Ada paradigma baru ini, kebijakan pengelolaan perguruan tinggi harus lebih terbuka, transparan, dan akuntabel. Saat ini PTAI menghadapi dua permasalahan serius, yakni kualitas lulusan yang dihasilkan dan sumbangan PTAI pada pengembangan ilmu keislaman. Pada konteks kualitas lulusan, kapasitas intelektual dan keilmuan para lulusan PTAI menunjukkan bahwa banyak dari para lulusan PTAI yang belum sanggup menjawab setiap permasalahan keagamaan yang berkembang di tengah-tengah masyarakat. Masalah kedua di atas disebabkan karena geliat yang ada di dalam kampus saat ini lebih banyak yang bersifat politis daripada ilmiah. Selain itu, tradisi menulis karya ilmiah atau penelitian di kalangan kampus PTAI juga terkesan dipaksakan. Tulisan ini berupaya menwarkan gagasan untuk membangun Managemen Penjaminan Mutu dengan Prinsip Six Sgima pada Perguruan Tinggi Agama Islam (PTAI) untuk Merespon Tantangan Nasional dan Global. Mengacu pada semangat paradigma baru Perguruan Tinggi dan problem yang dihadapi oleh PTAI ini, maka keberadaan jaminan mutu (quality assurance) di PTAI penting dilakukan. Selama ini, mayoritas PTAI tidak memiliki lembaga atau unit penjaminan mutu karena dua alasan. Pertama, khusus bagi PTAIN sebagai lembaga yang selalu disubsidi pemerintah, selama ini merupakan �anak manja� yang keberadaannya terjamin APBN, bagaimanapun kualitasnya. In addition, this research was also conducted to explain the effectiveness of natural media in learning Islamic religious education at SAUNG schools. The focus of the problem in this study included: (1) Utilization of natural media in the learning of Islamic religious education (PAI) at the ungaran (SAUNG) natural school, (2) Effectiveness of natural media in learning Islamic education (PAI). This research uses descriptive analytical method with data collection techniques in the form of interviews, observation and documentation. Data that has been collected will be analyzed by means of data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawing. From the results of research in the field it was found that the utilization of natural media is done by applying the learning tools implemented under the program MABIT, outting, outbound, cooking and gardening. The effectiveness of natural media in teaching Islamic religious education (PAI) in nature school Ungaran (SAUNG) managed to make children feel comfortable to learn PAI and produce good cognitive value. The conclusion of the study was the use of natural media in teaching Islamic religious education (PAI) in nature school Ungaran (SAUNG) is done in some programs, namely MABIT, outting, outbound, cooking and gardening. The results of the research that the authors did found several educational concepts memorizing the Qur'an according to KH. M. Arwani Amin, among others; 1. Sincerity, 2. Obedience� 3. Importance of Quality, 4. Patience and Thoroughness. The method applied in PTYQ, namely the pesantren which he initiated as the following; 1. The musyrifahah method, 2. Recitation method, 3. takrEr method, 4. MudErasah method, and 5. Test method.While the Al-Qur'an memorization system at the pesantren which is fostered by KH. M. Arwani is divided into five groups or classes, namely: Preparation Class, Class I, Class II, Class III, and Special Classes. �Adab�� learning and memorizing the Qur'an in� accordance with KH. M. Some of them even have multifunctionally function because they have got the widest opportunity to develop themselves. Thus work and important positions in society are no longer monopolized by men. They work in various sectors with a variety of different reasons. Not infrequently they must increase competitiveness and deal with men. These are what are usually referred to as career women.The reason of women leaving home to work include (1) filling in their spare time (2) helping to increase the cost of family needs (3) providing for the family (4) as a result of the needs of the industrial sector that requires female labor, and so on.The position of career women who work outside the home often raises new problems. Their responsibilities as housewives are potentially neglected. The Islamic concept that places mothers as the first �madrasah� for children's education often cannot be run optimally. In addressing the issue of women who work there are 2 (two) opinions among scholars. First, rejecting women for careers, by working outside the hause there will be many obligations that must be abandoned. Second, allowing women to have a career with the demands of basic needs that require them to work. The woman's energy is needed by the community and the work cannot be done by men. It is marked by still a lot of data of radical action and terror in Indonesia. Treatment and prevention of the spread of radical requires active participation of all parties. In that case, the role of educational institutions is very significant to help stop the rate of radicalism. Therefore, this research is trying to find the design of Islamic education based on anti radicalism, as well as portrait of Islamic educational institutions that implement antiradicalism based education system. This research is included in this type of qualitative research. While in terms of methods, this study includes case studies. The case is the subject of study in this research is the implementation of Islamic education in boarding Amtsilati anti radicalism Bangsri Jepara. Educational anti radicalism is implemented with two models, namely classical and non classical. As a boarding school with salaf and modern system, PP. Darul Falah was quite serious in printing his santri into moderate Muslims. The extent to which a teacher was able to carry out the responsibilities and duties - duties properly. Not only the responsibility for learning in the classroom but how learners are able to actualize in daily life - today. The informants of this study was teacher of Islamic education at the Senior High School 2 Semarang and learners in the school environment. Research on the professionalism of teachers of Islamic education in the National High School 2 Semarang, using the technique of collecting data through interviews, observation and documentation. The analysis model used in this study is komponensial domain analysis. The results obtained show that , as a professional educator should not only academically , but personality and way of socializing with the environment is also become very important. Moreover, a teacher with a good personality and social will be a lot of good influence to the learners. This research is trying to analyse an Islamic education based on Abdurrahman wahid or Gus Dur�s thought, before he was elected as the fourt President of RI periode, from 1970 to 1998. This essay is based on the text written by Gus Dur, whether in the form of books, articles, newspaper section and any other types of the text , and also the papers from other figures who tried to interprete his thought. Based on Abdurrahman Wahid, the unclear national education direction programmed by the government - since colonial period until the reform era , that did not eliminate the colonial era heritage - is to create \"kelas kerani\". This class featured an alternative education concept with Paulo Freire and Ivan Illich as the figure with their oppressive education system as the main concept or the domination of strong people to the weak people. Based on Gus dur, the alternative education proposed by Paulo Friere still has the weaknesses in the approach used. It is still political in the confrontative context to the ruler. Therefore, this can make the confrontation against the ruler. This is not appropiate with the Indonesian society character who are not easy to accept the paradigm � the confrontation between �the have and the have not�.
