Obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD) is the third most common psychiatric disorder, potentially disabling with significant social and economic consequences. In Russia, little attention is paid to the study of OCD, which leads to the problem of differential diagnosis and effective treatment of OCD. One of the reasons for the insufficient attention to OCD is the lack of validated Russian questionnaires for diagnosing OCD. The purpose of this work is the initial validation of a translated version of the Maudsley Obsessive-Compulsive Inventory (MOCI). Characteristics of the surveyed groups. A population-based sample of 300 students (212 women and 88 men) and a clinical sample of 13 patients with anxiety and depressive disorders (8 women and 5 men) and 13 patients with OCD (11 women and 2 men) participated in the study. Severity of OCD symptoms were assessed with the translated version of Maudsley questionnaire. Results. According to our data, the MOCI questionnaire allows to differentiate reliably (p = 0,027) patients with OCD from patients with anxiety-depressive disorders and can be suitable as a primary diagnostic test for identifying OCD patients (p < 0,05) and the risk group. The reliability and convergent validity of the questionnaire were shown.","PeriodicalId":387581,"journal":{"name":"Консультативная психология и психотерапия","volume":"45 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"126902186","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

It was hypothesized that the analysis of the similarities between individual profiles of student-actors can reveal personal typological features at the stage of selection and training in theatrical college. Sample: students of the theatre college, 129 students at the beginning and 117 — at the end of the 1st year, 64 — second year, 54 — third year, and 41 — fourth year students. Methods: R. Cattell’s 16 Personality Factors Test. Results: we identified personal characteristics that manifested themselves at the stage of admission to college and inhibited successful professional development: rejection of authorities, desire to dominate, refusal to cooperate and work together. Cluster analysis revealed four personal types of student-actors related to theatrical roles. The following strategies of pedagogical influence manifested in the process of work with college students: individualization of training, transfer of professional knowledge through senior students. Conclusions: the study proved the efficiency and feasibility of using the method of cluster analysis and typological approach in the study of acting talent.","PeriodicalId":387581,"journal":{"name":"Консультативная психология и психотерапия","volume":"23 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"129848170","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

