This amount may result in significant health, environmental, aesthetic, land-use resources, and economic concerns if not managed properly. Waste to Energy (WTE) is a viable option for disposal of MSW and energy generation. This paper presents a brief review of WTE technologies; reviews the current market status of the WTE; and forecasts the potential global annual investment in this sector. The research findings show that incineration is the dominant technology utilized to date. Advanced technologies such as Plasma Arc Gasification are gaining momentum in developed countries, whereas biomethanation technology is expanding at a high rate in developing countries in the last decade. Scientist believes that the main cause of this is because of the deforestation, pollution, carbon emission from transportation and factories that led to this global warming. However, there are also skeptics that believe otherwise. To prove the cause of global warming and whether it is an event that occurs every now and then as some skeptics and scientists suggested a multi sensor device is build, which consist of temperature, humidity, carbon dioxide and oxygen. With limited funding and a few different location to be tested to prove this phenomena, a low cost device is built so that it will be within the budget of this project as well give the result that is to determine whether development has cause the global warming and forest and absorbing the CO2 emission to keep the world cool. Therefore, this preliminary study was carried out to study the levels of visualization skills among engineering students in Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) Skudai. 730 respondents were involved in this study. They were students from thirteen faculties in this campus. The respondents of this study were first year until fourth year students. This quantitative study was analyzed using descriptive method. The instruments in this study were biographical data sheet and short version of visualization standard tests. The finding of this preliminary study reveals that UTM students possess moderately high skill in visualization. The object of this research is Rajalu Ltd., a private company that engaged in melting aluminum and is located in Gresik city, Surabaya, Indonesia. The raw material used is aluminum scrap, which is obtained from the purchase of foreign imports and local purchases in the country. The research method used was a descriptive study where data collection is collected, analyzed, processed and then interpreted so it can find out what the problem is and can give you an idea of the problem solving while the data types are quantitative and qualitative. The data collected for this research are the data of the needs of raw material (Kg) and supplies (Kg) from 2007 to 2012. The open circuit voltage (Voc), current density (JSC), fill factor (FF) and efficiency (%) of boron doped without the use of negative bias (a-C/n-Si) were approximately 0.128244, 0.452821mA/cm2, 0.255398, and 0.014831%, respectively. Meanwhile, the optimize of open circuit voltage (VOC), current density (JSC), fill factor and efficiency of a-C:B/n-Si fabricated by low negative bias were 0.265508V, 5.602622mA/cm2, 0.220737, and 0.328355%, respectively. With this system can replace the existing manual system to a more systematic and electronics.
