Given a set of objects with hundreds to thousands of polygons, finding the nearly exact distance between 3D objects are rather expensive and exhausted. In this paper, we presented our current work on performing distance computation between 3D objects based on vector-based searching using Dynamic Origin Point (DyOP). Our theoretical work suggested that by implementing DyOP, we could reduce the numbers of testing that will be undergone by the simulation and thus avoiding expensive computational cost.","PeriodicalId":364834,"journal":{"name":"2014 International Symposium on Technology Management and Emerging Technologies","volume":"121 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2014-05-27","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"114568995","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Variety of efforts, activities, and even science continue to be developed which are then used as a benchmark to improve customer satisfaction levels. Quality of service and the queue becomes very important to note the company to give satisfaction to the consumers especially in the business of cinema. Based on the same thing, which is by considering give satisfaction to the consumer, especially for consumers who have a hobby or a habit to watch at the cinema. Through the process of division of the questionnaire, the authors attempt to obtain and to know constraints and obstacles that occur in practice in the consumer getting a movie ticket. Through these activities, showed where the most common barrier is the number of queues that occur at the ticket counter, especially when watching in the days before the holiday or holidays. Consumers need to spend some time around 10 -15 minutes to get the opportunity to purchase tickets. That is why the author tries to provide alternatives that are expected to be one alternative to overcome the problems experienced, particularly to overcome the inconvenience of the queue which provides consumers. Over its growing information technology, many companies looked at the use of technology in providing satisfaction to consumers. This opportunity was be utilized by the authors in developing a system-based mobile ticket sales. Based on the survey, in Indonesia there are about 230 million mobile. Therefore, market and business opportunities in the mobile application area are very positive today. The author developed mobile cinema ticket sales system on Androids as the basis operating system. The analysis and design of the mobile sales ticketing application is using object oriented analysis and design methodology.","PeriodicalId":364834,"journal":{"name":"2014 International Symposium on Technology Management and Emerging Technologies","volume":"45 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2014-05-27","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"123161864","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The relationship between the franchisor-franchisee relationships is dynamic and most of studies from franchisor perspective and the franchisee perspective have received little attention in the academic franchising. In fact, if seen from the success of a franchise system, not in spite of the success of franchisees. Franchisee plays an important role, because the franchisee that run the business day-to-day and also have direct access to the consumer, so the success of franchisees is the beginning of success of the entire franchise system. This research conducted on educational franchise industry in Indonesia from franchisees perspective. The result from this research prove the importance of the transactional and relational quality in the franchise industry.","PeriodicalId":364834,"journal":{"name":"2014 International Symposium on Technology Management and Emerging Technologies","volume":"15 2 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2014-05-27","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"123265888","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Specifically, this model explains the antecedents and the outcomes of Green IT Internal Management (GITIM). The hypotheses were tested using survey data from 133 Malaysian IT companies. Using Partial least Square (PLS) of structural equation model, the measurement model is accessed followed by structural model assessment. First, the result shows that GITIM can be constructed as formative second order construct constitutes of sourcing, operation and disposal dimensions. Second, the top management support in environmental issues does not have positive affect on GITIM. Rather, the knowledge stock and IT business experience have positive affect on GITIM. Third, GITIM is confirmed to positively affect competitive advantage; both cost and differentiation advantage. This study suggests that information system resources, which are known to be important for innovation process, also contribute to GITIM and in turn lead to competitive advantage.","PeriodicalId":364834,"journal":{"name":"2014 International Symposium on Technology Management and Emerging Technologies","volume":"2 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2014-05-27","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"125173145","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The web-based questionnaire was employed to collect data from a focused set of 200 1styear students, studying in public universities in Thailand. The result of (1), using factor analysis, points out that the factors affecting students' behavioral intention to choose IT program can be categorized into three dimensions: personal characteristics, social influence and IT intention. The result of statistical analyses, incl. ANOVA, show that IT students hold some distinctive values of attitudinal attributes when choosing the program of study. Based on the findings, IT schools are suggested common strategies to attract targeted students and adjust the program's attributes to suit the students.","PeriodicalId":364834,"journal":{"name":"2014 International Symposium on Technology Management and Emerging Technologies","volume":"125 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2014-05-27","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"133476719","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In the planning phase of a construction projects, the architects initiate a project through the design of a building. The design artifact produced by architects is among the examples of the initial information that needs to be delivered to the other stakeholders (such as the engineers). However, the process of disseminating this information involves the complex interaction and iteration of activities. This paper discusses the preliminary work undertaken to extract the parameters involved in building consultant teamwork. We used a thematic analysis approach to identify the parameters for the subsequent development of an agent-based simulation model which simulates the interactions among the stakeholders involved. We validate the identified agent parameters with construction experts and with readings obtained from an Nvivo software report.","PeriodicalId":364834,"journal":{"name":"2014 International Symposium on Technology Management and Emerging Technologies","volume":"73 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2014-05-27","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"121514244","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
