A qualitative research method was used in this study ehere the data taken from interviews, observation, and documentations. After several interviews, observation and by looking at the documentation, the researcher found that the women of Rimba people uses local wisdom in keeping their reproduction healthy, that is they use natural surroundings in their life in every way, including in keeping their reproduction system healthy. For example during menstruation circle, the women uses special tree bark as a substitute for ordinary sanitary napkins; during their pregnancy; they eat special fruit usually fruit with high acidity that they could found in the forest; they also uses natural way in preventing pregnancy; they also uses several natural plant to prevent pregnancy, such as the women eat turmeric plant and several other plants. During the birthing time, they have special place called “tanoh peranaan” where the women gives birth and no men even their husbands are not allowed to come. But even without modern amenities, these women have good reproduction system. As a complete way of life, Islam has given special attention and position to women who will never find it in any system of belief and civilization. This paper discusses gender equity and equality from Islamic perspective and specifically looks it within Malaysian context. It also traces the historical involvement of Muslim women in nation building since Malaysia achieved her independence in 1957. This is important to show that the government of Malaysia has given special attention to women, especially Muslim women to play significant role and contribute positively to the society and nation building. This is in accordance to the government focus on positioning the wasatiyyah approach in line with the role of the state in preserving Shariah according to the maqasid al-shariah. For men who have a particular social background, the desire tocommit a crime is likely to have a higher chance. This assumption begins with the tendency of men as husbands who are more eager to fulfill their sexual needs that may end positive or negative. But when a man no longer has a place tofulfill his desire, they will divert the purpose of his power to another subject that is considered vulnerable and easy to master. Starting from field research, this research has succeeded to deepen the testimony of three child sex perpetrators who are all domiciled in Agam regency of West Sumatra. The result of exploring the three perpetrators, there are indicators that are interconnected with each other about how they approach the child. The data gained through qualitative research, that is by doing observation and interviews, and giving questionnaires. The data have been analysed through grouping, verifying, interpreting, and concluding. The result showed that many informants agreed that women must give the chance to lead. The women leadership is accepted in IAIN Padangsidimpuan, it is shown by the result that 65.83% students and 93.93% from the other components in IAIN Padangsidimpuan agreed to women leadership. It means that many people in IAIN Padangsidimpuan agree for the women leadership. Moreover, the equality of gender in leadership has been fulfilled, because about 40% the leader in IAIN Padangsidimpuan are women.Based on the result, it can be stated that in IAIN Padangsidimpuan, the women leaders are accepted; and it is also not rejected by Al-Qur’an. So, will be the woman as a leader? Why not. She was a real nationalist who also became anti-British until her death and the earliest women who dared to speak openly to stimulate the spirit of Malay nationalism. She was directly involved in struggling Malay Peninsula from the invaders. She is also the earliest figure to make Malay women to be progressive and dare to challenge a conservative culture. She also opens opportunities and attracts other women to become more courageous and high-minded women. This study uses a historical approach. This study found that Shamsiah Fakeh's struggle in achieving Malaya's independence cannot be denied. The character of Shamsiah Fakeh as a Malay-nationalist politician was forthright in struggling the independence of the Malay Land. She becomes a political figure of woman who is positive and progressive minded, especially in defending women' political rights. Her courage, abundance and honesty in fighting for women's political rights are difficult to match in contemporary contexts. Shamsiah's involvement in the political field and the struggle for independence were solely based on the sincerity of the nation liberation from the grip of British colonialism. It also aims to empower the position of women and children. The purpose of the study is to describe comprehensively the existance of P2TP2A in sub-district, district, city, and province in West Sumatra. Descriptive qualitative research was used where the data taken from questionnaire and in-deepth-interview. The study found that the Center of Integrated Service for Women and Children Empowerment was established by following certain procedure, legality and personnel structure. It also found that the majority of P2TP2A in West Sumatra has insufficient infrastructures. Meanwhile, it is only P2TP2A Limpapeh Rumah Nan Gadang of West Sumatera, and P2TP2A Luhak Nan Tuo Batusangkar has sufficient infrastructures. Many of them were located at the corner of Community Empowerment and Women and Family Planning office (BPMPKB). Every P2TP2A in those district and city have made their programs, but they faced some difficulties in realize them doe to financial problems. The human resources were recruited from SKPD, academician, professional, society figures, LSM who concern on gender meanstreaming. They play the role more on providing the service than giving information and empowerment. The purpose of this research is to provide conceptual constructions of marriage happiness of wives according to the ideal concept of Javanese women. There are four aspects of marriage happiness, namely harmony, husband and wife attachment, marital intimacy, and economic life.The research finding also found that the Wulas Sari Script contains 13 attitude learning principles besides the ideal woman characteristic.
