The problem of psychological separation in adolescence comes up against many contradictions, such as high demands of society to the young generation and difficulties on the way to comply with them (prolongation of the adolescent period, dependence on parents, personal immaturity, infantilism, instability of axiological orientations, etc.). Aim. The goal is to study the relationship between the level of separation anxiety, components of psychological separation from parents and axiological and life–purpose orientations in adolescence. Materials and methods. Adult Separation Anxiety Questionnaire ASA–27, adapted by A.A. Dityuk Hoffman’s questionnaire of psychological separation, D.A. Leontyev’s test of life–purpose orientations, E.B. Fantalova’s «Level of Value and Availability Ratio in Different Life Spheres». Sampling: 98 students of higher and secondary specialized educational institutions at the age of 17–21 years (52% boys and 48% girls). Results and conclusions. Components of psychological separation from parents in adolescence is uneven; psychological separation from parents has been partially completed. Separation from the mother is more pronounced than from the father. Separation anxiety is expressed to a moderate degree. The conflicting style of separation prevails. Attitudinal separation from parents has been achieved to a greater extent affective and behavioral separations are insufficiently formed; in boys and girls, pronounced separation anxiety is associated with unformed life–purpose orientations and motivational and personal integration in the «value–availability» plane in the areas of «happy family life», «materially secure life», «freedom»; incomplete separation from the mother and the presence of meaning in life for her children are interconnected; incomplete separation from the father is associated with the present life–meaning crisis in his children.","PeriodicalId":387581,"journal":{"name":"Консультативная психология и психотерапия","volume":"52 S262","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-05-07","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"141003104","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

There is a lack of information in the scientific literature about predictors of professional burnout among schoolteachers. This complicates psychological work to prevent and overcome professional burnout syndrome, which is a consequence of significant physical and psychological overload among modern teachers. The aim. To identify the most significant personal factors of professional burnout among schoolteachers. Study design. The article analyzes the relationship between the professional burnout of schoolteachers and such personal factors as the professional motivation of teachers, their meaningful life orientations, strategies for coping behavior, satisfaction with various aspects of pedagogical activity. Materials and methods. The study involved 409 teachers of secondary schools in Moscow and the Moscow region aged 23 to 65 years. The following questionnaires were used: «Professional Burnout» questionnaire, «Life Orientations Test», «Job Satisfaction Components Questionnaire», «Coping Methods Questionnaire», «Professional Motivation Questionnaire». Data analysis was carried out using correlation and multiple regression analysis. Results. It is shown that the socio-psychological qualities of the individual, necessary for building the pedagogical interaction of the teacher with other participants in educational relations, primarily with the parents of students, are of high importance for reducing the risk of professional burnout. The most significant personal factors that are predictors of professional burnout among schoolteachers with different indicators of burnout have been identified (dissatisfaction with interaction with students’ parents, the predominance of controlled motivation for work, preference for unconstructive strategies for coping with problematic situations, a feeling of unfulfillment and inability to fully manage one’s life). Conclusions. Psychological, advisory and psychotherapeutic assistance to schoolteachers can be expanded by correcting work motivation, using positive reappraisal and non-confrontation to cope with difficult situations, and teaching effective means of communication with other participants in educational relations.","PeriodicalId":387581,"journal":{"name":"Консультативная психология и психотерапия","volume":"13 3","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-05-07","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"141004869","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The present article provides an analysis of changes in the sense of humor in patients with affective disorders. The necessity of this research is due to the emergence of new findings and the insufficient systematization of the scientific data in this field, despite the fact that methods of psychosocial rehabilitation using humor and laughter are being actively developed. The present research is aimed at summarizing and systematizing existing data on the characteristics of the sense of humor in patients with affective disorders. Results. Three theoretical approaches to understanding the specifics of humor’s changes in patients with affective disorders are proposed: «deficit», «pathological defense» and «mask». The «deficit» model describes humor’s characteristics accompanying depressive syndrome. The ones in the foreground are: a decreased affective response to humor, a reduced tendency to engage in humorous interaction with others and to use humor as a coping strategy. In manic and hypomanic states, humor functions as a «pathological defense», blocking negative emotions and stimulating positive ones. In «smiling» depression, the meaning of smiling and laughter can be characterized as a «mask»: their main goal here is to reduce the significance or to hide completely a patient’s inner feelings from others. Also, affective disorders are accompanied by an increased interest in depressive humor. Presumably, it functions as a compensation for a decrease in the use of humor in general as an emotion regulation strategy. Conclusions. Changes in the sense of humor in patients with affective disorders are heterogeneous. Understanding their specifics may be used to improve modern psychosocial therapy programs focused on humor interventions and techniques. It may also be used as an additional diagnostic tool.","PeriodicalId":387581,"journal":{"name":"Консультативная психология и психотерапия","volume":"20 3","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-05-07","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"141004884","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

