan. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini berupa kualitatif deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data berupa observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Teknik alisis data yang sesuai dengan penelitian ini yaitu reduksi data, penyajian data, dan menarik kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa keberadaan anyaman pandan Paninggahan hampir punah, dalam proses pengolahan pandan menjadi bahan baku, proses pewarnaan pada mensiang, dan alat-alat yang digunakan dalam pembuatan anyaman pandan masih sangat tradisional. Motif anyaman yang digunakan pengrajin masih turun temurun dari nenek moyang mereka. Bentuk produk awal anyaman pandan berupa tikar/lapiak. Teknik dasar anyaman berupa teknik silang dengan menggunakan teknik naik satu impit satu, naik dua impit dua, dan begitu seterusnya sesuai bentuk motif yang digunakan. Menganyam pandan merupakan simbol perempuan Paninggahan, simbol tersebut telah berlaku sejak nenek moyang orang Paninggahan. Dahulunya jika laki-laki mencari jodoh mereka mencari perempuan yang pandai menganyam. In this study, a cosmology of the traditional Malay patty flour culture was carried out in Riau Province. The purpose of this study is to increase the reader's understanding of how cosmology is in research, so that by studying art cosmology it will make it easier to give appreciation to an art and can make art and artists better in the future. With the cosmology in the culture of the Malay fresh flour pat tradition, it can be known about the function of cosmology in the life of the Malay community as well as the use of the Malay fresh flour pat tradition. The research method used in this study is descriptive qualitative, where a description of the traditional Malay culture of patting flour in Riau Province is carried out and the sampling technique used is purposive sampling. Pada penelitian ini dilakukan suatu kosmologi dalam budaya tradisi tepuk tepung tawar Melayu di Provinsi Riau. Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu untuk meningkatkan pemahaman pembaca terkait bagaimana kosmologi dalam penelitian, sehingga dengan mempelajari kosmologi kesenian maka akan mempermudah dalam memberikan penghargaan terhadap suatu seni serta dapat menjadikan kesenian maupun seniman menjadi lebih baik untuk ke depannya. Dengan kosmologi dalam budaya tradisi tepuk tepung tawar Melayu dapat diketahui mengenai fungsi kosmologi dalam kehidupan masyarakat melayu serta penggunaan dari tradisi tepuk tepung tawar Melayu. One of them is designer and artist Altha Rivan. Altha is a designer and visual artist who often uses the plaster fowler metaphor as an object in his works. Through the metaphor of Fowler's palster, Altha tells about various social phenomena around her. And this makes Altha's visual art works very interesting to study and research. In this study, the author uses the theoretical framework of iconology and iconography, Erwin Panofsky. There are three stages in the process of meaning that is carried out, namely pre-iconography, iconography and iconology. In the pre-iconography stage, various formalistic images of existing forms will be obtained. And then developed into the next stage, namely the iconographic analysis stage. The final stage of this study framework is the iconological interpretation stage. Through this theory, we will be able to discover the concept of meaning in works and various other factors that influence it. The results of this study explain that Fowler's palster is a metaphor in Altha Rivan's work. Is an inherent subject that emerges against the background of the artist's past memories and ideas. AbstrakPerkembangan seni visual mural dan karya lukis di Nusa Tenggara barat, telah menghadirkan beberapa nama seniman. Salah satunya ialah desainer dan seniman Altha Rivan. Altha adalah desainer dan seniman visual yang banyak menggunakan metafor plaster fowler sebagai objek dalam karya-karyanya. Melalui matafor palster fowler, Altha menceritakan berbagai fenomena social yang ada disekitarnya. Dan hal tersebut menjadikan karya-karya seni visual Altha, menjadi sangat menarik untuk dikaji dan diteliti. Tujuan penelitian ini, mengurai makna yang terdapat karya seni visual Altha Rivan, dengan subject matter plaster fowler. Dalam kajian ini, penulis menggunakan kerangka teoritik ikonologi dan ikonografi, Erwin Panofsky. Terdapat tiga tahap dalam proses pemaknaan yang dilakukan yaitu pra ikonografi, ikonografi dan ikonologi. Pada thap pra ikonografi akan didapatkan berbagai citra formalistic bentuk yang ada. Dan selanjutnya dikembangkan kedalam tahap selanjutnya yaitu tahap analisis ikonografi. Tahap akhir dari kerangka kajian ini ialah tahap interpretasi ikonologi. Melalui teori ini, kita akan dapat menemukan konsep makna dalam karya dan berbagai faktor lain yang mempengaruhinya. Hasil pengkajian ini, mejelaskan bahwa palster fowler sebagai metaofr dalam karya Altha Rivan. Adalah sebuah subjek inheren yang muncul dengan latar belakang ingatan dan gan masalalu sang seniman. Therefore, from this lifestyle comes the demand for products that are following the concept of an ecological lifestyle. One of them is the need for bags that can be used for various activities and are environmentally friendly. The bag design is also one of the answers to