It relies on methods and tools for processing, analyzing, and interpreting large volumes of data with the aim of discovering useful relationships, patterns, and peculiarities of the functioning of logistics systems. One of the key aspects of data analytics is data collection and processing. This requires having a structured database that can be accessed to obtain the necessary data. The data collection process may involve various sources such as logistics systems, reference information, electronic databases, and more. After collecting the data, it is essential to process and prepare them for further analysis. Another crucial aspect of data analytics is data analysis and interpretation. Various methods and tools are used for this, including statistical analysis, machine learning, analytical models, etc. Data analysis enables the detection of trends, dependencies, and hidden information that can be valuable for decision-making in logistics processes. Data interpretation involves seeking meaning and significance of the obtained results and converting them into practical recommendations and strategic decisions. The importance of data analytics in logistics processes cannot be overstated. In today's environment, when the Ukrainian market is becoming increasingly competitive, the ability to analyze information quickly and efficiently can be a decisive factor for success. The third key aspect is the use of the data obtained. After analyzing and interpreting the information, companies must be able to implement the knowledge gained into their logistics strategies. This may include optimizing supply chains, improving customer experience, or introducing new technologies. Data analytics plays a key role in modern logistics management. It allows companies not only to understand the current state of the market, but also to predict future trends, adapt to changes, and remain competitive. To use data analytics effectively, organizations must invest in developing their analytical capabilities, including staff training, implementing the latest technologies, and creating effective mechanisms for collecting and processing data.","PeriodicalId":372796,"journal":{"name":"Economics of the transport complex","volume":"63 4","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-11-24","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"139238371","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Analysis of the latest research and publications on logistics management shows the presence of unresolved problems in the definition and calculation of indicators for assessing the state of the enterprise's logistics system from the standpoint of the process approach and the use of data available for the enterprise’s calculations. It was determined that the objects of assessing the state of the enterprise logistics system are: the subject of management (management personnel, organizational structure of management, technology and information support of management) and the object of management – the logistics system itself or logistics business processes (interaction with suppliers, warehousing, dispatching, transportation, forwarding operations and financial settlements). In the course of work on this scientific article, it was determined that the some issues require further research. Among them are assessing the state of the logistics system, the effectiveness of logistics costs in the enterprise as a whole and in terms of individual business processes, as well as clarification of the influence of the state of the enterprise's logistics system and the level of efficiency of logistics costs on efficiency management of the enterprise's logistics activities and the selection of appropriate logistics strategies. The article analyzes the existing main typologies of logistics strategies of enterprises and presents their analytical characteristics. A description of the main logistics business processes of road transport enterprises is also given, based on the specifics of the offer and provision of road transport services. A two-dimensional model of making a management decision regarding the choice of the enterprise's logistics strategy has been developed, depending on the state of the logistics system (by its object and subject components) and the level of efficiency of the enterprise's logistics costs (economy). To assess the state of the logistics system, it is suggested to use the methods of point assessment, expert survey and analysis of hierarchies. Estimating the effectiveness of logistics costs involves the use of an integral assessment and a taxonomic method. It is proposed to choose a specific logistics strategy based on the key factors on which the company's logistics management is oriented (costs, quality, time, logistics assets). A general indicator of the implementation of the selected logistics strategy quality has been developed: the relative change in the state of the logistics system must exceed the relative change in the efficiency of logistics costs. The study explores various approaches to defining corporate governance. The first perspective, advocated by international foundations and some defined scholars, views corporate governance as a system of rights and responsibilities. The second perspective considers corporate governance as a set of firm practices. This entails the use of specific strategies and methods to achieve company goals, including decision-making, strategy development, and risk management. The third perspective emphasizes balancing finances, labour, technology, and management to harmonize the interests of various stakeholders and the company. This involves considering the needs of shareholders, employees, clients, and other participants, as well as ensuring mutually beneficial relationships among them. The research results indicate that corporate governance can be approached from different angles, but all are aimed at achieving effective and sustainable company operation. Taking these aspects into account is crucial for successful enterprise activity. The study proposes the use of the triadic decryption method to formulate the definition of corporate governance. Applying this theory allowed for the systematization and generalization of key aspects of this concept, which is an important step in understanding and analyzing the principles and mechanisms of effective corporate governance. By using the triad mutations method, a rearrangement of