For this reason, the objective of the present study was to adaptation on the Russian-language sample of the modern version of the Self-Determination Scale by K. Sheldon and co-authors, in an updated version called the Perceived Choice and Awareness of Self Scale. Methods. The scale was translated with subsequent questioning of 588 respondents (residents of Russia, students of St. Petersburg educational institutions), including 325 women and 263 men (mean age - 20,5 ± 2,39, Mo = 21). Results. When assessing the psychometric properties of the Russian-language version of the adaptable questionnaire, significant results were obtained, indicating the reproducibility of the number and structure of the factors that form the two subscales of the original methodology. Also, psychometric indicators confirm the reliability, internal consistency, structural and constructive validity of the Russian version of the methodology. In addition, according to our study, the questionnaire is characterized by high differentiating ability and diagnostic sensitivity: significant gender differences were found in the Russian-speaking sample in terms of perceived choice and self-awareness. Conclusions. According to the results obtained, the adapted version of the questionnaire has good psychometric characteristics and can be used as a qualitative research tool.","PeriodicalId":387581,"journal":{"name":"Консультативная психология и психотерапия","volume":"33 2","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-05-07","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"141004276","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Loneliness is one of the most common conditions associated with negative consequences for the mental and physical health of a person. The work presents the study of the association between the experience of loneliness and sociotropy, as well as their moderators, such as age, gender, components of psychological well-being. Study Objective. We hypothesized that sociotropy could be a predictor of loneliness, but the power of the effect would be moderated by age-sex characteristics and levels of psychological well-being components. Materials and methods. The study involved 252 adults aged 19-73 years, 59% women. The following methods were used: the Differential Questionnaire for the Experience of Loneliness (K.N. Osin, D.A. Leontiev), the Sociotropy-Self-Sufficiency Questionnaire (O.Yu. Strizhitskaya et al.), the Scale of Psychological Well-Being C. Riff (adapted by L.V. Zhukovskaya, E.G. Troshikhina). Mathematical processing was performed on the basis of IBM SPSS 20.0 software using the PROCESS package (Hayes, 2018). Results. The results of the study confirmed the relationship between sociotropy and loneliness, and also revealed that age, autonomy, environmental mastery and personal growth act as moderators of the strength of this relationship. It was shown that in the older age group, as well as with high indicators of the components of psychological well-being, the strength of the connection between sociotropy and loneliness weakens and loses statistical significance. Conclusion. It can be concluded that the components of psychological well-being act as a resource that reduces one's vulnerability to the negative effects of loneliness.","PeriodicalId":387581,"journal":{"name":"Консультативная психология и психотерапия","volume":"89 3","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-05-07","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"141003315","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The purpose of this study was to investigate the level of psychological well-being of elderly and senile people who regularly engage in academic choral singing, and to identify factors related to this. Methods. A qualitative analysis was carried out to analyze the statements of the participants of two Moscow academic choirs of elderly people about the influence of choral singing on their physical and mental well-being. A quantitative comparison was made between the two groups of participants - choir members (46 people 57-91 years old; M=73,6±7,8), and a control group of people of the same age, but not involved in singing (56 people 52-82 years old; M=67,1± 6,8) - in terms of psychological and life well-being were conducted. The following measures were used: 1) the Russian version of the С. Ryff psychological well-being questionnaire, 2) a questionnaire regarding the socio-demographic information and the satisfaction with basic life circumstances, 3) a questionnaire (only for choristers) regarding the characteristics of musical and vocal-choral activity and their impact on the well-being of respondents. Results. The detailed statements of the choristers testify to the positive impact of choral singing on their physical and psychological well-being. The level of psychological well-being of elderly and senile people is largely determined by the well-being of important life circumstances. Engagement of elderly people in the academic choral singing has a significant effect in terms of increasing the psychological well-being of participants only if the level of well-being of the main life circumstances is high. The duration of engagement in the choir singing negatively correlates with the level of psychological well-being of the participants.","PeriodicalId":387581,"journal":{"name":"Консультативная психология и психотерапия","volume":"177 2","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-05-07","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"141002088","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Adverse childhood experiences (ACE) is one of the most important risk factors for mental and somatic disorders and needs to be considered and evaluated in clinical and research practice. The aim of this study was to develop, adapt and validate the new Russian version of ACE-IQ. Methods. A total of 123 people (88 women, Me = 25 years) were included, of which about a half (n = 68) of the sample were patients with depression, the rest of the participants had no psychiatric diagnoses based on the results of the diagnostic interview. Results. ACE-IQ showed good reliability and internal consistency (Cronbach's alpha = 0.801). A six–factor structure of the questionnaire was identified («Sexual abuse», «Family violence», «Violence outside the family», «Mental disorders and substance abuse in the family», «Dysfunctional family factors», «Social Cataclysms»). Conclusions. We developed, adapted and validated the new Russian–language version of the ACE-IQ, retaining the structure and semantic equivalence of the original version of the questionnaire. Although confirmation of factor structure in other samples is needed, our data allows to recommend the new Russian version of the ACE-IQ for use in clinical and research practice.","PeriodicalId":387581,"journal":{"name":"Консультативная психология и психотерапия","volume":"39 S173","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-05-07","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"141003467","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Seventy parents with typically developing children and 32 parents with atypically developing children (autism, Down syn- drome, intellectual disabilities) between 10 and 36 months of age participated in the present study. The first sample was divided into two sub-groups: parents with typically developing children younger than 12 months of age (infants), and parents with typically developing children between 12 and 36 months of age (toddlers). Parents with atypically developing children were set as one group. The study used the PATTERN technology that employs video observations. Parent responsiveness was assessed on 4 scales (Dominance, Apathy, Sensitivity, and Support); group and individual PR profiles were constructed according to these scales. Sample comparison was conducted using Student’s t-test and Mann-Whitney U test. It has been shown that the PR to typically developing children differs compared to atypically developing children. Parents of atypically developing children are more inclined to dominate and are also characterized by greater psychological apathy. The age of typically developing children influences the nature of PR.","PeriodicalId":387581,"journal":{"name":"Консультативная психология и психотерапия","volume":"61 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-06-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"133047981","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
