According to the concept of dynamic regulative systems (Kornilova, 2016), preferred or most relied on DM strategies are linked in an integrative way with a variety of personality traits that can be at the top of the hierarchy. These include risk readiness, rationality, and Dark Triad traits as reflective of a generally unstable personality core. Decision-Making Tendency Inventory (DMTI; Misuraca et al., 2015) defined DM characteristics via maximization, satisficing and minimization. However, the relationships between DM characteristics captured by DMTI and the listed personality traits have not been explored before. The goal of the current study was establishing latent personality profiles in a person-centered approach that integrates DM “tendencies” and the listed personality traits by identifying relatively homogenous subgroups of individuals with similar profiles. Methods. 625 individuals in the age from 17 to 39 years (М = 20,17, SD = 3,02; 84% females) participated in the study. We used DMTI, Dirty Dozen, and LFR questionnaires to measure DM tendencies, Dark Triad traits, and risk readiness/rationality, respectively. Latent profile analysis was performed in VarSelLCM for R. Results. The results indicated the presence of three latent profiles in the data after adjustments for age and sex. Risk readiness and Dark Triad traits were positively related with maximizing and satisficing, forming one latent class. In another class lower rationality, on the other hand, was linked with minimization. In the third class higher rationality accompanied lower Dark Triad traits. Conclusions. The results provide evidence in favor of the general hypothesis that latent profiles of personality traits are associated with distinct preferences for specific DM tendencies. Higher levels of maximizing, satisficing, and minimizing were not related to subclinical psychopathy or Machiavellianism. Higher narcissism and risk readiness, generally unrelated, are nonetheless characteristic of the latent class that prefers maximizing and satisficing. Preference for minimization of effort during DM was associated with lower rationality. Latent class or latent profile analysis is a powerful technique that sheds new light on the relationships between personality and DM, beyond the contributions of variable-centered approaches such as correlational analysis.","PeriodicalId":387581,"journal":{"name":"Консультативная психология и психотерапия","volume":"8 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"130784121","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The article presents the results of adaptation and validation of the Russian-language version of the Maternal antenatal attachment scale (MAAS) by J. Condon «Maternal prenatal attachment». This scale is aimed at studying the relationship of a mother to a child during pregnancy (quality of attachment, attachment behavior). Method. The study sample consisted of 320 pregnant women aged 18—44 years (average age — 27.1 years), gestational age — from 8 to 39 weeks (average 26.8 weeks). Results and conclusions. The Russian-language version of the scale was checked for internal consistency (Cronbach’s α coefficient — 0.83). Testing of constructive validity using Pregnant women attitude test, Relationship color test and Family drawing showed a close correlation with indicators of attitude towards the child. In addition to the original version of the method processing, a second version of the method processing was proposed — in accordance with the structure of prenatal attachment (cognitive, emotional and behavioral components).","PeriodicalId":387581,"journal":{"name":"Консультативная психология и психотерапия","volume":"86 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"133977569","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

We have studied the specifics of parental identity processes of young men and women without children. We provide the results of empirical study obtained from the sample of male and female students of Kemerovo state university. Method. Participants (N=163) were at the age 17—33 years old (M=19,32; SD=2,50) and 63% were young women. We used Caregiving and Breadwinning Identity and Reflected Appraisal Inventory (J. Pleck and colleagues), test of statuses and structure of ego-identity (E.L. Soldatova), Dimensions of Identity Development Scale (DIDS) (K. Luyckx and colleagues), Identity Stage Resolution Index (ISRI) (J.E. Cote) and test of life-meaningful orientations (D.A. Leontiev). Results and conclusions. We obtained some differences in the processes and content characteristics of parental identity among men and women without children. Male participants demonstrate lower level of commitment making and identification with commitment than women. Among men exploration in breadth and ruminative explorations are higher than among women. However, exploration in depth is higher in women. In contrast to women, men are characterized by the search for parental identity, related to the relationship with the father and the relationship to children.","PeriodicalId":387581,"journal":{"name":"Консультативная психология и психотерапия","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"129609771","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The research covers all stages from suspicion on a hearing disorder to sustainable results of rehabilitation. On each stage, we have