The essence of the terms “vocational education”, “vocational teacher”, “vocational training”, “vocational and pedagogical training”, “psychological and pedagogical training of vocational teachers” is substantiated. “A vocational teacher is a mobile specialist who organizes and carries out engineering and pedagogical activities of students, is engaged in self-education, is creative in solving professional problems, knows how to cooperate in a team and communicate in an educational and information environment”. Specified components of psychological and pedagogical training: basic psychological and pedagogical training; fundamental psychological and pedagogical training; scientific psychological and pedagogical training; functional psychological and pedagogical training; creative psychological and pedagogical training. It is determined that “psychological and pedagogical training of future vocational teachers is a complex process of combining different types of activities of a future specialist in the field of vocational education, which results in the formation of psychological and pedagogical readiness of a future vocational teacher”. The author emphasizes that the strengthening of professional competences, in particular, determines the ability of the future technology teacher to act successfully in new, unforeseen conditions.The article examines the method of forming the practical skills of future technology teachers in the process of a technological workshop, characterizes the technologies, methods of metalworking operations that ensure the formation of the professional competence of future technology teachers, such as the ability to make products with the help of various hand tools, hand electrified tools, as well as a wide range of additional technological equipment.The author of the article came to the conclusion that that the formation of practical skills of future technology teachers in institutions of higher education in the process of mastering the specified discipline “Technology practicum” involves the following stages of its mastering by future technology teachers: alignment, marking, bending, cutting, sawing, sawing. The purpose of the article is to determine the role of innovative pedagogical technologies in higher education in the context of the transformation of the educational environment to increase the effectiveness of education. The peculiarities of the use of innovative pedagogical technologies implemented in higher education are analyzed. Attention is focused on the importance of adaptation to the changing educational environment and the use of innovative pedagogical technologies to improve the quality of teaching and learning. Specific examples of innovative pedagogical technologies and their advantages and disadvantages in higher education are provided, as well as recommendations for further research and implementation. It has been proven that the integration of innovative pedagogical technologies in higher education can provide new opportunities for personalized and flexible learning, strengthen interaction and cooperation between teachers and students of higher education, and contribute to increasing the efficiency of the educational process. In general, the article provides a comprehensive analysis of innovative pedagogical technologies in higher education, their advantages, problems and considerations, as well as real examples of their successful implementation and recommendations for further research to solve the problems of using innovative pedagogical technologies in higher education. These studies should be focused on the development of best practices for integrating these technologies into the educational process of higher education institutions, ensuring their availability and solving problems of bias and discrimination, studying their impact on the learning outcomes of students of higher education. In addition, research should also examine the ethical and social implications of these technologies and their impact on the individual and society as a whole. Through an analysis of CIs impact on global educational and cultural processes, the mechanisms through which the PRC seeks to strengthen its influence through “soft power” and educational initiatives become clearer.The author states that out of the nine CIs established in Ukrainian higher education institutions, only five remain active today which is attributed to the war in Ukraine leading to University displacement and the departure of Chinese language instructors due to safety concerns. Some universities announced the creation of Institutes but took no practical steps to commence operations, suggesting a potential political undertone to the decline in CI activity.The article delves into the role of CIs in shaping public opinion about China and its policies. Through cultural events, language courses, and academic programs, Confucius Institutes form public perception of China, influencing views on its culture and political positions, potentially garnering support for China’s stances.The interconnectedness of political events in China and the actions of its “soft power” instruments is demonstrated from history perspectives. The author notes that CI researchers have reached conflicting conclusions. Proponents argue that China is strategically oriented rather than ideologically driven. Critics claim that these institutes may serve as platforms for Chinese propaganda, limiting academic freedom and potentially compromising the autonomy of host institutions.The author concludes that the role of Confucius Institutes in advancing China’s soft power in Ukraine and elsewhere should be viewed in the broader context of foreign policy and cultural interaction strategies. Balancing the benefits of cultural exchange with concerns about potential political influence remains a constant challenge for Ukraine as the host country. If the government is the primary driver of soft power, it tends to be perceived as propaganda, especially if the country pursues an anti-democratic foreign policy and supports authoritarian regimes. Only when soft power is directed through civil society does it avoid such suspicions. The aim of the article is to substantiate units, sources and selection criteria of learning material for building lexical competence in English professionally oriented oral communication of prospective ecologists. During the investigation the following research methods are used: analysis of scientists’ findings, generalization, arrangement with the aim of finding out how this issue is being elaborated and giving grounds to units, sources, and selection criteria of learning material for building lexical competence in English professionally oriented oral communication of prospective ecologists. It has become evident that use of learning