SCL circuit is further minimized using multiplexer minimization technique and provides to an enhanced performance. Delay, power dissipation, number of transistors, current spike and their product are considered the performance metrics for the present analysis. Of the various adders implemented, SCL full adder circuit provides minimum current spike between power supply (VDD) to ground during state transition and best figure of merit. This makes SCL logic noise immune, rugged and an excellent candidate for mixed mode circuit design. Simulations are performed using Tanner EDA Tools for 0.18μm technology node.","PeriodicalId":384966,"journal":{"name":"International Conference for Convergence for Technology-2014","volume":"15 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2014-04-06","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"130301609","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The web service is the common technology to implement SOA. Major concerns in web services are their reliability and fault free implementation. There is rapid evolution in web services to meet client needs and full-fill business goals. So, testing is necessary for web services. This paper proposes a novel testing framework to test SOA based services. Our propose testing framework explain different testing aspects like- fault handling, selection of test cases for different versions of the same service and finalize the test cases. The propose testing framework also focuses on test report generation and explain the role of service provider during SOA testing.","PeriodicalId":384966,"journal":{"name":"International Conference for Convergence for Technology-2014","volume":"79 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2014-04-06","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"123181190","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Low actuation voltage, removal of stiction and making a switch to work at Ku band frequency are main goals of this design. The ribs that are used in this model are made very stiff to avoid stiction problem. Hafnium Dioxide (HfO2) has been used as dielectric material with high dielectric constant (k~25) leading to high isolation. The designed switch is optimized to work at a very low actuation voltage (~11.32 Volt) with high isolation, -20 dB and low insertion loss, -0.095 dB.","PeriodicalId":384966,"journal":{"name":"International Conference for Convergence for Technology-2014","volume":"7 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2014-04-06","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"116127725","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

During transmission of signals most of the times in channels, bandwidth is having major attribute. It is important to make efficient use of bandwidth for any good signaling scheme. When there is transmission along any band limited channel, noise such as ISI arise. ISI leads to distortion in the transmitted signal and hence leads to reception of distorted signal. A technique called duobinary signaling also referred to as correlative coding has been used for establishing communication in vacant spread spectrums. Working of correlative coding is to introduce some controlled amount of ISI into the data stream rather than trying to eliminate it completely. A transmission system has been proposed in which correlative coding method has been used in order to reduce ISI and increase the efficiency in vacant spread spectrums.","PeriodicalId":384966,"journal":{"name":"International Conference for Convergence for Technology-2014","volume":"47 2","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2014-04-06","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"120927010","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Navigation problem of mobile robot in unknown environment is an interesting research area. This is a problem of deducing a path for the robot from its initial position to a given goal position without collision with the obstacles. Different methods such as fuzzy logic, neural networks etc. are used to find collision free path for mobile robot. This paper examines behavior of path planning of mobile robot using three activation functions of wavelet neural network i.e. Mexican Hat, Gaussian and Morlet wavelet functions by MATLAB.
