Data were collected from 200 nursing students between April 20th to May 24th, 2018 from a college in A city. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, t-tests, a one-way ANOVA, Pearson correlation, and multiple regression. All analyzes were conducted using IBM SPSS 22.0. The results of the multiple regression analysis showed that the regression model was significant (F=14.57, p<.001). The factors affecting the quality of life were family strengths (β=.36, p<.001), high satisfaction in university (β=.30, p=.002), college life stress (β=-.20, p=.002). This regression model was explained by 41% of variances in the quality of life of nursing students. To enhance the quality of life of nursing students it is necessary to analyze college life stress and to assess family strength to relieve stress. In addition, universities need to make efforts to improve overall nursing students' satisfaction with the university by investing and providing continuous support for education and facilities that meet the demands of students.","PeriodicalId":395795,"journal":{"name":"Crisis and Emergency Management: Theory and Praxis","volume":"77 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-02-28","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"129422387","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Research on LID techniques is being conducted to reduce the damage caused by water disasters. A systematic procedure for LID installation, quantitative scale, and facility installation in urban watersheds is required. Therefore, in this study, overlapping maps were analyzed to improve the limitations of water cycle analysis using only land cover maps in urban watersheds. Based on the overlapping map analysis, the procedure for determining the LID facility installation was presented. The peak flood volume and runoff volume were analyzed in Gimhae, Gyeongsangnam-do, using the model (XP-SWMM). As a result of the study, it was confirmed that the exact capacity of the facility can be distributed according to the target amount of water circulation by reflecting the characteristics of the basin or building information.","PeriodicalId":395795,"journal":{"name":"Crisis and Emergency Management: Theory and Praxis","volume":"40 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-02-28","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"125468912","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Currently, the method for estimating the MTPD of national core infrastructure includes the amount of resources available and the recovery time of functions, but there is no specific standard or methodology. By analyzing previous studies and case studies, the framework for determining MTPD using added value among economic factors was confirmed and verified. Based on the framework, it was possible to determine the applicability by deriving estimates in Gongchon. Water Purification Plant in Incheon among domestic water supply facilities. In future research, we intend to conduct verification research on the possibility of actual utilization by identifying the reduction rate of added value targeting national core infrastructure in other fields and applying the framework derived through case study.","PeriodicalId":395795,"journal":{"name":"Crisis and Emergency Management: Theory and Praxis","volume":"291 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-02-28","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"115214092","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

After Professor Hwang's research ethics issue, embryonic stem cell research in Korea lost its vitality. In this study, we insist that Korea needs a reference point that is not greatly shaken. We review the establishment of Korea and Japan's life science and ethics-related laws and the operation of their organizations. Then, we compare the strengths and weaknesses of Korea and Japan. Finally, we will propose Korea's strategy to improve bioscience and bioethics systems. In Japan, it is possible to make specific decisions with expertise through the participation of experts. If Korean institutions provide sufficient meeting contents and data at the same level as Japan, deviations will be prevented by making the range of research available to life science researchers predictable. In addition, it will be possible to contribute to the guarantee of Korea's bioethics and safety by increasing the professionalism of civil society to continue monitoring while continuing activities.","PeriodicalId":395795,"journal":{"name":"Crisis and Emergency Management: Theory and Praxis","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-02-28","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"129746771","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

For purpose, this study analysis on Liongs Clubs with historical traditions and social contribution achievements. As a result of this study, the desire for existence, relationship, and growth of individual members were all identified as factors that increased individual organizational participation. At the same time, leadership was also identified as a factor that induces the participation of members of the volunteer organization. In particular, in the case of volunteer organizations, it is meaningful to confirm that the continuous participation and activities of members are important, which affects the intention to remain, unlike individual satisfaction and immersion. However, unlike the hypothesis of this study, the fact that leadership has not been confirmed to moderate between individual participation motivation and organizational participation is a task to be solved through follow-up studies in the future.","PeriodicalId":395795,"journal":{"name":"Crisis and Emergency Management: Theory and Praxis","volume":"13 4 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-02-28","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"133677151","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

A very large proportion of the high-profile cases brought for decision to the Constitutional Court involved intense political controversies which might have led to political crisis. The state of the presidential impeachment is both a crisis of democracy and a crisis of the Constitution. The resolution of the problem was concluded by the judicial judgment of the Constitutional Court, and the two governance crises in 2004 and 2016 ended in considerable stability in the fields of politics, administration, economy, and society. The Constitutional Court can help the political process and the virtuous cycle of deliberation through constitutional trials. In order for the Constitutional Court to preserve its independence in a dynamic political surroundings and continue to play the role of protecting the Constitution, it needs the development of democracy and autonomous public support and monitoring.","PeriodicalId":395795,"journal":{"name":"Crisis and Emergency Management: Theory and Praxis","volume":"13 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-01-31","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"114230208","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The purpose of this study is to develop and apply an online nursing training simulation program for nursing students and test its effectiveness. The study used a quasi-experimental, single group and a pre and posttest design. The program improved the participants' clinical competency and problem-solving ability scores, and it was found that the online nursing training simulation program was an effective intervention for the clinical performance and problem-solving ability of nursing students. The online nursing training simulation program developed in this study enables repeated training while minimizing the burden on learners. In addition, it can be applied without time and space restrictions in a continuous infection situation such as COVID 19. In the future, based on the results of this study, it is necessary to develop various online nursing practice contents. In addition it is suggested that long-term follow-up studies will be conducted to verify the persistence of effects through repeated measurements.","PeriodicalId":395795,"journal":{"name":"Crisis and Emergency Management: Theory and Praxis","volume":"115 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-01-31","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"124679511","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