secondary concepts in the original categorical scheme was made, reflecting the essence of corporate governance constructed as a result of applying the two-tier triadic decryption method. The generalization of three hierarchically structured concepts enabled the formulation of a definition in which corporate governance is considered to be a systematic and planned activity aimed at ensuring balance in the relationships between all participants in this process (owners (shareholders), founders, directors, managers, and other stakeholders). This approach allows enterprises to take a systematic approach to corporate governance and consider its dynamic nature, contributing to further research on the essence and peculiarities of using this concept in modern business practice.","PeriodicalId":372796,"journal":{"name":"Economics of the transport complex","volume":"21 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-11-24","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"139238639","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In turn, the fact of achieving the goal of transformation cannot be considered without determining the effect of this process. The need for theoretical substantiation of the transformation’s effect of the organization as an economic category arose long before the appearance of most modern methods of building organizational structures and methods of mathematical statistics. At the current level of understanding the transformation process, new models of organizational construction are important. Therefore, this article considers the application of mathematical statistics methods in the context of determining the effect of enterprise transformation in case of organizational changes. The work proposes to consider the possibility of determining the effect of the transformation process by mathematical modelling for enterprises occupying a monopoly position on the market of goods and services in the case of fixing the sale price of products by state regulators and for organizations belonging to the market structures of imperfect and perfect competition, unregulated monopoly and oligopolies. It is proved that the expansion of the break-even zone of the enterprise after the transformation of the organizational form configuration, which is determined by the ratio of the functional dependencies of the cost and income parts over time, can be considered as an indicator of the effect on the transformation process of the enterprise. It is the indicator of the transformation process effect, which is characterized by a change towards the expansion of the break-even zone, that should be used in various cases of transformational changes, in particular, in case of existing restrictions on the total volume of sales of the company's products while optimizing the growth of production costs.","PeriodicalId":372796,"journal":{"name":"Economics of the transport complex","volume":"21 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-11-24","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"139241508","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

To improve the management of such a system, it is necessary to understand its components in order to take into account all possible factors that determine its effectiveness. That is why the issue of substantiating the components of the enterprise's transport and logistics system is relevant. The following methods were used to implement the goals of the article: the information on the definition of the \"transport and logistics system\" was analyzed and synthesized, and it was established that the authors agree on the purpose of this system, but differ on the definition of its components. With the help of a system and information-logical approach, it was determined that the transport and logistics system of the enterprise should consist of elements that can be considered as resources, subsystems of managing these elements and processes of service provision. In the course of the study, analytical methods, graphical methods and synthesis methods were also widely used to form the structure of the transport and logistics system of the enterprise. The article further developed the components of the enterprise's transport and logistics system, which, unlike the existing ones, are supplemented with service provision processes that play a significant role in the efficiency of the transport and logistics services provision. The proposed improvements will make it possible to stabilize the process of managing the transport and logistics system of the enterprise and to form a comprehensive view of the system and the factors that affect it. It was established that in order to solve the urgent tasks of achieving strategic development by enterprises and farms in difficult conditions (quite a high level of competition; functioning in conditions of uncertainty; the need for immediate response to global and local changes, which lead to the need for rapid adaptation to new realities; the need to ensure modernization, digitalization, innovative development, quality improvement, rationalization of both production and management of enterprises in general, etc.) it is absolutely necessary to form and implement an effective set of strategies, one component of which is an operational strategy. The task of clarifying its essence, types, constituent elements, approaches to formation, sequence of development and implementation are really appropriate and require detailing. First of all, the term \"operational strategy\" needs to be specified. A thorough review of modern developments and achievements of scientists and practitioners dedicated to the definition of operational strategy was carried out. Despite significant scientific work, it is concluded that the considered definitions are abstract; some of them either do not give a clear understanding of its subordination, or do not outline its place in the general system of strategic management of the enterprise. Thus, the main purpose of the article is to formulate a definition of the term \"operational strategy\" based on the emphasis of its essential features and specifying its place in the general pyramid of strategies. As a result of the research, based on identifying a set of essential features by using the supporting techniques of logic, as well as taking into account the content of the supporting (basic) terms (strategy and operational management), the definition of the term \"operating strategy of the enterprise\" was formulated and specified. The main essential features of this term have been established, such as: decisions on issues of general policy and plans for the use of resources; support/ensure long-term competitive strategy; achievement of strategic competitive advantage; a plan for using the firm's resources. The place of the operational strategy in the general pyramid of strategies is specified: it is developed at the third level of management in accordance with the competitive strategy and is equal to other functional strategies of the enterprise.","PeriodicalId":372796,"journal":{"name":"Economics of the transport complex","volume":"100 ","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-11-24","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"139241839","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