highlighted key features of the experience and factors hampering or facilitating the process. Factors hampering the process include improper diagnosis presentation, fears of the child’s health deteriorating as a result of surgery, lack of qualified rehabilitation supervision, and unrealistic expectations during the rehabilitation. Factors facilitating the process include proper diagnosis presentation, emotional support within the family, adequate rehabilitation, success during lengthy rehabilitation, etc. The results show that living through all the stages of cochlear implantation is a critical life situation that requires mothers to change their values and interpretations. We revealed that parents whose children go through cochlear implantation are highly traumatized, the trauma is especially related to the stages of diagnosis establishment and rehabilitation, the latter of which is linked with expectations of positive results of this gradual process.","PeriodicalId":387581,"journal":{"name":"Консультативная психология и психотерапия","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"129617696","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

A model of risk factors for repeated injuries in children is proposed, which can be used in practice not only by a doctor, but also by a psychologist. We studied individual psychological characteristics of children, features of the social situation of the child’s development. It was found that a specific combination of these factors can actually cause repeated physical injuries in the child. In particular, the special role of conditions in the family was revealed, as well as the essential need to distinguish between true and false hyperactivity in children. It is shown that each individual child in the case of injury needs a person whose competence will help in preventive treatment of repeated injuries. The degree of responsibility of the person should be determined. The possibilities of a psychologist-consultant for the prognosis of risk factors and prospects for consultations are discussed.","PeriodicalId":387581,"journal":{"name":"Консультативная психология и психотерапия","volume":"51 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"132318878","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

At the same time, there are very few studies devoted to the analysis of the influence of chess on the development and academic performance of students studying chess as a school subject. This diagnostic study is being carried out as part of the Chess for Overall Development project, which has been implemented in the city of Satka, Chelyabinsk Region, from 2004 to the present. The aim of the study is to establish a relationship between teaching chess in elementary school using the «Chess for Overall Development» technology and the dynamics of the development of higher mental functions of students playing chess using the «Chess for Overall Development» technology (N=331), not playing chess (N=146) or engaged in other methods (N=160). In a cross-sectional longitudinal study, methods are used to diagnose the development of attention, memory, verbal and non-verbal intelligence, performance, and the ability to act in the mind. In total, three cross-sectional studies were conducted: with students in the second grade, in high school and in the ninth grade. The results of a comparative study show that in the second grade, students who played chess using the «Chess for Overall Development» technology for a year were ahead of their peers from the comparison groups in almost all indicators. According to some indicators, the advance in development remained until the ninth grade. In terms of academic performance, students who studied using the «Chess for Overall Development» technology showed significantly higher results than their peers from the two control groups: every third graduate from those who entered the tenth grade became a gold medalist. The conclusion is made about the expediency of using the «Chess for Overall Development» technology in elementary school for cognitive development and growth in academic performance in middle and high school.","PeriodicalId":387581,"journal":{"name":"Консультативная психология и психотерапия","volume":"85 3","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"132782301","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The limited possibilities of teaching student counselors on the basis of learning situations are discussed. The method of transmitting the principles and technologies of counselling by means of RAA through the organization of supervisory and intervisor groups is considered. A reflective analysis of two options for constructing supervisory support for student counsellors mastering RAA is given. When comparing them, conclusions are drawn about the general logical sequence of passing through the key moments of mastering the RAA in the course of supervision, as well as about the main feature of the supervisory process. In the course of supervision, helping student counsellors to overcome their difficulties in mastering the approach is built on the same principles of RAA as their assistance to school students in overcoming learning difficulties. Thus, students get a double experience of helping with RAA, available for reflection: the experience of providing such assistance, and the experience of receiving such