The data gained through qualitative research, that is by doing observation and interviews, and giving questionnaires. The data have been analysed through grouping, verifying, interpreting, and concluding. The result showed that many informants agreed that women must give the chance to lead. The women leadership is accepted in IAIN Padangsidimpuan, it is shown by the result that 65.83% students and 93.93% from the other components in IAIN Padangsidimpuan agreed to women leadership. It means that many people in IAIN Padangsidimpuan agree for the women leadership. Moreover, the equality of gender in leadership has been fulfilled, because about 40% the leader in IAIN Padangsidimpuan are women.Based on the result, it can be stated that in IAIN Padangsidimpuan, the women leaders are accepted; and it is also not rejected by Al-Qur’an. So, will be the woman as a leader? Why not.