the problem of plastic bag waste which is one of the most common problems in the world today. The design theme is an ecological lifestyle, aiming to make products that can help save the earth. The research method used in this design uses qualitative methods while the design method uses product differentiation methods. The purpose of this research is to design a modular bag product as a substitute for plastic bags as one of the eco-lifestyle products in its mission to reduce waste and environmental pollution. The product resulting from the research is a bag design with a modular concept so that it can be used in various activities, without having to use different types of separate bags. AbstrakGaya hidup ekologis adalah gaya hidup yang muncul sebagai respon terhadap permasalahan lingkungan global yang misinya membantu alam kembali ke keadaan semula dan mengurangi pencemaran lingkungan. Gaya hidup ini dicapai dengan mengkonsumsi produk ramah lingkungan, mendaur ulang sampah, memanfaatkan sampah agar dapat digunakan kembali dan menggunakan produk yang berkelanjutan. Oleh karena itu, dari gaya hidup inilah muncul tuntutan akan produk yang sesuai dengan konsep gaya hidup ekologis. Salah satunya adalah kebutuhan tas yang bisa digunakan untuk berbagai aktivitas dan ramah lingkungan. Desain tas juga menjadi salah satu jawaban atas permasalahan sampah kantong plastik yang menjadi salah satu permasalahan paling umum di dunia saat ini. The bamboo shoots (pucuk rebung), boats (kapal), and ferns (pucuk pakis) motifs are part of the traditional Lampung motifs, which are generally found on traditional fabrics used in traditional Lampung cultural events. In its development, these motifs are dominantly used by Lampung people to produce new products in 3D (three-dimensional) media which previously used 2D media forms. The purpose of this research is to see how far the transformation process of these motifs has developed and its application in new 3D media. The method used is qualitative through field observations and interviews. The results showed that the transformation started from 3D media, which was then developed on 2D media (custom cloth), and is currently being developed again on 3D media. This transformation process is considered necessary and reasonable and has the support of the people of Lampung. With the cultural change, these traditional motifs are increasingly known by the people of Lampung and the broader community.Keywords: transformation, traditional motifs, 2D, 3D AbstrakBudaya visual tradisional tentunya dimiliki oleh setiap daerah, paling umum adalah motif-motif tradisi yang pada zaman sekarang semakin jelas eksistensinya. Pucuk rebung, kapal, dan pucuk pakis, merupakan bagian dari motif tradisi Lampung, yang pada umumnya banyak dijumpai pada kain-kain adat, yang digunakan dalam acara adat tradisional masyarakat Lampung. Dalam perkembangannya, motif-motif tersebut dominan digunakan oleh pemilik budaya untuk memproduksi produk-produk budaya baru melalui media tiga dimensi (3D) yang sebelumnya lebih banyak diterapkan bentuk media dua dimensi (2D). Tujuan dari penelitian ini antara lain melihat perkembangan proses transformasi motif tradisi, serta penerapannya dalam media 3D. Metode yang digunakan adalah kualitatif dengan observasi lapangan dan wawancara. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa transformasi justru dimulai dari media 3D yang kemudian dikembangkan pada media 2D, seperti kain adat, dan pada saat ini kembali lagi dikembangkan pada media 3D. Proses transformasi ini dianggap perlu dan wajar, dan mendapat dukungan dari masyarakat Lampung. But at the same time the massive internet growth also has negative impacts such as internet addiction (internet addiction). The purpose of research on Ambient Media (non-conventional advertising media) is related to the dangers of internet addiction as well as the brand positioning of the Darmajaya Institute of Informatics and Business. Institutions not only provide insight regarding information technology but also protect students from being negatively affected by information technology. This study uses a qualitative method, with a brainstorming approach that aims to generate ideas, spontaneity and creativity. The design process goes through the stages of drafting the concept, the process of designing sketches and continuing with the digitization of the sketch or the creation of ambient media designs. After that the process of designing the framework and continued with the formation of the body of the statue, the coloring of the statue and the final process of assembling the ambient media components. Pidie has a rich culture that can be enjoyed until now, starting from dance, music, carving, ornaments, crafts, kasab embroidery, kupiah meuketop, kupiah riman, artifacts, and architecture. In this study, the object of research is the Aceh house belonging to King Husein in Reubee Village, Delima District, Pidie Regency. Rumoh Aceh basically consists of 3 types, of houses: ordinary people's houses, noble houses, and Ulee Balang (king) houses. The typological can be easily identified through their structures and ornaments. The higher the social strata of the homeowner, the more diverse and complex the ornaments will be. The identification of ornaments in this research object aims