We assumed that the experience changes during the course of psychotherapy, and the dynamics of the experience could be observed both within one session and between sessions. The sample consisted of 6 people aged 29 to 53, 5 women and 1 man. One woman attended 4 meetings with a psychotherapist, the man and other women — 3 meetings each. Conversations were recorded on a dictaphone and then transcribed. Two independent experts read and coded each transcript, and then codes were discussed. At the first stage of analysis, we noted unique semantic units. At the second stage, they were coded. We describe the dynamics of the experiences of each client separately from the beginning to the end of work with a psychotherapist. The results allow us to conclude that there are transformations of experiences in all clients; both in their experiences regarding the work process and also regarding the problem situations that were the reason for treatment. The results of further categorization, generalization, and interpretation will be described in the next paper.","PeriodicalId":387581,"journal":{"name":"Консультативная психология и психотерапия","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"129244733","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The following inventories were used: J. Crumbaugh and L. Maholick’s Purpose in Life Test (adapted by D. Leont`ev), the Längle-Orgler Existence Scale, P. Stark’s Meaning in Suffering Test and the Allport-Ross Religious Orientation Scale. The sample consisted of 36 people aged 35—55 with neurotic reactions (n=18) and with codependency (n=18), who sought help from psychologists, psychiatrists and public organizations, and 31 people aged 35—55 in a subjectively prosperous situation (control group). The results show that in a difficult life situation a number of dimensions pertaining to the meaningfulness of life are reduced, the suffering accompanying this situation is insufficiently meaningful, and the extrinsic religious orientation is more expressed in comparison to the intrinsic one. There were no significant differences between groups of people with neurotic reactions and with codependency in any of the studied aspects of the value-semantic sphere. It is assumed that the intensity of experiences in a difficult situation and orientation to help from others are limiting reflexive analysis of life and the current moment, correlation of likely outcomes and subjectively significant values, and independent development of an adequate behavior strategy.","PeriodicalId":387581,"journal":{"name":"Консультативная психология и психотерапия","volume":"17 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"121258075","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Investigating imbalance between the subjective importance of different life spheres and the time and energy devoted to them is a common task in counseling and psychotherapy. The aim of the study is to reveal the relationship between the the subjective importance of work and the time / effort devoted to it, with general well-being, work engagement and motivation under different levels of job demands. Procedure and methods. 286 students assessed the importance of five life spheres (work / study, family, personal life, friends, health) and the time and energy given to them, then filled Self-Regulation of Behavior Questionnaire, a modified version of the Action / State Orientation Questionnaire and Cognitive Emotion Regulation Questionnaire. 1,200 people assessed spheres of life using the same approach, then filled Satisfaction With Life Scale, Scale for Positive And Negative Experiences, the Utrecht Work Engagement Scale, a brief version of the Emotional Burnout Scale, the Workaholism Scale, Professional Motivation Questionnaire, Job Demands and Resources Questionnaire. Results and conclusions. Positive emotions, work engagement and intrinsic motivation are higher both in those reporting greater subjective importance of work, and in those reporting greater contribution of time and effort to this work (β=0,12-0,42, p<0,01). However, the time and energy devoted to work is less strongly associated with positive emotions, work engagement and intrinsic motivation under high and uncoordinated job demands (β=-0,14 — -0,09, p<0,05). Life satisfaction is higher, and negative emotions and emotional burnout at work are lower in those reporting higher importance of work, but this correlation is weaker for those who spend a lot of time and energy on work (β=-0,15 — -0,09, p<0,01). A greater contribution of effort and time to work, but not subjective importance of work, is also associated with workaholism (β=0,29, p<0,01).","PeriodicalId":387581,"journal":{"name":"Консультативная психология и психотерапия","volume":"74 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"132713421","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Determination of psychometric characteristics (internal consistency, factor structure, reliability and validity) of Russian-language versions of the above methods. Sample. 294 Russian-speaking migrants, who are currently living in Australia, Asia, North and South America, Europe. Participants aged 20 to 71 years old, including 220 women (74,8%), 69 men (23,5%) and 5 respondents who indicated «other» as their gender (1,7%). Research results. High reliability and external validity of the Russian version of the scales has been established. The Cronbach’s α coefficients for the scales are as follows: 0,924 for F1 BAOS, 0,903 for F2 BAOS, 0,869 for BPAS, 0,879 for BSAS. BPAS and BSAS were positively correlated. Satisfaction with life was positively correlated with both psychological and sociocultural adaptation. Negative correlations were found between indicators of anxiety, depression and indicators of adaptation. Sociocultural adaptation, measured by the questionnaire of C. Ward, A. Kennedy, showed positive correlations with BSAS and BPAS. No correlation was found between acculturation orientation toward the home and host culture, supporting their independence. Analysis showed immigrants to be better adapted, if they were oriented more toward the host culture and less toward the home culture.","PeriodicalId":387581,"journal":{"name":"Консультативная психология и психотерапия","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"115818904","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Theoretical and empirical data is analyzed to prove the changes in cognitive development and an increase in the operational side of informational socialization, which affects the transformation of personal identity and the relationship between generations. The materials of theoretical and empirical studies revealing the importance of the information style of identity for socialization in the modern world are presented. The empirical study of young people (N=140, age 18—21) yields the connection of rigid and fluid transitivity and on-line and off-line communication with styles of information identity and emotional well-being. The influence of transitivity on the on-line and off-line options of working with information is revealed, the key factor in determining psychological well-being in both hard and soft transitivity situations proves to be the style of information identity. The problems of modern digital informational socialization and the prospects for its further research are determined.","PeriodicalId":387581,"journal":{"name":"Консультативная психология и психотерапия","volume":"19 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"123689520","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The relevance of this issue is related to the earlier occurrence of a number of problems that are traditionally typical for adolescence. Procedure and methods. The study involved 68 girls aged 8—9 years studying in the 3rd grades of the school; the comparison group consisted of students of the 6th grades — 71 teenage girls aged 11—12 years. The following methods were used: Eating Disorder Inventory-2 (the “risk of eating disorders” scale), Body Appreciation Scale, Figure Rating Scale, Dembo-Rubinstein self-esteem scales. Results. It is shown that girls in primary school and adolescence have similar indicators of the risk of eating disorders, a tendency to thinness, a real and ideal body image, i.e. the problem under consideration, previously characteristic of adolescent girls, now requires attention in relation to girls who have not reached puberty. At the same time girls of primary school age are more satisfied with their bodies than teenagers. A significant negative correlation has been established between the risk of eating disorders and self-esteem, in particular, self-esteem of beauty (external attractiveness), abilities, self-confidence and happiness. High self-esteem can serve as a personal resource that helps reduce the risk of eating disorders at this age.","PeriodicalId":387581,"journal":{"name":"Консультативная психология и психотерапия","volume":"22 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"121907782","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

It is assumed that historical events are associated with certain emotional experiences, and the collective memory retains extremely positive or extremely negative ones. The study was conducted using visual methods, in which the subjects were asked to assess their feelings and emotions when looking at photographs of various wars of the XX century. Conclusions are drawn about the most pronounced feeling of fear among all generations of Russians when assessing various images of war; the absence of differences in the perception of the Second World War among four generations of Russians (N = 589 people) in all emotional reactions, except for the experience of pride in the results of the war.