assistance.","PeriodicalId":387581,"journal":{"name":"Консультативная психология и психотерапия","volume":"32 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"130134923","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Approaches to the treatment of these disorders, often carried out without taking into account the age factor, are not sufficiently developed. The various psychotherapeutic techniques used in PRG are contradictory and poorly structured. Solving these problems will not only achieve good quality remissions, but also prevent endogenization and chronification of mental disorders. The appearance of a new coronavirus infection, accompanied by high mortality, makes the problem of PRG therapy particularly relevant. Objective: to study the features of psychotherapy of depression in late-aged people with a history of PRG. Design: the work is a fragment of an open non-randomized study of patients with PRG, conducted in the Department of geriatric Psychiatry of the Federal State Budgetary Institution of the National Research Center. Inpatient patients over 60 years of age were studied. The clinical-psychopathological and catamnestic methods were used. Pharmaco-and psychotherapy was used. Results: 60 patients were examined, the majority were women, the average age was 66 years, patients with a first — time depressive episode prevailed-45% and recurrent depressive disorder — 28%. The majority (97.7%) of patients had delayed symptoms of PRG. The features of personality, age factors affecting the course of the disease and the peculiarities of psychotherapy are analyzed. Conclusions: the use of an integrated approach (a combination of psychopharmacotherapy and various types of psychotherapy) to the treatment of depressive disorders in the outcome of PRG is justified.","PeriodicalId":387581,"journal":{"name":"Консультативная психология и психотерапия","volume":"46 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"123576088","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The article presents the results of adaptation and validation of the International Trauma Questionnaire (ITQ) on a Russian sample. The questionnaire measures the symptoms of complex post-traumatic stress disorder (CPTSD), which can develop as a result of exposure to prolonged, repetitive traumatic experiences in the interpersonal sphere. Method. The study was carried out on a non-clinical sample, which included 429 participants who were 18 to 68 years old and who experienced at least one traumatic event in their lives. International Trauma Questionnaire (ITQ), LEC-5 (Life events checklist-5), author’s questionnaire “Emotional abuse”, Symptom Checklist (SCL-90-R) were used in the study. Results. The structure of the questionnaire in the Russian-speaking sample confirmed the two-factor model of complex PTSD, which combines the symptoms of PTSD («Re-experiencing», «Avoidance», «Sense of Threat») and disturbances of Self-organization («Affective Dysregulation», «Negative Self-concept», «Disturbances in Relationships»). Internal consistency of the scale was in the acceptable range. Among those who have experienced at least one traumatic event, 20% met criteria for PTSD (11%) or CPTSD (9%). These data show that respondents with CPTSD have more intense psychopathological symptoms than respondents with PTSD; women show more intense symptoms of CPTSD than men.","PeriodicalId":387581,"journal":{"name":"Консультативная психология и психотерапия","volume":"3 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"124989212","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The study was conducted as part of a comprehensive rehabilitation of those living in PNI, aimed at restoring their capacity to work. The purpose of the study is to test the possibility of using chess for the cognitive and personal development of those living in PNI, as an important condition for improving their mental health. The article provides an analysis of the case of Anton, aged 30 (name and biographical data have been changed), who was legally recognized as incompetent and has been living in PNI for three years. Classes according to the technology \"Chess for General Development\" were conducted during the year by psychologists–consultants working by means of a reflective–activity approach in order to promote the acquisition of legal capacity. Specific events during this year that contributed to Anton's cognitive and personal development against the backdrop of constant progress in chess are analyzed. It is shown how these events and the growing self–confidence led to a gradual change in Anton's social status (he gets a job, leaves the boarding school, returns to his family, stops taking medications in agreement with the doctors). It also shows the stability and positive dynamics of these positive changes over the next two years. Based on the method of situational–vector analysis, it is shown how, in the course of chess lessons with the support of consultants, resources were increased in the form of strengthening the subjective position, developing reflection and increasing self–efficacy, which contributed to the positive dynamics of development towards gaining legal capacity.","PeriodicalId":387581,"journal":{"name":"Консультативная психология и психотерапия","volume":"21 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"125025756","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
