But within the media industry itself, gender equality is a problem. This article discusses the position of women in Riau Television. Of the 12 division leadership positions in Riau Television, there are only four women who occupy manager positions. Using qualitative research methods and using the four women as cases studied, in this article the author reveals the explanation behind only four women occupying managerial positions in the midst of male domination. Framed by the Glass Ceiling Theory the question answered is: What are the pathways in which the four female journalists have succeeded in occupying the position of manager on Riau TV in the midst of male domination? The results of the study show that social channels that enable women to succeed in breaking through the barriers are seen in the policies of the president director as a company leader in promoting them to occupy manager positions. The reality of women who occupy manager positions in Riau Television, is not a portrait that portrays a form of position sharing out of pity. In addition, this study also wants to explain the place and position of Raisah in the dynamics of local politics from the 1930s to the New Order. This research uses the historical method that is combined with the life story or biography method. Sales Promotion Girl (SPG) is one of the professions that are in great demand by women, especially teenagers today. SPG is a woman who has met certain criteria recruited by companies to promote, market and inform consumers of the products. Their work is vulnerable to sexual oppression. This inspired Indah Hanaco in writing her novel. Therefore, there are several issues to be discussed. (1) the form of virginity discourse represented by The Curse of Beauty. (2) the function of virginity discourse in The Curse of Beauty (3) the meaning of virginity discourse represented by Indah Hanaco. This study uses the analysis of form, function, meaning the discourse theory of Michel Foucault. This research shows, virginity is a discourse formed by the social construction of society about women who have never had sexual relations. The form of the discourse of virginity is shown through the story of the taboo of sexual intercourse before marriage or the importance of keeping the chastity (virginity) of women from sex intercourse with a lover. The function of virginity discourse in the novel is as a description of social construction in society about what is a woman's virginity. They were merely a symbol and administrative officer. While the policy determinant is on the husband or family of the male party. In contrast, the case study of women Head Village chief Ponteh successfully run the village government without the influence of the husband or family from the male side. The leadership of Klebun Babine' is not inferior to the village head led by men. The case study revealed the leadership practices, leadership styles and driving factors of Klebun Babine ' in the village government. By doing observasion, in-depth interviews and playing documentation revealed that Klebun Babine's leadership performed by paddling the community as a child, giving freedom to the official village to work well and to tighten on Primary community interests from personal interests. Klebun Babine' implements the style of masculine-transformational leadership with the hallmark of totality in leading based on Divine value (transcendentalism). The driving factor of Klebun Babine' success in the first village government are the individual ability, communication to bring out a layer of community, second, community suppor and active, third, the maximum role of village government. Namely, mainstreaming women’s narrative as a basis of analysis of research about Indonesian Islam and examining the practices of Islam in everyday life of Muslims across the archipelago. Based on writer’s experiences in conducting ethnographic research regarding Islamic family law, this article aims at discussing further how women’s inclusion generates particular model of understanding and application of Islamic family law. As a matter of fact, family law is the most intimate legal practices in everyday relations for Muslim and thus, involve both men and women. Moreover, Islamic law is not merely about doctrines and universal resources, but also about interpretation and local practices. This article argues that the presence of women’s voices and experiences in the epistemology of Islamic law, which is often excluded, is one of primary factors of ensuring how Islamic family law can provide more justice and equality to women’s interests. T his study aims to find out the Qur'anic view of the story of the expulsion of Adam and Eve from heaven, expressing the comprehensive view of the Qur'an about the chronology of the exorcism of Adam and Eve and outlining the causes of the expulsion of Adam and Eve from Heaven. This study uses thematic method with Q.S. An-Nisa (4): 1 and al-A'raf (7): 22 as sources of data. Linguistic analysis was used to analyze the data. The results of the study showed that the emergence of this assumption is motivated by several reasons. Among the reasons is the history of Israiliyyat made by the classical interpreters as the primary source in interpreting the verses about Adam and Eve, which began at the end of the first century of Hhijriyah. The Israiliyyat narrations which speak of the story of Adam and Eve in general provide information which tends to make Eve a degrading party as well as a source of sin. This understanding ultimately affects the lowering of women's position over men in real life.