to see, search for, find, and classify Acehnese house ornaments with the ulee balang ones. In identifying research ornaments, the research method uses a qualitative method with a descriptive analysis approach. The selected types of data are primary data and secondary data, with data collection carried out through observation, interviews, and documentation. The data analysis technique was carried out by means of data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions from the data that had been collected. The results of the identification show that the ornaments found in Raja Husein's house consist of natural, geometric, and calligraphic motifs, namely the tendril motif, Bungong Mawo, Bungong Meulu, Bungong Tobue, Awan Meucanek, Puta Taloe Oun Pula, Pucuk Rebung, Bungong Seulanga, Oun Ranub, Bungong Taboe, Bungong Seulupo, Bungong Kipah, Bungong Chandelier, Cloud Si Tangke, Triangle, Bulen, Star, Geometric, Calligraphy with Lafadz (Allah), Lafadz (Muhammad), and address calligraphy (Kuta Baro Reube). Pidie memiliki kekayaan budaya yang dapat dinikmati sampai saat ini mulai dari tarian, musik, ukiran, ornamen, kerajinan, sulam kasab, kupiah meuketop, kupiah riman, serta berbagai artefak, dan arsitektur. Pada penelitian ini, objek penelitian yang dikaji adalah rumoh Aceh milik Raja Husein di Gampong Reubee Kecamatan Delima, Kabupaten Pidie. Rumoh Aceh yang terdapat di daerah Aceh Pidie pada dasarnya terdiri dari 3 jenis, yaitu rumah masyarakat biasa, bangsawan, dan Ulee Balang (Raja). His work is quite unique by featuring unusual elements, such as symbolic letters and numbers. The problem in this research is how the journey of Yasrul Sami's works and the characteristics of his paintings. This research is a qualitative research in the form of descriptive analysis, using the sociological approach of Vera L. Zolberg and art criticism by Edmund Burke Feldman. Data were obtained by using observation, interview, and documentation techniques by Milles and Huberman. The data analysis technique uses data triangulation by Mathinson, namely triangulation of sources, techniques and time. Based on the results of the research, Yasrul Sami's creative journey began when he was little, there were several people involved and became Yasrul's motivation to become an artist as well as a lecturer. Yasrul's work when he was young was in the form of geometric lines, during his junior high school years he painted realistic landscapes. During his high school years, he stopped painting and continued at the SMSR school and continued his education in abstract expressionism until now. Characteristic of Yasrul Sami's work based on an art criticism approach, it was found that the use of symbols of numbers, letters, repeated triangular geometric elements, water droplets and colors that were classified as gloomy matched Yasrul Sami's character. The conclusion of this study is based on sociological theory and art criticism in Yasrul's work is influenced by social and community institutions that shape Yasrul Sami's character. To measure learning motivation and self-actualization using a questionnaire containing the basic aspects of the ability to draw shapes, while to see the ability to draw shapes, the objects drawn in drawing shapes are 1 kitchen utensil (glass), 1 school utensil (book) and 1 utensil. fruit object (apple). The population in this study were all students of class XI SMAS Preparation Stabat with a sample of 170 students and the sample taken was class XI IPA 2 which amounted to 34 students, the sample was taken with the Cluster Random Sampling technique. This method uses a correlational approach. The results of the research findings indicate that there is a significant relationship between learning motivation and self-actualization with the ability to draw shapes, as evidenced by Fcount = 6 and Ftable for degrees of freedom = n-k-1 = 31 at the question level (α) = 0.05 is Ftable = 3.30. This means that Fhit is greater than Ftable (6 > 3.30). The relationship between the ability to learn motivation and self-actualization with the ability to draw shapes is 0.58 and the contribution or contribution is 29%.Keywords: motivation, learning, actualization, self, drawing. AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah ada hubungan motivasi belajar dan aktualisasi diri dengan kemampuan menggambar bentuk. Untuk mengukur motivasi belajar dan aktualisasi diri menggunakan sebuah angket yang berisi tentang aspek dasar tentang kemaupan dalam menggambar bentuk sedangkan untuk melihat kemampuan menggambar bentuk, objek yang digambar dalam menggambar bentuk berupa 1 peralatan dapur (gelas kaca), 1 peralatan sekolah (buku) dan 1 objek buah (apel). Adapun populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas XI SMAS Persiapan Stabat dengan sampel 170 siswa dan sampel yang diambil adalah kelas XI IPA 2 yang berjumlah 34 siswa, sampel diambil dengan teknik Cluster Random Sampling. Metode ini menggunakan pendekatan korelasional. Hasil temuan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara motivasi belajar dan aktualisasi diri dengan kemampuan menggambar bentuk, yang dibuktikan dengan Fhitung = 6 dan Ftabel untuk derajat kebebasan = n-k-1 = 31 pada taraf nanya (α) = 0,05 adalah Ftabel = 3,30. Hal ini berarti Fhit lebih besar dari Ftabel (6 > 3,30).
