The logical sequence of concepts is singled out: reading ‒ reading activity ‒ reading competence. The essence of reading is proved; it consists of an attempt to connect reading with reading activity and its results ‒ readiness to read a book independently and the ability to use the acquired knowledge for one’s own purposes. It has been established that becoming a reader, interest in books is born through knowledge of books and actions with them, reluctance to read can be provoked by learning itself. The definition of “reading activity”, which has an indisputable value as a universal human value, as work and creativity, as an opportunity for the comprehensive development of the personality of a junior high school student, has been revealed. Considering reading activity as a system of purposeful and motivated actions, we believe that it should be motivated by adequate motives directly related to its content. It is assumed that the formed foundations of the reading competence of younger schoolchildren can be achieved by developing the specified reading skills and knowledge, but not at the expense of extensive methods, but as a result of pedagogical modeling, the development of special technologies for teaching reading, developing personal-value, information-communicative and educational-cognitive abilities of younger schoolchildren. The following components of reading activity are distinguished: the motivational sphere, the cognitive basis of the reading process, the content aspect of reading, the communicative sphere, the informational basis as the ability to use literary terms, the emotional and aesthetic basis of reading. The concept of “reading activity” and “reading competence” was compared. The forms and methods of formation and correction of situational formalization of professional experience in the world’s leading training systems are analyzed. In particular: the training of adventure tourism guides at the universities of Canada and New Zealand, as well as certified IFMGA / UIAGM / IVBV mountain guide training.The article analyzes the existing systems of sports and tourist, and mountaineering training, which were methodically developed and formed in the USSR. It is shown that these programs have limited effectiveness in terms of the situational diversity of experience formation at the stage of sports growth of tourists and climbers. At the same time, it is precisely the insufficient variety of situational design of experience that is the reason for the emergence of the “extreme situation” factor. The generalization of theoretical positions of scientific work has been developed and the feasibility of the study of the selected problem has been demonstrated; based on a modern methodology, theoretical and methodological principles and specificities of linguistic norms and rules in the production of practical skills and skills from the Ukrainian language in the fifth-grade students are substantiated.An effective method of their formation is proposed, the components of which are defined: innovative approaches, general-practice, and lingua didactic principles, the use of didactic material, the study of spelling of the Ukrainian language as a dynamic system, the assimilation of spelling norms based on knowledge about the structure of the word, systematic assimilation of spelling material, a skillful combination of theory and practice in learning, the selection of effective exercises, methods, and techniques that will increase the literacy of five-graders. It was established that when learning language material and developing language skills, students need to name new terms, update the content of the grammatical concepts that they already have, so that, by merging them, forming a new rule. Specific examples of this approach are given when studying the suffix (“a significant part of the word that stands at the root and serves to create new words”). It is emphasized that this rule should be formulated completely, precisely, without rotation, using accepted motivation. The role of additional questions has been highlighted in studying the substance of itsformulation. It is determined that among the most effective ways of conscious mastery of grammatical concepts and rules is the reception of comparison, which develops logical thinking, teaches to highlight their characteristic features in comparing phenomena.The expediency of using such a technique as comparing certain grammatical phenomena with the corresponding rules, such as to find in the text presented in visual or auditory form, spellings studied in order to avoid possible spelling mistakes is proved. This new reality triggered us to get insights into our students’ attitudes to DL. An online questionnaire was designed that was completed by 95 English, Hungarian and Ukrainian major BA and MA college students concerning the issue of DL. Results seem to prove that it has both positive and negative effects. The important task of out-of-school education which consists in nurturing the individual’s ability to dialogue between cultures has been substantiated from theglobalization angle.The main aspects in the direction of the practical implementation of the strategic course of Ukrainian out-of-school education for European integration have been determined: the expansion of educational topics aimed at the formation of active life self-determination of a growing individual, person’s abilities to build life trajectory of development and becoming a citizen and patriot through the transmission of basic ideas and values of European society.The main task of out-of-school education in Ukraine has been singled out – the shaping of national values in the young generation as the worldview foundations of Ukrainian civic identity. However, while public organizations and private enterprises are making progress in implementing circular economy practices, the extent of the contribution of educational institutions remains understudied.The article provides the following recommendations for domestic universities to fulfill their role as a catalyst for the implementation of circular economy approaches.Development and implementation into educational practice of circular economy educational programs for various fields of knowledge that would support the goals of sustainable development have been analyzed.Universities should develop their educational programs by introducing the study of circular economy ideas as a prerequisite for sustainable development.Universities can focus on scientific and practical researches on the development of circular economy ideas and approaches. It is noted that the issue of development and support of patriotism is inextricably linked with the sense of national identity. At the same time, the modern era with its contradictions and alternatives forms a new, ambiguous, multifaceted patriotism. In the conditions of information culture development, public-humanistic patriotism should stand out, which, combining elements of ethnicity and state, recognizes humanity as the dominant factor. The issue of developing and maintaining patriotism is inextricably linked to a sense of national identity that is facing significant challenges in the face of globalization. At the same time, in today’s difficult and painful situations of challenges and threats, radical changes in politics, economy, and social sphere, the priority of social progress, along with ensuring its sovereignty and territorial integrity, finding ways to integrate into the European and Euro-Atlantic community, is to define a new strategy. Education as a multicomponent and multi-vector system largely shapes the future development of the Ukrainian state. Patriotism as an integrative basis for the revival of the spiritual values of society is a stabilizing factor of national and civic harmony in the independent Ukrainian state. It is established that the challenges of war, the formation of the world, the development of consciousness and national identity of students, and the challenges of globalization require the constant attention of teachers (tutors) in the context of national-patriotic education and the use of adequatepedagogical conditions. It is noted that the relevance of education on patriotism among students is due to the high level of their intellectual potential and significant social activity. {"title":"NATIONAL IDENTITY AS A COMPONENT OF THE CIVIL STUDENTS’ YOUTH CULTURE","authors":"O. It is noted that in recent decades, education is recognized as the main tool for creating a humane, equal and attentive to human needs society. The main tasks of education include the formation of values and the appropriate lifestyle for modern youth. According to the new approach, the focus is on political, legal and civic education. The article analyzes the use of the terms “national identity”, “national self-identity” and “national consciousness” as synonyms, as they express the ability to focus on objects of the external world, and at the same time focus on states of inner spiritual experience themselves as a certain community (nation), awareness of its essential features and separation of “we” from “not we”. The pedagogical bases of the students’ preparation for patriotic education in the pedagogical university are defined and include the following provisions: achievement of the purpose of preparation – the formation of readiness of the future teachers for the patriotic education of students (is carried out on the basis of interaction of public and personal interests); appropriate teaching and education forms and methods selection in order to prepare future teachers for professional activities, taking into account the new requirements and objectives of society. Accordingly, the following aspects of the future teachers’ readiness for patriotic education are singled out: moral and psychological, practical, which in their unity provide students with the necessary knowledge and skills, and form in them a value attitude to patriotism, and interest in patriotic education.