To achieve this goal, a number of modern general scientific methods and research techniques have been used, namely: abstract and logical, including analysis and synthesis, induction and deduction; generalisation – for reviewing information sources, studying local and foreign experience; system analysis – for a holistic perception of the research object and a comprehensive analysis of the relationship between the elements within the defined problem as a whole; problem-oriented – for scientific substantiation of the methodology for assessing the level of transport sustainable development. Modern economic trends make it possible to emphasise the theoretical and practical importance of the problem of increasing the efficiency and sustainability of transport enterprises on the basis of technological transformation. At the same time, sustainable development of transport will entail technical and technological progress of the economy as a whole. The paper considers a methodology for assessing the level of sustainable development of transport enterprises, which involves five stages. The study also developed an approximate goal-setting system, which can be edited by the enterprise in accordance with its own priorities. This study systematised the indicators of sustainable development, which were divided into two groups, qualitative and quantitative, based on the goals set. Also, the article proposes a general integral indicator for assessing the level of sustainable development of an enterprise, based on the target approach, within which the indicators for achieving which are divided into indicators for achieving qualitative and quantitative goals in the areas of economic, environmental, social and technological activities, which allows to assess the degree of their implementation. The methodological basis of this article is the scientific works of prominent scientists and materials of periodicals. In the course of the study, the authors use the method of logical analysis to substantiate the factors affecting labour productivity and human resources in general. In order to unanimously accept the object of study and comprehensively evaluate modern methods within the framework of the identified problem, the method of system analysis was used. One of the main factors in the success of a road transport enterprise is the competent work of its management, their ability to make the right decisions, set goals and find ways to achieve them. But despite this, the main factor in the successful operation of the enterprise is the manager's ability to manage human resources. The process of resource management at a transport enterprise is considered as the process of making and implementing management decisions aimed at rationalizing the use, increasing and optimizing the resource potential of the enterprise in order to achieve the set goals and ensure the sustainable functioning of the transport enterprise. Effective formation and use of the company's personnel is determined by global trends in the development of human capital and professional competencies of some employees. To increase the effective use of personnel, it is necessary to implement a strategic planning process before the start of the employment of an individual employee, to justify the ways of developing human resources, and to form personnel reserves at the transport enterprise. The efficient use of personnel is directly related to the efficiency of the production process, so the assessment and analysis of the status and rationalization of personnel use should play a key role in the system of general analysis of the RTE economic activity. It delves into the profound influence of cultural values on the choices individuals make when managing conflicts, enhancing our understanding of this complex relationship. Defining culture and conflict as central constructs, the paper investigates several key cultural dimensions within Hofstede's framework. It focuses on individualism and collectivism, high and low power distance, and high and low uncertainty avoidance. Few studies cover the research on power distance and conflict style preference, underscoring the importance of understanding how individuals choose styles that align with their cultural norms, whether maintaining low or high power distance within their own cultures. The study uncovers the correlation between different cultural types and conflict management styles. In cases of individualism, there is a preference for an avoidance style of conflict management, while collectivist cultures typically lean towards compromising and obliging conflict styles. In situations marked by high power distance, members of high power cultures are more likely to adopt an avoidance conflict style. The research holds significance for managing intercultural conflicts across various contexts, particularly in the realms of global governance, international relations, and multicultural team management. The findings provide a valuable reference for managers striving to navigate intercultural tensions and promote effective conflict resolution strategies aligned with cultural values. While this study offers valuable insights, it highlights the need for further in-depth research on additional cultural dimensions. This paper contributes to understanding the intricate relationship between culture and conflict resolution. It serves as a guide for analyzing preferences in intercultural conflicts, promoting conflict resolution management in multicultural projects, and advancing cross-cultural cooperation and understanding.
