It analyzes projections gathered from surveys conducted in 2017 (for expectations up to 2027) and 2020 (up to 2030). Internal knowledge, firm capacitation, technology perception, and structural features' roles in expectation shifts were assessed using fuzzy-system methodology. Results show a shift from incongruent and optimistic to congruent and non-optimistic patterns between 2017 and 2020. Learning efforts and digital readiness enhance congruence probability, while non-exporting firms are more likely to shift to incongruent and non-optimistic expectations. Additionally, a perception of low market dominance of digital technologies reduces the likelihood of transitioning to non-optimistic expectations. Overall, enhancing digital readiness mitigates regression in expectation patterns, underscoring the importance of proactive learning and adaptation in firms' technology adoption strategies.</p></div>","PeriodicalId":38944,"journal":{"name":"Journal of High Technology Management Research","volume":"35 2","pages":"Article 100498"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-07-11","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"141596777","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The analysis results based on structural equation modeling (PLS-SEM) indicate that environmental dynamism significantly impacts a firm's ability to sustain growth and that transformational leadership and strategic flexibility can enhance this impact. Specifically, transformational leadership can promote innovation and change, improving a firm's ability to sustain growth. At the same time, strategic flexibility can help a firm respond to environmental changes and improve its adaptability and competitiveness. Therefore, companies should focus on leadership and strategic expansion in the face of ecological dynamism and adjust their strategies at the right time to respond to the changing market competition.</p></div>","PeriodicalId":38944,"journal":{"name":"Journal of High Technology Management Research","volume":"35 2","pages":"Article 100499"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-06-27","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"141481653","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The paper employs a unique dataset from S&amp;P 1500 firms from 2007 to 2018. The empirical results suggest that large and diversified boards are the main determinants of CEO compensation, in line with the theory. Moreover, longer-tenured CEOs who also hold the board chairperson position receive greater compensation and bonuses than their peers. In addition, a firm financial performance affects CEO compensation, with the influence being more pronounced in the CEO's total compensation. One of the most important aspects of universities is the widespread use of machine learning methods to evaluate students' progress. Machine learning approaches are designed to speed up the learning process without sacrificing accuracy. The dynamics of teaching and learning have shifted since the introduction of modern technological tools. The educational system as a whole has changed and developed over time. These days, people can get an education outside of the classroom as well, thanks to the proliferation of online courses and resources. Everyone's professional life begins with their education. By analyzing past data, artificial intelligence methods can resolve existing problems. When applied properly, artificial intelligence can be a highly efficient method for solving problems with a predictable and repeatable solution space. The learner's personality can be predicted based on a number of factors using machine learning approaches. This article examines how AI may improve digital learning in education management systems to sustain the education ecosystem. AI in education improves student results, learning experiences, and administrative processes. This study discusses AI applications in education management systems and associated problems and opportunities. We also explore ethical issues and the roadmap for using AI to improve education. Educational institutions can provide individualized curriculum for students based on their unique personalities and areas of interest. Institutions of higher learning can benefit greatly from this instrument for personality prediction by recommending a course of study that will better prepare students to enter the field of their choice and achieve professional success.</p></div>","PeriodicalId":38944,"journal":{"name":"Journal of High Technology Management Research","volume":"35 2","pages":"Article 100495"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-06-13","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"141324030","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Therefore, this research empirically explores how social media influences enterprise innovation performance and examines the mediating effect of CEO narcissism on this relationship. By analyzing 15,696 firm-year observations from A-share capital markets in China over 2012–2022, our findings show that higher social media presence led to better innovation performance for listed companies. We also find a greater degree of CEO narcissism is associated with lower quality of enterprise innovation performance; increased social media activity is related to a more potent suppression of CEO narcissistic behavior, resulting in improved enterprise innovation performance. This study provides important insights into a thorough understanding of the interplay between social media, CEO narcissism, and enterprise innovation performance. Furthermore, in practical terms, it offers valuable insights that can serve as a reference for enhancing the innovation performance of Chinese listed companies.</p></div>","PeriodicalId":38944,"journal":{"name":"Journal of High Technology Management Research","volume":"35 1","pages":"Article 100497"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-05-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"141290356","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Thus, this study analyses the influence of timeliness of management information and trust in the partner in interorganizational cooperation. Furthermore, it verifies whether sharing information mediates the relationship of trust in the partner with interorganizational cooperation. A <em>survey</em> was conducted with 203 managers of companies associated with two Brazilian technology parks, and the data was analyzed with structural equation modeling. The results show that the timeliness of management information influences the interorganizational relationship established in technology parks. Furthermore, that the information sharing mediates the relationship of trust in other dimensions of interorganizational cooperation, which indicates that information sharing enables involvement of partners in other cooperation behaviors. It is concluded that the speed and frequency of management information act in different but complementary ways in promoting trust and interorganizational cooperation. This finding may be important in defining and reviewing the characteristics to be considered in designing the management control systems for interorganizational relationships.</p></div>","PeriodicalId":38944,"journal":{"name":"Journal of High Technology Management Research","volume":"35 1","pages":"Article 100493"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-05-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"141243620","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Due to the complexity of putting together and running such programs. For developing countries like India, the Public-Private-Partnership (PPP) model has emerged as one of the best suited ways of project delivery. India's developing economy necessitates efficient and timely project completion at the lowest possible cost. Government involvement and private sector expertise are combined in the PPP concept. Note that highway construction is crucial to the development of other types of infrastructure. However, highway construction is fraught with uncertainty due to factors like land acquisition, traffic management, weather, and more. Maintaining an economy's current rate of growth, high-quality infrastructure is the single most important factor. All modes of transportation fall under this category, from cars and buses to trains and planes, as well as the provision of potable water and agricultural irrigation. However, a lot of money is needed in this industry. Public-private partnerships (PPPs) are being pushed to speed up infrastructure development and meet such needs. Private-public partnerships (PPPs) include both public- and private-sector collaborations. To provide the necessary structure and person capacities, governments that have embarked on PPPs projects have often created new policy, legal, and institutional frameworks. Following the identification of key factors affecting PPP performance, a case study of the Porbandar-Dwarka highway construction project is used to compare and contrast three distinct PPP (BOT-Toll, BOT- Annuity, and HAM) models. Internal Rate of Return and Net Present Value are two key financial indicators that favor HAM over BOT-Toll and BOT-Annuity. Finally, the FIDIC requirements and the financial and legal conditions from the models are combined to suggest a new PPP framework. The particular findings of this study will help policymakers, investors, and planners in Gujarat complete future highway development projects on schedule and under budget.</p></div>","PeriodicalId":38944,"journal":{"name":"Journal of High Technology Management Research","volume":"35 1","pages":"Article 100496"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-05-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"141243617","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The sample is composed of 118 retained valid surveys collected from French companies. Using the PLS-SEM approach, the study found that CSR significantly mediates the relationship between digitalization and non-financial performance. The results suggest that French companies should focus on investing in CSR strategies in order to benefit from digitalization and improve non-financial performance. The study also found that innovation performance did not significantly impact the relationship between digitalization and performance. These findings have important theoretical implications for understanding the role of CSR in the digitalization process, as well as practical implications for French companies looking to improve performance through digitalization. Future research should continue to explore the moderating effect of CSR on the relationship between digitalization and performance, as well as other potential moderating variables.