material is designed to build and develop in prospective ecologists system of lexical knowledge, language and speech abilities and skills, lexical awareness, communicative and learning strategies ‒ the components of lexical competence in English professionally oriented oral communication. The units of learning material selected for building lexical competence in English professionally oriented oral communication of prospective ecologists are envisaged as lexical units. It has been proved that authentic texts, audio-texts and videos of English professionally oriented oral communication that occur between prospective ecologists are the sources from which learning material is selected. A number of selection criteria and criteria of incorporation of lexical units into lexical glossary have been defined: professional bias, thematic and semantic value, stylistic appropriateness, ability to collocate, frequency and functionality. Rapidly advancing modern education offers new approaches aimed at enhancing its effectiveness, encompassing the theory and practice of teaching, upbringing, and education, defining them as systematic and purposeful actions directed toward organizing and refining educational processes.The aim of the article is to examine and analyze the impact of modern pedagogical technologies on the process of technological education with the objective of improving the efficiency and quality of the educational process. The primary focus of the article is directed towards revealing the advantages and opportunities of utilizing these technologies in shaping key skills among students, stimulating their creative thinking, and preparing them for the challenges of the modern world.During the research, groups of technology teaching methods were identified. The study focuses on exploring and analyzing key pedagogical technologies such as: information and communication technologies – facilitating not only access to knowledge but also encouraging active information exchange; critical thinking technology – aimed at fostering studentsʼ analytical and critical skills; project-based technology – emphasizing practical application of acquired knowledge and fostering creative thinking; developmental learning technology –aimed at stimulating active creative engagement among students; health-promoting technologies – supporting studentsʼ physical and psychological well-being; problem-based learning technology – aiding in solving complex tasks and stimulating analytical thinking; game-based technologies – fostering student interest and engagement in learning.The diversity of pedagogical technologies enhances studentsʼ comprehension of both theoretical and practical materials, positioning them among the forefront in contemporary didactics within general secondary education institutions. Implementing modern pedagogical technologies in classrooms creates an environment conducive to improving the quality of studentsʼ learning experiences in technological education. Ukrainian mythology is a part of all-Slavic mythology. The question of the formation of this science is a special place in our time, when Ukraine is choosing its right to understanding. The author examines the sources of the study of Ukrainian mythology and singles out the following: oral folk art, data from ethnography, archeology, onomastics, chronicles (instructions against paganism, Nestorʼs annals from 980 about the establishment of the Kumyriv by Prince Volodymyr, the biography of Prince Volodymyr in manuscripts of the 15th–17th centuries, etc.). Archaeological data – Zbrutskyi idol, pagan complex of the 2nd–5th centuries AD. in the village of Ivankivtsi in Khmelnytskyi, etc.).Scientists associate the beginning of the collection and study of information on Ukrainian mythology with the names of the ascetic of the “Russian Trinity” Hryhoriy Ilkevych (1801–1841), his work “On Russian Mythology according to folk tales” (1837), as well as the work of Ivan Vahylevych on the study of folk mythology and the work of Ya. Holovatsky “Essay on Old Slavic fables or mythology” (1866).The scientific period of the study of Ukrainian mythology is associated with the names of M. Kostomarov (“Slavic mythology”), O. S. Nechuy-Levytskyi “Worldview of the Ukrainian People”. A significant event was the activity of P. Chubynskyiʼs expedition and M. Dragomanovʼs work “Little Russian Tales and Stories”.The scientific understanding of Ukrainian folk mythology belongs to V. Hnatyuk, in whose work the simplicity and accessibility of the presentation of the material is combined with deep scientific knowledge.An important milestone in the formation of Ukrainian mythology is the study of Ivan Franko (“Peopleʼs beliefs in Pidhirya”. The studies of D. Shcherbakivskyi, F. Kolessa, M. Sumtsov, A. Onyshchuk, T. Rylskyi, V. Dashkevich are significant. It showed that in the majority of scientific works devoted to the study of sports motivation, consideration of individual motivational variables, mainly the main sports motives of activity, prevails. Three main aspects of the study of motivation in general and sports motivation are highlighted, in particular: the topological (content) aspect, which involves consideration of the content of the main motives of activity; the structural aspect, which focuses attention on the internal structural characteristics of motivation and assumes the presence of a certain structure of interdependent motivational variables as a single entity, which, in fact, is motivation; dynamic aspect, which includes the entire complex of factors that ensure the process of formation, development, extinction of motivation, as well as the development of demotivation. Motivational variables have been studied that will allow to consider and characterize the structure of sports motivation in a socio-psychological context, in representatives of team and individual sports, in which the fact of having a team can determine the uniqueness of the combination and the degree of manifestation of these motivational variables: external and internal motives of sports activity, valuable orientations, types of orientation of the athleteʼs personality, as well as jealousy as one of the motives that ensure success in a competitive situation. It was revealed that the structure of sports motivation is a system of interrelated internal and external motives that ensure the desire to achieve high results in sports of higher achievements, which is determined by the social and psychological context ‒ the presence or absence of a team as a group (“a single whole”), factors, that determine the specifics of the professional development of athletes. We see the prospect of further research in the development of programs that provide training for professional athletes to perform at national and international competitions.
